Method and system for providing offers for automated retail machines via mobile devices
A mobile device with a display, processor(s), and memory: displays promotional offers; detects a user input selecting one of the promotional offers; and initiates performance of a transaction with an automatic retail machine to purchase a product stocked by the automatic retail machine. The mobile device also: receives a transaction completion notification from the payment module indicating that the product corresponding to the selected promotional offer was vended by the automatic retail machine; and, in response to receiving the transaction completion notification, provides a prompt to the user of the mobile device to obtain a product code for the vended product to validate the promotional offer. The mobile device further: obtains the product code for the vended product; transmits the product code to the server; and, in response: receives promotion validation information from the server; and displays the promotion validation information indicating whether the respective promotion offer was validated.
ELECTRONIC APPARATUS AND CONTROLLING METHOD THEREOF
An electronic apparatus is disclosed. The electronic apparatus includes a communicator configured to communicate with a display apparatus; a storage configured to store purchase history information; and a processor configured to control the communicator to transmit advertisement information which is determined based on the purchase history information to the display apparatus, wherein the processor is further configured to receive first characteristic information corresponding to a first image displayed on the display apparatus from the display apparatus through the communicator, determine whether the first image is related to payment for a product purchase based on the received first characteristic information, and if the first image is related to payment for a product purchase, update the purchase history information.
Automatic virtual phone number pool management
Methods, systems, and apparatus include computer programs encoded on a computer-readable storage medium for dynamic contact information assignment. A method includes: identifying a pool of telephone numbers; assigning the telephone numbers to a pool manager; allocating by the pool manager, subsets of the telephone numbers to a plurality of allocators, each allocator responsible for allocating telephone numbers to an associated group of content sponsors; determining a first allocation of a first subset, the first allocation being distributed among the content sponsors associated with a first allocator, creating first pools each associated with a respective one of the content sponsors associated with the first allocator; reclaiming one or more telephone numbers from a pool of the first pools; and assigning ones of the reclaimed telephone numbers by the first allocator into either other pools of the first pools or back to the pool manager for allocation to other allocators.
APPARATUS, METHOD AND ARTICLE FOR RESERVING POWER STORAGE DEVICES AT RESERVING POWER STORAGE DEVICE COLLECTION, CHARGING AND DISTRIBUTION MACHINES
A network of collection, charging and distribution machines collect, charge and distribute portable electrical energy storage devices (e.g., batteries, supercapacitors or ultracapacitors). Locations of collection, charging and distribution machines having available charged portable electrical energy storage devices are communicated to or acquired by a mobile device of a user, or displayed on a collection, charging and distribution machine. The locations are indicated on a graphical user interface on a map on a user's mobile device relative to the user's current location. The user may use their mobile device select particular locations on the map to reserve an available portable electrical energy storage device. The system nay also warn the user that the user is near an edge of the pre-determined area having portable electrical energy storage device collection, charging and distribution machines. Reservations may also be made automatically based on information regarding a potential route of a user.
Methods, systems and devices for merged images and fee generation in online retail
An e-commerce method involves on-line viewing of a first article through a linking node for virtual merging on another structure. A particular application of the invention is directed to on-line apparel shopping involving a color matching scheme using color codes provided with images to be merged. For example, on-line viewing of one article, such as clothing, on another structure, includes creating an item from image-data corresponding to a colored article selected by an on-line viewer from an on-line viewer site with an image of a colored structure selected by the on-line viewer, and indicating whether the colored article and the colored structure satisfy a color-matching criterion.
Viewing images for review in merged image form and with parameter-based image processing
A method involves on-line viewing of a first article through a linking node for virtual merging on another structure. A particular application of the invention is directed to on-line apparel shopping involving a matching scheme using codes provided with images to be merged. For example, on-line viewing of one article, such as clothing, on another structure, includes creating an item from image-data corresponding to an article selected by an on-line viewer from an on-line viewer site with an image of a structure selected by the on-line viewer, and indicating whether the article and the structure satisfy a category-matching criterion. In certain embodiments, the articles are represented by (search) parameters that permit organizational advantages.
Location-Based Content Aggregation and Distribution
In one embodiment, a method includes storing one or more content postings that each include data representative of one or more content instances, where each content posting is associated with one or more first users and each content posting is associated with a geographic location corresponding to a content creation event of the content posting. The method also includes selectively sending one or more of the content postings for display on an access device based on a past or present geographic location of the access device, where the access device is associated with a second user and for each content posting selectively sent for display on the access device, the geographic location associated with the content posting being within a predefined proximity of the past or present geographic location of the access device is requisite to the content posting being sent for display on the access device.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING ALERT MESSAGES RELATED TO SUSPICIOUS TRANSACTIONS
Systems and methods are provided for providing alerts to a user. The systems and methods may include a financial service provider including a memory device storing instructions. The financial service provider may also include at least one processor configured to execute the instructions to perform a plurality of operations. The operations may include receiving data relating to an activity of a user. The operations may also include identifying a merchant based at least on the received data. The operations may also include accessing historical fraud or disputes data associated with at least one of the user and the merchant. The operations may also include determining whether the received data triggers an alert. The operations may further include sending an alert message to a user device associated with the user when the processor determines that the received data triggers the alert.
Methods, systems and devices for retail website linking and image merging
An e-commerce method involves on-line viewing of a first article through a linking node for virtual merging on another structure.
