SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CODE DISPLAY AND USE
Embodiments of the present invention relate to systems and methods that allow users to use their communication devices to perform transactions (e.g., payment transactions, access transactions, etc.). To complete a transaction, a resource provider electronically generates a code representing transaction data and displays it on an access device. The user scans the code with his or her communication device using a camera associated with the communication device, for example. The code is interpreted by an application on the communication device. The user may request and receive a token at the communication device corresponding to sensitive information selected to perform the transaction (e.g., a primary account number). The user may then provide the token and the transaction data via the communication device to a server computer, which may facilitate completion of the transaction between the user and the resource provider using the transaction data and the token.
System and method for tracking purchases
A novel method for obtaining transaction information includes receiving a first transaction record including data indicative of one or more products purchased by a first purchaser from a first merchant, storing the data included in the first record, receiving a second transaction record including electronic data indicative of one or more products purchased by the purchaser from a second merchant, storing the data included in the second record, and providing the first purchaser access to the first transaction record and the said second transaction record. The method is performed on a handheld device which is carried by the first purchaser. A point-of-sale system is also disclosed and includes: a processing, a product interface operative to receive product data, memory operative to store a first transaction record, and a transaction record interface operative to output electronic data indicative of the first transaction record.
TRANSACTION TOKEN ISSUING AUTHORITIES
Systems, methods, apparatus, processes, computer program code and means for conducting transactions are described which allow a first party to a transaction to identify a second party to a transaction.
MERCHANT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR ADAPTIVE PRICING
Systems and methods including one or more processing modules and one or more non-transitory storage modules storing computing instructions configured to run on the one or more processing modules and perform acts of determining a prospective product for a user to add to an cart, identifying a prospective cart merchant group that includes prospective merchants that offer the prospective product, determining a prospectively-unlocked product group that includes a plurality of products offered by the prospective merchants that are discounted if the prospective product is added to the electronic cart, determining a savings score for the prospectively-unlocked product group, and coordinating displaying to the user on the website of the online retailer (1) the prospective product and (2) the savings score of the prospectively-unlocked product group.
Automatic virtual phone number pool management
Methods, systems, and apparatus include computer programs encoded on a computer-readable storage medium for dynamic contact information assignment. A method includes: identifying a pool of telephone numbers; assigning the telephone numbers to a pool manager; allocating by the pool manager, subsets of the telephone numbers to a plurality of allocators, each allocator responsible for allocating telephone numbers to an associated group of content sponsors; determining a first allocation of a first subset, the first allocation being distributed among the content sponsors associated with a first allocator, creating first pools each associated with a respective one of the content sponsors associated with the first allocator; reclaiming one or more telephone numbers from a pool of the first pools; and assigning ones of the reclaimed telephone numbers by the first allocator into either other pools of the first pools or back to the pool manager for allocation to other allocators.
Content item impression effect decay
When a content item is initially served to a client device, the content item may result in an impression effect. As time elapses, the initial impression may fade. Such a decay of the impression effect may be predicted through the use of a predictive model. In some implementations, one or more impression effect parameters may be accessed and used with the predictive model to determine a decay factor or predicted value that incorporates the impression effect decay for a content item. A value, such as a score, may be determined based on the decay factor or the predicted value and a bid associated with a content item. A content item may be selected based on the determined value and data to effect presentation of the content item may be provided.
USER INTERFACE ELEMENT FOR SURFACING RELATED RESULTS
Disclosed are various embodiments for editable search. A computing device displays a term on a network page. The computing device then displays a search result on the network page, wherein the search result is related to the term. Later, the computing device displays an alternative term in response to a selection of the term. The computing device then sends a search query to a remote application executing on a remote computing device in response to a selection of the alternative term, wherein the search query includes the alternative term. The computing device subsequently updates the search result on the network page with a new search result related to the alternative term.
SECURE MULTI-FACTOR TOKENIZATION-BASED PUSH/RESPONSE COMMERCE PLATFORM
Example methods, apparatuses, and systems are presented that allows a user to make a secure purchase online, directly through accessing an online advertisement and without being redirected to multiple, cumbersome webpages to process different pieces of information to complete the transaction, while still leveraging existing e-commerce entities, such as existing payment platforms and existing ad/content networks. The present system includes a commerce ads engine (CA engine) that interfaces with the user through an app associated with the CA engine, a tokenization platform for authentication of the user, and a merchant providing relevant offer and check out information about a product being advertised in an online ad. The present system integrates new information embedded into online advertisements that interfaces with the CA engine and allows for the user to reliably provide authentication while purchasing the desired product, and without accessing or being redirected to multiple websites as is conventionally done.
Systems and methods for automated mass media commerce
Systems and methods for implementing point of advertising purchasing include using mass media publications configured for or containing service, product or vendor transmittable signals, such as from radio frequency identification tags. In a preferred arrangement, a consumer perceiving an advertisement of the mass media publication may activate a reader in a portable communications device, such as a smart mobile or cellular phone, to receive information from the radio frequency signal associated with the advertisement to identify a vendor, product or service associated with the radio frequency identification. The smart mobile phone or communications device of the consumer may communicate with a system of a vendor across a network to order a product or product information from a system of the vendor over the network by using the information from the radio frequency identification.
Methods and systems for selecting accounts and offers in payment transactions
Embodiments provide systems, methods, processes, computer program code and means for using mobile devices to conduct payment transactions at merchant locations including brick and mortar locations and remote locations as well as for person to person transactions.
