Ensuring a desired distribution of content in a multimedia document for different demographic groups utilizing demographic information

A method, system and computer program product for ensuring a desired distribution of images in a multimedia document among different demographic groups. Demographic criteria (e.g., age) is received to form demographic groups of members of an organization. Demographic information along with interests of the members are retrieved. Such member data is analyzed within the constraints of the demographic criteria to generate a statistical distribution of members of the organization that forms an initially desired distribution of content of the multimedia document among the demographic groups of the organization. An indication is then provided to the user regarding whether the current distribution of the content of the multimedia document among the demographic groups of the organization satisfies or does not satisfy the desired distribution of content among the demographic groups. In this manner, the user can ensure a desired distribution of content in the multimedia document among different demographic groups.

AUTOMATICALLY CALCULATING PROPOSED CONTENT DISPLAYS WITH FORECASTED RESULTS

In an embodiment, a reservation server runs a reservation service that allows users of diner clients to reserve reservations with one or more restaurants. In addition, the reservation server runs a self-serve promotion service that restaurant clients to request automatic or semi-automatic generation of content displays for promotions. In some cases, the reservation server uses statistics to predict future periods of time when covers for a restaurant will be below average. The reservation server then automatically generates a promotion that is likely to increase covers during the previously predicted future periods of time. In response to the promotion being selected by a user, the reservation server generates a content display that is subsequently published to the reservation service. As a result, the content display is presented to users of the diner clients when searching for criteria satisfied by the restaurant.

Techniques for simulating performance of a content delivery campaign are provided. In one technique, multiple entities that satisfy one or more criteria associated with a content delivery campaign are identified. For each entity, multiple content item selection events in which that entity participated are identified and data associated with each of the content item selection events are aggregated to generate aggregated data. The aggregated data associated with each entity is combined to generate combined aggregated data. The combined aggregated data is adjusted based on an actual performance value of the content delivery campaign to generate adjusted aggregated data. In response to receiving input, determining, based on the adjusted aggregated data and the input, a simulated performance of the content delivery campaign.

Methods and systems for providing information associated with a location history of a mobile device to one or more applications are disclosed. A mobile device generates one or more location history records based on one or more locations of the mobile device, each location history record comprising one or more points of interest and a duration at the one or more points of interest, receives an information request from at least one application, determines a subset of the one or more location history records that meet criteria from the information request, determines a level of permission for the at least one application based on the information request and the subset of the one or more location history records, and provides information associated with the subset of the one or more location history records to the at least one application based on the level of permission.

METHOD TO MAXIMIZE MESSAGE SPREADING IN SOCIAL NETWORKS AND FIND THE MOST INFLUENTIAL PEOPLE IN SOCIAL MEDIA
20180315083 · 2018-11-01 ·

A method is provided to maximize the spreading of information in social networks. The method identifies the most influential nodes by introducing a ranking method based on collective behavior of nodes in a social network. The method is then used to identify the minimal set of such nodes that are able to spread information in the network.

For example, on-line viewing of one article, such as clothing, on another structure, includes creating an item from image-data corresponding to an article selected by an on-line viewer from an on-line viewer site with an image of a structure selected by the on-line viewer, and indicating whether the article and the structure satisfy a category-matching criterion. In certain embodiments, the articles are represented by (search) parameters that permit organizational advantages.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR EVALUATING USER PERSONA DATA

A method and an apparatus are provided. Distribution information in a first attribute dimension is acquired from a persona data collection of users who use a network service. The persona data collection includes persona data sets corresponding to the users. An evaluation data collection to match the distribution information in the first attribute dimension is extracted from a sample data collection that is collected from sample users. The sample data collection includes sample data sets corresponding to the sample users. Further, a level of accuracy of the persona data collection in a second attribute dimension is determined based on the evaluation data collection in the second attribute dimension.
