SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING OFFERS USING A MOBILE DEVICE
A wireless device is enabled to provide offers. The wireless device receives card data for a financial account card and stores the card data in a memory associated with the wireless device. Responsive to using the card data in a transaction at a first merchant location, the wireless device receives transaction line-item data from a computing system associated with the first merchant location. The wireless device determines merchant information for a second merchant location and determines an offer associated with the second merchant location based on the line-item data and the merchant information for the second merchant. The wireless device presents the offer when the wireless device is near the second merchant location.
Determining item recommendations from merchant data
A service provider may receive transaction information from a plurality of merchant devices for a plurality of point of sale (POS) transactions conducted between buyers and merchants. The service provider associates the transaction information with respective buyer profiles. The service provider may subsequently receive an indication of a first item selected by a particular buyer for a current POS transaction being conducted with a particular merchant. The service provider may determine a particular buyer profile to associate with the current transaction. Based at least in part on the particular buyer profile or the other buyer profiles, the service provider may determine a second item that has been purchased frequently together with the first item. The service provider sends a communication to the particular merchant to indicate that the particular merchant may wish to offer the second item to the particular buyer for inclusion in the current transaction.
Method of ranking and displaying certified content
A social media platform and method for displaying and ranking content from an individual user against content from other users. The method prompts the individual user to input user-generated information; receives the user-generated information; acquires related information; receives at least one visual recording related to the user-generated information; associates the user-generated information, the related information, and the captured visual recording to create a user single trophy entry in a remote database; ranks the user single trophy entry relative to a plurality of single trophy entries in the remote database to determine a relative rank; and displays the user single trophy entry with the determined rank. The social media platform displays and ranks trophies taken by a plurality of users utilizing a database, a ranking module, and an output module.
APPARATUS, METHOD AND ARTICLE FOR REDISTRIBUTING POWER STORAGE DEVICES, SUCH AS BATTERIES, BETWEEN COLLECTION, CHARGING AND DISTRIBUTION MACHINES
A network of collection, charging and distribution machines collect, charge and distribute portable electrical energy storage devices. To charge, the machines employ electrical current from an external source. As demand at individual collection, charging and distribution machines increases or decreases relative to other collection, charging and distribution machines, a distribution management system initiates redistribution of portable electrical energy storage devices from one collection, charging and distribution machine to another collection, charging and distribution machine in an expeditious manner. Also, redeemable incentives are offered to users to return or exchange their portable electrical energy storage devices at selected collection, charging and distribution machines within the network to effect the redistribution.
INTELLIGENT SELECTION OF TRANSACTION PROCESSING TECHNOLOGY AVAILABLE AT A MERCHANT LOCATION
There are provided systems and methods for intelligent selection of transaction processing technology available at a merchant location. A user may visit a merchant location and desire to purchase items from the merchant at the merchant location. The user may have options for one or more payment instruments to use at the merchant location, including payment applications with a mobile communication device. A payment provider may detect the location of the user and determine that the user's location matches the merchant's location through a geo-fenced area for the merchant. The payment provider may then configure a payment process for the user to utilize at the merchant location using payment mechanisms accepted at the merchant location. Where multiple merchants are located nearby, the payment provider may utilize additional known information for the user to select the most likely merchant for the user.
AUTOMATIC SYNCHRONIZATION OF A DEVICE FOR TRANSACTION PROCESSING BASED ON GEO-FENCED LOCATIONS
There are provided systems and methods for automatic synchronization of a device for transaction processing based on geo-fenced locations. A merchant may geo-fence an area corresponding to the merchant's location where a user may visit to purchase an item. The merchant may provide multiple transaction processing and payment options at the merchant location, including payment applications with a mobile communication device. A payment provider may detect the location of the user and determine that the user's location matches the merchant's location through the geo-fenced area for the merchant. The payment provider may then configure a payment process for the user to utilize at the merchant location using payment mechanisms accepted at the merchant location. Where multiple merchants are located nearby, the payment provider may utilize additional known information for the user to select the most likely merchant for the user.
Image capture and identification system and process
A digital image of the object is captured and the object is recognized from plurality of objects in a database. An information address corresponding to the object is then used to access information and initiate communication pertinent to the object.
SERVER-ASSISTED PAIRING FOR WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS
A wireless communication device such as a payment reader has a wireless communication interface and is able to establish wireless pairing with an interactive electronic device such as a merchant device running a point of sale application. In order to establish pairing, the wireless communication device accesses an identifier. The identifier is transmitted to the interactive electronic device via the wireless communication interface, and the interactive electronic device sends the identifier to a pairing server. The pairing server retrieves a passkey based on the identifier and sends the retrieved passkey to the interactive electronic device via a secure connection. The wireless communication device and the interactive electronic device establish wireless pairing based on the retrieved passkey.

The wireless device presents the offer when the wireless device is near the second merchant location.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PRESENTING A PROMOTIONAL OFFER BASED ON DETECTED DATA
A method and system for presenting a promotional offer based on detected data. Data that is generated by at least one device detecting one or more physical actions performed by a person is obtained. The device is located in a same physical environment as the person. The data is analyzed to determine that a probability of an undesired action, by the person, is above a threshold value. Responsive to determining that the probability of the undesired action is above the threshold value, a promotional offer is presented to the person. The promotional offer lowers the probability of the undesired action by the person.
