Virtual reality shopping experience
A solution is provided for a method for a user to shop online in a three dimensional (3D) virtual reality (VR) setting by receiving a request at a shopping server to view a shopping location, having at least one store, and displaying the shopping location to the user's computer in a 3D interactive simulation view via a web browser to emulate a real-life shopping experience for the user. The server then obtains a request to enter into one of the stores and displays the store website to the user in the same web browser. The store website has one or more enhanced VR features. The server then receives a request to view at least one product and the product is presented in a 3D interactive simulation view to emulate a real-life viewing of the product.
Smart broadcasting device
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for broadcasting audio. In one aspect, the method includes receiving, from a server by a smart broadcasting device associated with a service client, an audio broadcast instruction; in response to receiving the audio broadcast instruction, downloading an audio file corresponding to the audio broadcast instruction, wherein the audio file comprises a marketing content related to services provided by the server to the service client associated with the smart broadcasting device; and broadcasting, by the smart broadcasting device, the audio file by using a speaker of the smart broadcasting device.
NETWORK-BASED SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DEFINING AND MANAGING MULTI-DIMENSIONAL, ADVERTISING IMPRESSION INVENTORY
A method for representing and managing an inventory of overlapping multi-dimensional items such as advertising or ad impressions. The method uses an inventory management module to generate unique segment identifiers for sets of inventory items by processing descriptions of the sets of impressions including defining criteria. The method includes processing the unique segment identifiers to create a representation of the inventory as a plurality of inventory regions, which may include non-overlapping regions that correspond to inventory items in a single set of the inventory and also include overlapping regions that correspond to inventory items in two or more of the sets (e.g., items that match two or more sets of defining criteria or attributes). Availability and selection of inventory is determined using the information on inventory regions to control effects of cannibalization, such as by implementing logically necessary allocation to only cannibalize a region on a limited or forced basis.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR PERFORMING AN ADVERTISEMENT-BASED ELECTRONIC TRANSACTION
Methods and systems for performing an advertisement-based electronic transaction are provided. According to one aspect, a system for performing an advertisement-based electronic transaction comprises a mobile backend server comprising a network interface, one or more processors, and memory. The mobile backend server receives, from a first electronic device, first information for identifying the user and second information for identifying an advertisement; identifies the user based on the first information; identifies an advertisement based on the second information; identifies a transaction object associated with the identified advertisement; determines transaction information for an electronic transaction involving the identified transaction object; determines payment information for the identified user; and initiates an electronic transaction using the transaction information and payment information. The first electronic device may be a mobile phone that captures the second information by scanning a QR code or by displaying an advertisement that the user clicks, touches, or otherwise selects.
Online e-commerce and networking system with user-participated advertisements, joint online purchasing and dynamic user interactions
Methods and systems are provided for facilitating user joint purchasing and user-participated online advertisements, including: providing means for a user to request joint purchasing of products and services online; subtracting sponsoring amount provided by users' sponsors from the listed prices of products and services; dividing the cost of products and services among users participated in joint purchasing; receiving separate payments from such users; delivering products and services based on system configurations and user joint purchasing instructions; integrating existing third party online advertisements with user incentives; and enabling users to create and modify online advertisements for entities and individuals, wherein said advertisements can be customized or designed by said users. Such methods and systems further include: providing group and role-based security for users; providing means for external websites to embed unique functions of present invention, such as user joint purchasing, user-participated online advertisements, and the like; providing means to enable users to arrange others' assets; providing means for users to participant in various online events to foster better relationships; providing means for users to pool funds for charity organizations or individuals; providing means for users to centrally manage multiple accounts of their external websites; and providing means for users to acquire free assets.
VISUAL INDICATION PRESENTATION AND INTERACTION PROCESSING SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A data processing device system may be configured by a program at least to determine particular content associated with a first indication of observable presentation of the visual indicator received from a first device system; store in response to determining that the particular content is associated with the received first indication, a recorded-presentation indication indicating that the particular content or information associated therewith has been device-presented; determine that the particular content is associated with a second indication of a user interaction with the visual indicator received from a second device system; and store in response to determining that the particular content is associated with the received second indication, an indication that the particular content has been interacted with by a user.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR ONLINE DATA COLLECTION AND PROCESSING
The disclosure is directed at a method for data collection and processing within an online system which monitors a user's activity on the online system and then creates a list of business offers for display to the user. The list of business offers is not displayed to the user until the user performs an action relating to a request to review the list of business offers.
Methods and systems for validating online transactions using location
A method comprising: obtaining a service point location, the service point location being associated with a logical identifier assigned to end-user equipment used in an attempt to make an online transaction; obtaining at least one authorized transaction point location, the at least one authorized transaction point location being associated with transaction object information provided via the end-user equipment; comparing the service point location to each of the at least one authorized transaction point location; and performing an action related to validation of the online transaction based on a result of the comparing. Also provided is an apparatus for implementing this method.
Modification of local logs by enterprise hub
An enterprise hub receives a first local log from a first transaction delivery system of a first media outlet, and a second local log from a second transaction delivery system of a second media outlet The local logs represents media items scheduled for delivery by the media outlets. The enterprise hub also receives a first avail claim, to be inserted into both the first local log and the second local log, from a first content provider. The enterprise hub inserts the first avail claim into the first local log to generate a first revised log, and into the second local log to generate a second revised log. The first and second revised logs are transmitted from the enterprise hub to the corresponding first or second media outlet.
Systems and methods for automated mass media commerce
Systems and methods for implementing point of advertising purchasing include using mass media publications configured for or containing service, product or vendor transmittable signals, such as from radio frequency identification tags. In a preferred arrangement, a consumer perceiving an advertisement of the mass media publication may activate a reader in a portable communications device, such as a smart mobile or cellular phone, to receive information from the radio frequency signal associated with the advertisement to identify a vendor, product or service associated with the radio frequency identification. The smart mobile phone or communications device of the consumer may communicate with a system of a vendor or vendors by way of a commerce data organization system across a network to order a product or product information from a system of the vendor over the network by using the information from the radio frequency identification.
