Collection analysis and use of viewer behavior
Aspects discussed herein relate to systems, apparatuses, and methods to determine when a user remains engaged or stops paying attention to a content item. In response, a snapshot of the user's activity and environment may be obtained to ascertain the reason the user stopped paying attention. If the user stopped paying attention as a result of being uninterested in the content item, the system may replace the content item, such as an advertisement, with a different content item to regain the user's attention. Further, demographic information and the user's interests may be updated for use in scheduling future content items.
Methods, Devices, and Systems for Dynamic Targeted Content Processing
Techniques for dynamic targeted content processing performed at a server including processor(s) and a non-transitory memory are described herein. In some embodiments, the server obtains user content similarity scores between media content items and users and obtains content similarity scores between a targeted content item and the media content items by projecting the targeted content item and the media content items onto a content vector space. The server also identifies a list of media content items on the content vector space based on the content similarity scores, e.g., a respective media content item in the list has a respective content similarity score satisfying a first criterion. The server additionally locates, for the list of media content items, a set of users among the users based on the user content similarity score, e.g., a respective user in the set has a respective user content similarity score satisfying one or more second criteria.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REAL-TIME USER RESPONSE PREDICTION FOR CONTENT PRESENTATIONS ON CLIENT DEVICES
In an aspect, a request to display information on a client device of a user can be received. A plurality of features associated with the request can be extracted. The plurality of features can include at least one feature characterizing the user and at least an additional feature characterizing the client device. A feature vector based on the features associated with the request can be generated. A predicted response value of the user to a content presentation can be generated using a predictive model and the feature vector. The predicted response value can characterize a likelihood of the user interacting with the content presentation. A request response value can be determined based on a content presentation impression value and the feature vector. The request response value and the content presentation can be transmitted for display on the client device of the user.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR THIN EXPLORE/EXPLOIT LAYER FOR PROVIDING ADDITIONAL DEGREE OF FREEDOM IN RECOMMENDATIONS
The present teaching relates to displaying ads. An explore/exploit layer (EEL) is provided at frontend ad serving engine for storing combination distributions with respect to multiple ads. Each ad has multiple attributes. Each attribute can be instantiated using one of multiple assets. The frontend ad serving engine requests a recommended ad for bidding an ad display opportunity in a slot of a webpage viewed by a user on a user device. The recommended ad is one of the multiple ads. When the auction is successful, a combination of assets for the ad is drawn from the combination distributions in EEL and each of the assets instantiates a corresponding attribute of the ad. The combination is transmitted to the user device to render the ad.
Interoperable digital social recorder of multi-threaded smart routed media
Blockchain-enabled crypto asset systems and a Digital Social Recorder system are operable within a computer network environment for allowing a user to control how advertisers access the user's personal data; allowing crypto asset compensation in exchange for social amplification; and tracking asset allocation. Payments made via blockchain tracking, and the distribution of any revenues derived from cost savings provided to terrestrial, satellite or digital radio broadcasters back to music rights holders and other related groups are provided. These rights holders typically like to incentivize consumers, and by using the crypto assets or tokens created by the present invention, a reward for listening/consuming may be provided. Further, payments for industry services to the rights holder are contemplated to include, but not be limited to any Performance Rights Organizations (PROs), Record Labels, Publishing Companies/Administrators, Managers, Agents or any fractional rights holders or owners who would hold claim against any such revenues.
Systems and methods for managing web content
Systems, methods, and media for managing web content. Exemplary methods may include the steps of providing a web content management application via a web site, generating a web marketing campaign from at least a portion of a global marketing framework via a web server, gathering via the web server marketing data from at least one of the web server associated with the web marketing campaign and consumer devices accessing the web marketing campaign, the marketing data including information indicative of interests of consumers, storing the marketing data in a database, associating consumers together according to at least one common interest to create one or more consumer groups, and providing the one or more consumer groups to at least one marketing content author.
Targeting an aggregate group
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer-readable storage medium, for providing content. A method includes receiving a request for an advertisement to be displayed in a slot associated with a third-party content site; identifying a relevant advertisement to be provided in the slot; determining information to be included in an annotation associated with the advertisement, the annotation including customized information to be presented along with the advertisement; providing the advertisement responsive to the request including providing the annotation along with a control for re-publishing the advertisement along with the relevant advertisement; receiving user input selecting the control and designating the advertisement for re-publishing to a group, the group being designated by the user; and targeting additional content to the group based on the received user input.
Method, computing unit and system for token-based information exchange
A method, a computing unit and a system for token-based information exchange between a computing unit of a first entity (400A) and a computing unit of one second entity (400B) are presented. The method comprises obtaining (110) a token set (200A) associated with the first entity (400A) and a token set (200B) associated with the one second entity (400B), clustering (120) the token set (200A) associated with the first entity (400A) into clusters, requesting (130) information on tokens (205, 205A, 205B) from the computing unit of the one second entity (400B), receiving (140) information on said tokens (205, 205 A, 205B) from the computing unit of the one second entity (400B), determining (150) an active cluster associated with the first entity (400A), modifying (160) the token subset (310, 320) associated with the determined active cluster of the first entity (400A) at least partly with information on the received tokens (205, 205A, 205B) associated with the second entity (400B).
Forming and using master records based on consumer transaction data
According to an embodiment, a data processing method comprises obtaining a first record associated with a first computer and a second record associated with a second computer that is different than the first computer; in response to determining that the first record has been obtained from a primary source, determining that at least a first set of key information in the first record matches a second set of key information in the second record, and in response thereto: creating and storing a master record comprising a union of the first record and the second record; using the master record to determine one or more electronic offers to present to any of a user, a computing device, or an account that is associated with the master record.
Systems and Methods for Alternative Adverts
Methods and systems of providing video content are disclosed. A request to view video content is received from a viewer. In response to the request, it is determined whether the viewer has advert-free rights to watch the video content. In response to determining that the viewer does not have the advert-free rights to watch the video content, an alternative advert (AA) query is prepared based on query rules, and the AA query is presented to the viewer. An AA query response to the AA query is received from the viewer. In response to determining that the AA query response is a first response, one or more AA offers are determined and the AA offers are sent to the viewer. The requested video content is streamed to a viewer device of the viewer without adverts.
