20170337568 · 2017-11-23 ·

Embodiments of the present invention provide a data processing method, system, and computer device based on electronic payment behaviors. The method includes: acquiring log information formed by users' Internet-surfing; acquiring consumption information generated by the users' consumption via electronic payment; collecting, from the log information, first user information of users viewing specified content data; collecting, from the consumption information, second user information of users paying for a product or service related to the specified content data; and mapping the first user information with the second user information based on a user information mapping relation database storing multiple pieces of information of the users, to acquire user behavior association data indicating that the first user information and the second user information belong to a same user. The technical solution of the present invention implements an approach of associating Internet-surfing behavior data of users with their consumption behavior data, so that a merchant or user performs specific data mining by using the user behavior association data to acquire more valuable information.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR USING LOCATION DATA TO GENERATE AND MODIFY PURCHASE INCENTIVES

A mobile device generates a purchase incentive for use at a merchant, by analyzing location data (GPS coordinate data or wi-fi location data) to determine its location, receive a selection input by a user of the mobile device that indicates a distance from the location of the mobile device within which the user would like to receive purchase incentives from merchants, determine a merchant within the distance input by the user, and generate a purchase incentive for use by the mobile device at the merchant.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ACCESSING ELECTRONIC DATA VIA A PLURALITY OF ELECTRONIC TAGS
20170337404 · 2017-11-23 ·

The disclosed methods and apparatus relate generally to the use of electronic devices to interact with electronic tags associated with objects, services, places, people, or animals (“objects”) in order to access programming material related to these objects. The invention discloses the input of keywords, phrases, preferences, or interests into a user's device to search a plurality of electronic tags within a given physical range to access programming material from the tags—or via data links provided in the tags—that matches the keywords, phrases, preferences, or interests. Furthermore, the invention locates, maps, and labels the objects associated with this programming material on the user's display.

A method for web browser-based distribution of targeted advertising messages is provided. An advertising party registers with a distributor of targeted advertising messages. An advertising campaign for goods targeting user demographic categories chosen by the advertising party is created, with advertising messages being customized for each category and the advertising messages being stored on a web server of the distributor. The advertising party pays the distributor for the advertising campaign. A user registers with the distributor for receiving advertising messages through a web browser and the user providing user demographic data and value account information at registration. The web browser home page of the user is configured with a user-specific URL corresponding to a set of targeted advertising messages according to the user demographic data. The user opens the browser and views the home page containing a target advertising message of the set of targeted advertising messages according to the user demographic category and the distributor credits the user value account upon the user viewing the advertising message.

CUSTOMER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR DETERMINING AGGREGATE CUSTOMER VALUE

A device may receive information that identifies a customer and that identifies a start date, a zero date, and an end date. The device may determine a historical customer value associated with the customer during a first time period from the start date to the zero date. The device may determine an existing products value projected to be generated by the customer during a second time period from the zero date to the end date. The device may determine a new products value projected to be generated by the customer during the second time period. The device may determine an aggregate customer value associated with the customer based on the historical customer value, the existing products value, and the new products value. The device may transmit, based on the aggregate customer value, a message that causes an action to be performed to benefit the customer.

Press release distribution system

A press release distribution system provides press release and other news to forum sites as posts. The forum software that runs at forum sites includes press release interface software or is adapted to receive press release interface plug-in modules for interfacing with the press release distribution system. The press release interface software or plug-in module may also monitor and/or analyze user data of forum members and/or forum activities of the users. The monitored user data and forum activities may be provided to the press release distribution system for analysis and generation of user profiles. Using the result of the analysis (e.g., user profiles), the press release distribution system can target particular users or forums to direct the press releases, news, or advertisements for most effective advertising campaign.

Route-based information slotting based on predicted acceptance

A processor may generate, based on a predicted route of a user, a timeslot for presenting information to the user. The predicted route may be associated with a route segment, and the timeslot may be associated with the route segment. The processor may match one or more proposals to the timeslot associated with the route segment. The one or more proposals may be matched, at least in part, based on proposal criteria set by a proposal criteria user associated with the proposal. The processor may predict an acceptance potentiality of the user. The processor may select a subset of the one or more proposals. The processor may provide the selected subset of the one or more proposals. The selected subset may be provided, at least in part, based on the acceptance potentiality.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR RECOMMENDATION GENERATION
20230169572 · 2023-06-01 ·

One or more computing devices, systems, and/or methods for generating and providing recommendations of products are provided. For example, content is extracted from a message sent to a user. The content is evaluated to identify a product identifier corresponding to a product title of a product. If the product identifier is a truncated version of the product title, then a database of product titles and frequencies of occurrence of the product titles is used to complete the product title. A model is used to infer a product category for the product title. Matching scores are assigned to products within a product category based upon weighted attributes. A recommendation is provided to the user for a product having a matching score greater than a matching threshold.

In a method for delivering targeted television advertisements based on online behavior, IP addresses indicating online access devices and IP addresses indicating television set-top boxes are electronically associated for a multitude of users. Using user profile information derived from online activity from one of the online access IP addresses, a television advertisement is selected, such as by using behavioral targeting or demographic information, and automatically directed to the set-top box indicated by the set-top IP address associated with that online access IP address. Preferably neither the user profile information nor the electronic association of online access and set-top box IP addresses includes personally identifiable information.

PROMOTING REPRESENTATIONS OF ITEMS TO USERS ON BEHALF OF SELLERS OF THOSE ITEMS

This disclosure describes systems and methods for establishing promotions for sellers and promoting images of items to users on behalf of sellers.
