The present disclosure describes a method of integrating information, including real-time information, into a virtual thematic environment using a computer system, including accessing the stored information from a database or downloading the real-time information from a source external to the thematic environment; inserting the real-time information into the thematic environment; and displaying the information to a user within the thematic environment. In one embodiment, the computer system is connected to a holographic projection system such that the images from the thematic environment can be projected as holographic projections. The computer system includes an interactive software application platform having at least one thematic/publishing logic module which contains thematic environment rules; and at least one quantum imaging environment (QIE) module which interprets content such that the content is manipulated and accessed by any device.

A method and system for planning and running video-on-demand (VOD) advertising includes a planner for planning advertising campaigns and an ad selector for running selected advertisements from selected ones of the campaigns. The campaigns are associated with household demographic classifications, video content category categories, household geographic locations, and/or video viewing times. In response to a viewer requesting a video, the selector selects the campaigns corresponding to the demographic classification associated with the viewer, the content category of the requested video, the geographic location associated with the viewer, and/or the viewing time at which the requested video is viewed. The demographic classification is determined by using an identifier of the viewer's set-top-box. The selector may select the campaigns corresponding to the content categories of the requested video. The content categories are determined by using an identifier associated with the requested video.

Described are systems and methods for dynamic integration and presentation of advertising content and media content. The method includes receiving a request for media content from a remote computing device and providing, in response to the request, an interactive advertising unit. The interactive advertising unit includes a first content layer including the requested media content and a media player, a second content layer including the advertising content, wherein the advertising content comprises static content and interactive content, an integration module configured to display the requested media content in the media player, and reveal the advertising content in an area extending from a boundary of a playback window of the media player, wherein revealing the advertising content includes moving web page content to accommodate the advertising content. The method includes transmitting the interactive advertising unit for presentation on the remote computing device.
