The presentation of advertisements to a user on a mobile communications device is disclosed. A first external input corresponding to a triggering of an advertisement delivery is received on a first input modality. An advertisement overlay is displayed in a graphical user interface in response to receiving the external input. Advertisement invocation instructions are displayed within the advertisement overlay. A second external input is received on a second input modality different from the first input modality. The second external input is translated to a set of quantified values. An advertisement is then displayed within the advertisement overlay in response to a substantial match between the set of quantified values translated from the received second external input to the set of predefined values corresponding to the advertisement invocation instructions.

A wireless device is enabled to provide offers. The wireless device receives card data for a financial account card and stores the card data in a memory associated with the wireless device. Responsive to using the card data in a transaction at a first merchant location, the wireless device receives transaction line-item data from a computing system associated with the first merchant location. The wireless device determines merchant information for a second merchant location and determines an offer associated with the second merchant location based on the line-item data and the merchant information for the second merchant. The wireless device presents the offer when the wireless device is near the second merchant location.

A method of sharing an experience between a tapper and a content provider is provided. In this method, at least two interfaces are provided that are configured to allow the tapper and the content provider to join a content sharing community. A third interface is also provided to allow the tapper to select the content provider from a map where at least one of the tapper and the content provider are unknown to the other prior to the tapper selecting the content provider. Then a solicitation is conveyed from the tapper to the content provider to provide a video feed. The method further provides a control that operates the map at selected historical times.

A method of method of providing an advertisement is provided. The method further generates a derived video feed by superimposing an augmented reality object onto the video feed, wherein the augmented reality object is based at least in part on the determined context, and then conveys the derived video feed to the tapper

A method of interacting with a remote object is presented. In this method, at least two interfaces are provided that are configured to allow the tapper and the content provider to join a content sharing community. A third interface is also provided to allow the tapper to select the content provider from a map that displays representations of members of the content sharing community. Then a solicitation is conveyed from the tapper to the content provider to provide a video feed. In response to the solicitation, a video feed derived from a device operated or carried by the content provider is provided to the tapper. Further, a fourth interface is provided to the tapper to select a portion of the video feed. From a video feed, an object is recognized, and a clarification question can be generated based on the recognized object and a profile of the tapper.

The present provides a user with the ability to view search results upon satisfaction of an event trigger or specified time delay (e.g., a rule). The disclosed systems and methods enable features that allow a user to link a search query and/or a set or sets of results for the search query to a trigger, whereby upon detection and satisfaction of such trigger, the search (and/or related results) are displayed. Such trigger can be associated with, but not limited to, a calendar event, to-do list item, location, a product or contact person, among other types of event based information events.
