System and method for attributing multi-channel conversion events and subsequent activity to multi-channel media sources
This paper presents a practical method for measuring the impact of multiple marketing events on sales, including marketing events that are not traditionally trackable. The technique infers which of several competing media events are likely to have caused a given conversion. The method is tested using hold-out sets, and also a live media experiment for determining whether the method can accurately predict television-generated web conversions.

An exemplary method may include retrieving web entries from a database and generating a plurality of candidates based on the retrieved web entries, where each web entry of the web entries is a clickable item that is displayed on the one or more user interfaces. Additionally, provide the plurality of candidates for display on the one or more user interfaces and determine click-through rates for each of the plurality of candidates. Thereafter, create a display pool of candidates to display from plurality of candidates based on the click-through rates and update the display pool of candidates responsive to retrieving additional web entries from the database.
Customization of message delivery time based on consumer behavior
A system and method is provided for determining when an electronic correspondence is reviewed by a consumer, and referencing this information when generating a subsequent electronic correspondence. The information may be used to determine when to send the subsequent electronic correspondence to the consumer. For example, the subsequent correspondence may be sent at the same time of day as when the consumer is determined to have previously reviewed an electronic correspondence. The information may also be used to determine what to include in the subsequent electronic correspondence. For example, time-sensitive promotions that are selected based on the information identifying the previous time at which the consumer reviewed a previous electronic correspondence, may be included in the subsequent electronic correspondence.
Method and system for deploying arrangements of payloads based upon engagement of website visitors
A digital brand asset system is provided enabling a brand owner to create, distribute, maintain, manage, merchandise and analyze smart brand assets. The system enables distribution and sharing of smart brand assets across the websites. The websites can host webpages containing codes representing the smart brand assets. When a user device retrieves a webpage from one of the websites and renders the webpage, it executes the codes and requests the content of the smart brand assets from a brand asset server. Through the brand asset server, a brand owner can control the content and the presentation of the smart brand asset hosted by the websites, based on various factors such as previous click through rates, aggregated shopper behaviors, geographical locations of the websites or website visitors, categorized types of websites, blacklist of websites.

Target and demo audience rating estimates are acquired based on the target and demo applicable to the advertiser for the plurality of networks, and a distribution of the audience spots generated across the plurality of selling title-weeks, and networks based on the target audience rating estimates, a budget for the pending deal, the generated rates, and available inventory per selling title-weeks, and a proposal generated based on the distribution. An audience processor schedules audience spots across one or more networks for selling title-weeks based on the distribution.
Associating anonymous information with personally identifiable information in a non-identifiable manner
The present disclosure provides a detailed description of techniques used in methods, systems, and computer program products for associating anonymous information with personally identifiable information without sharing any personally identifiable information. A method receives a specification record comprising one or more specified demographic attributes to be used in user record selection operations, the results of which operations include user records that comprise a user identifier and at least some non-personally-identifiable information. A candidate group is formed by applying a set of rules over the retrieved user records to exclude one or more user records that comprise mutually-exclusive characteristics with respect to the other user records in the candidate group. An anonymity measure is calculated over the candidate group to satisfy a threshold of anonymity. If needed to satisfy the threshold of anonymity, additional user records are added to the group before any sharing operations. Anonymity of the users is preserved.

A computer-implemented method of using the Internet to promote goods and services and connect merchants with potential purchasers in chat groups who wish to obtain suitable sources of goods and services is provided, wherein a plurality of users each have a computer device provided with chat application software and software for accessing and interactively communicating via a computer network with a server provided with a search engine for searching the Internet. Users initiate a chat conversation among a group of users. One of the users invokes a search application using the search engine. The user conducts a search of the Internet for products or services, reviews the results of the search, selects a product or service located by the search, and shares the selected search result with the chat conversation. One of the users can order the selected product or service as part of the process.
Filtering machine for sponsored content
A filtering machine receives sponsored content and filters the sponsored content according to a quality metric generated by quality model circuitry and assigned to the instance of sponsored content. The quality model circuitry generates the quality metric in accordance with historical feedback received about other sponsored content and a collection of quality factors pertaining to the sponsored content. Based on the quality metric for the sponsored content, the filtering machine can effect service of the sponsored content to a user device for display thereon.
Iteratively improving an advertisement response model
There are provided systems and methods for iteratively improving an advertisement response model. A payment provider may perform operations that include training an advertisement response model using a training data set. The operations include determining that a first accuracy value corresponding to the advertisement response model is less than a accuracy value threshold. The operations further include identifying, based on executing the advertisement response model using a target data set that is different from the training data set, one or more units from the target data set for which to run the advertising campaign. The operations also include receiving one or more responses corresponding to a run of the advertising campaign with respect to the identified one or more units from the target data set and updating the training data set based on the one or more responses. The operations further include training an advertisement response model using resulting training data and repeating the operations as long as the accuracy value of the resulting model stays below the threshold or until the increase in the accuracy value with each iteration becomes unprofitable with respect to the costs of acquiring responses from further units from the target dataset.
System and method for redeeming a reward
Systems and methods for redeeming a reward held by an individual are described. A method for redeeming a reward includes determining threshold criteria for provision of a targeted reward redemption offer, identifying at least one individual based upon the threshold criteria, determining the targeted reward redemption offer, and providing the targeted reward redemption offer to the identified individual. A response to the provided targeted reward redemption offer may be received, and an account of the identified individual may be adjusted in accordance with the targeted reward redemption offer and the received response.
