Systems and methods are presented for managing the cadence (e.g., frequency or rate) that electronic promotion correspondence is sent to a consumer. PREDICTIVE ANALYTICS SYSTEM
The invention is a predictive analysis system. The predictive analysis system analyzes one or more sensed signals automatically to predict various sensor states, or otherwise generate one or more actionable predicted tasks. The system is comprised of one or more sensors and/or processors coupled to a network. Sensor signals may indicate safety or power conditions for urgent or emergency response, or device configuration such as a locked door or turned on coffee pot. A sensor array is installable in residential or commercial structures to sense residential or building real-time conditions or embodied in vehicle or remote application accessible for mobile sensing. Further, the predictive analysis system uses sensor states to predict the needs of proximate individuals and delivers targeted advertisements according to the needs of the individuals.

This disclosure describes techniques for identifying most influential customers by determining various influence scores and metrics associated with each in-network customer and off-network customers that communicate with one or more in-network customers. A particular in-network customer can be assigned or have calculated for him or her a social media influence score, a voice call score, and an SMS score, and a particular off-network customer can be assigned or have calculated for him or her an acquisition score. The disclosed systems and methods provide a real-time (or near real-time) push notification delivery framework. The disclosed systems and methods enable the delivery of personalized, location and/or temporally sensitive breaking news to users' devices. The disclosed systems and methods leverage the explosion of social data, expert knowledge and user feedback, all available on-line, to deliver breaking (or trending) news stories to users in a personalized, location and/or temporally sensitive manner.
SELECTING A THIRD PARTY WEBSITE ON WHICH AN ACTION ASSOCIATED WITH A CONTENT ITEM MAY BE PERFORMED
An online system receives a request from an online system user to present a content item associated with an action that may be performed on a third party website not associated with the user. The online system identifies a set of third party websites on which the action may be performed based on information provided by content publishers associated with the websites describing performances of the action on the websites. The online system predicts a likelihood a viewing user of the online system presented with the content item will perform the action on each third party website based on the information provided by the content publishers and selects a website associated with a highest predicted likelihood the viewing user will perform the action on the website. The online system generates the content item including a link to the selected website and provides the content item for presentation.
Method and apparatus for delivering targeted content to website visitors
A method of selecting a website for delivery of targeted content to an audience member computer based on attitude values associated with audience members who participate in a computer implemented survey is disclosed. The survey response information, as well as website visitation information, and demographic information associated with the audience members may be collected and stored in a central database. An attitude value may be determined from the survey response information and/or the other information for the audience members. The attitude value may indicate the audience member's view about an issue, topic, product, service or the like. The attitude value in conjunction with other website visitation information may be used to select a website for delivery of the targeted content to the audience members.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CONTENT-VIRALITY AMPLIFICATION
A method and apparatus for inducing expansion of audience of source contents posted in a social medium are disclosed. Upon posting the source contents, spontaneous audience are detected and content-coupled audience are determined; the content-coupled audience and the spontaneous audience are users of the social medium that accessed common contents, or contents of a common class, other than the source contents. A set of content-coupled audience is pruned to determine a set of prospective audience. Information relevant to the source contents is disseminated to the prospective audience resulting in audience gain. Processes of iterative-recursive exploration of multi-stratum content coupling are performed to further enhance the audience gain. An apparatus implementing the method may employ a single processor or multiple processors operating concurrently and exchanging intermediate results through commonly accessed buffers. Several variations of the method applying different criteria for pruning commonly-accessed content as well as content-coupled audience are disclosed.
