By providing various menu functions associated with the displayed icons, logos or images, the application combines mobile texting with online search or browsing to provide for a much simpler and more convenient mobile experience.

Methods and systems are described for providing advertising services to devices with a customized adaptive user experience. In one embodiment, a system includes a user interface (UI) configurator to provide a custom scripting framework to create and edit customizable ad formats for display on a device. The ad system receives an ad request from the device with the ad request including different types of information including publisher settings of a selected software application on the device, an application id to identify the selected software application, placement information for timing placement of at least one ad or interstitial ad to be displayed on the device. The ad system processes the ad request to determine an ad format and timing placement of the at least one ad or interstitial ad based on the information contained in the ad request.
SYNTHETIC USER PROFILES AND MONITORING ONLINE ADVERTISEMENTS
Disclosed are systems and methods for monitoring and policing online advertisements. Content of a website is evaluated and assigned a score. The content evaluated may be either first-party content or third-party content or both. If the score fails predetermined criteria, a report is generated. Synthetic user profiles can be generated using a browser (or other software) to visit a number of predetermined or pseudo-random sites and accumulate user-specific data as it visits each of the sites. The browser stores off the accumulated user-specific data in conjunction with a synthetic user profile.

A system can offer a number of web pages to different user groups in an experiment. Each web page can describe respective configurations of an application, and each user group may receive a particular web page based on one or more criteria. An application installer and a resource identifier are transmitted to the client device in response to an installation request. A configuration file is also delivered to the client device based on the resource identifier. The configuration file causes the installation of a particular application configuration on the client device. The application configuration sends telemetry data indicating user retention data to a service. A usage report summarizing the telemetry data is generated and utilized to adjust the criteria for controlling one or more experiments.
Systems and methods for processing and providing transaction affinity profile information
In certain aspects, the disclosed implementations include methods and systems for providing transaction affinity merchant recommendation information performed by transaction affinity platform computing components that execute software stored in a memory. In certain aspects, the disclosed implementations may determine transaction affinity relationship data for transactions associated with a set of account records. Each account record in the set of account records may be associated with a set of users. The disclosed implementations may also determine transaction affinity relationship profiles based on transaction affinity profile parameters that are associated with the transaction affinity relationship data and first transaction data. Further, the disclosed implementations may determine one or more transaction affinity patterns based on the transaction affinity relationship data and the transaction affinity relationship profiles. In certain aspects, the disclosed implementations may further determine transaction affinity merchant recommendation information based on the one or more transaction affinity patterns.
