Hierarchical device relationships for geolocation-based transactions
Techniques for providing friction-free transactions using geolocation and user identifiers are described herein. These techniques may ascertain a user's location based on a location of a mobile device. A transaction between the user and a merchant may be completed with zero or minimal input from the user based on the geolocation of the mobile device and the user identifiers. In some implementations, a transaction initiated earlier is completed when the mobile device arrives at the merchant. Additionally, a parent-child or similar relationship may be established between multiple devices. Security on the mobile device based may be provided by biometric identification and calculation of variance from regular movement patterns. Advertisements may be sent to the mobile device based on bids from merchants near to the mobile device. Promotions may be sent to the mobile device when more than a threshold number of mobile devices are located at the same merchant.
Systems and methods for providing offers using a mobile device
A wireless device is enabled to provide offers. The wireless device receives card data for a financial account card and stores the card data in a memory associated with the wireless device. Responsive to using the card data in a transaction at a first merchant location, the wireless device receives transaction line-item data from a computing system associated with the first merchant location. The wireless device determines merchant information for a second merchant location and determines an offer associated with the second merchant location based on the line-item data and the merchant information for the second merchant. The wireless device presents the offer when the wireless device is near the second merchant location.
DETERMINING ITEM RECOMMENDATIONS FROM MERCHANT DATA
Techniques for providing items recommendations based on a state of a merchant device are described. For example, a determination of whether or not a merchant device is in an online mode or an offline mode may be made. When it is determined that the merchant device is in the online mode, a recommendation that is received for the current transaction may be presented. When it is determined that the merchant device is in the offline mode, a recommendation that is previously received may be presented. In other examples, other types of recommendations may be presented.
Location based content aggregation and distribution
In one embodiment, a method includes storing one or more content postings that each include data representative of one or more content instances. Each content posting is associated with one or more first users. The method also includes storing one or more data records associating one or more geographic locations with accessing of the content instances. The method also includes selectively sending one or more of the content postings for display on an access device associated with a second user based on a past or present geographic location of another access device associated with the second user.
Aggregator system having a platform for engaging mobile device users
Methods and systems are presented for attracting and engaging a user for a merchant system. A selectable option associated with the merchant system is displayed on a client device associated with a user. An indication of a user selection of the selectable option is received, and a content page is provided to the client device in response to the indication. Customer relationship management (CRM) information associated with the user of the client device is received from a carrier system associated with the client device. A transaction is processed for the user on behalf of the merchant system, based on the CRM information, and data associated with the user and the transaction are output to the merchant system.
MOVIE ADVERTISING PLAYBACK SYSTEMS AND METHODS
An ad in a movie can be a static ad having a position in the movie that cannot be moved, or a dynamic ad having a position in the movie that can be changed. When a viewer wishes to skip a portion of the movie containing the ad, the playback system determines whether the ad is static or dynamic. If the ad is static, only the portion of the movie preceding the static ad can be skipped; the ad is unskippable. This technique is referred to as bounceback since the end of the skip bounces back to the start of the static ad. If the ad is dynamic, it is moved to after the end of the skip. This technique is referred to as slip-ad since the ad slips to later in the movie. When a movie has multiple ads, some can be static and some can be dynamic.

SYSTEM AND METHOD OF SECURE CONTENT DISTRIBUTION
Exemplary embodiments of methods and systems of incentivized advertising are presented. A content identifier identifying a digital content item, such as a song, is displayed on a user computing device. The digital content item is typically of the type available for a purchase price by the general public. A selection icon is provided in visual association with the content identifier. If the icon is selected by the user, an advertisement media item, such as a video advertisement, is presented on the user computing device. If the advertisement media item is presented for at least a requisite ad impression period, the digital content item is imparted to the user for free. Follow-up ad engagement views are typically presented to the user with a button to redeem the earned digital content item. Administrator and server elements are configured to facilitate performance of the method, and to optimize efficient use of advertiser's budget.
Email-based e-commerce
An email payment gateway having electronic commerce (e-commerce) system may send advertisement emails to customers that are registered with the e-commerce system. The advertisement emails may include mailto hyperlinks. Each mailto hyperlink may be associated with a product that is being offered for sale, and each mailto hyperlink describes an email message that may be generated when that hyperlink is selected. When a mailto hyperlink is selected, the generated email message may include one or more parameters related to the product associated with the hyperlink, such as an identifier of the product. The generated email message may then be transmitted to the e-commerce system. The e-commerce system may receive the message and, based on the parameters in the received message, execute a transaction to purchase the identified product on behalf of the customer.
SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING HIGH VOLUME SEARCH AND RECOMMENDATION PAGES AND METHOD THEREFOR
A system and method for providing an eCommerce provider with the ability to efficiently determine, retrieve, and compile rollup information from each vendor using the eCommerce provider is presented. Event are monitored to set a trigger when the event occurs. A rollup can be initiated regarding the item in question. Price and shipping information from each vendor of a particular item is collected and tabulated. Each item from each vendor can be verified to determine if any information is missing or is otherwise incorrect. The offerings from each vendor is ranked by a variety of different criteria. When the item in question is displayed to a user, the vendor being displayed is based on the ranking. Other embodiments also are disclosed.
