Advertising impression determination
Systems and methods for verifying an advertisement impression in a digital environment are provided. In some aspects, methods of the subject technology include operations for defining a portion of the digital environment as an impression area, wherein the impression area is associated with a tagged advertisement area, providing a stream of an advertisement to the tagged advertisement area, and updating advertising impression information stored in memory regarding the advertisement, wherein an advertising impression is based on the identification of the character within the impression area and the availability of an unobstructed line-of-sight between the character and the tagged advertisement area. In some aspects, computer readable media are also provided.
ADVERTISING METHOD AND TOOL
An advertising method is provided. The method includes electronically receiving a request from an electronic device of a consumer for advertisement content concerning a particular brand or product, and in response to the request, electronically providing access to the advertisement content concerning the brand or product. The method may include providing a machine-readable optical label in connection with the brand or product at a point of purchase such that the receiving step is accomplished in response to the machine-readable optical label being read by a mobile electronic device of the consumer. Alternatively, an icon in connection with the brand or product at a point of purchase can be provided on an on-line e-commerce site, and the receiving step may be accomplished in response to the icon being selected by the consumer.

A computing platform that analyzes a captured video stream to identify a document depicted in the video stream, validates identification information corresponding to the document to display an information address associated with the document, and that initiates a transaction based on the validation of the identification information associated with the document.
Reminding users of offers
Provided is a computer implemented process for reminding users of offers that were discovered by the user at one location when, at a later time, the user is at another location, the process including: displaying, with a mobile device, an offer and a reminder interface to indicate that the user requests themselves or another reminder recipient to be reminded of the offer when near another computing device of the reminder recipient; receiving an interaction with the reminder interface by the user and, in response, storing a reminder request in memory, the reminder request identifying the offer; obtaining data identifying the other computing device, a geographic area of the other computing device, or a wireless environment of the other computing device; detecting, with a processor of the mobile device, that the reminder recipient has interacted with the other computing device, entered the geographic area, or entered the wireless environment; and in response to the detection, presenting a notification reminding the reminder recipient of the offer.
Hybrid eventing system
A processor can cause a first communication, to a user device, of a first item based on an eventing system being in a first mode, a configuration to cause the eventing system to cause, without a request from the user device, a communication of an item to the user device in response to an entry of the item into a memory. After the first communication, the processor can cause the eventing system to be in a second mode, a configuration to cause the eventing system to refrain from communications of items to the user device. The processor can receive, from the user device, a signal to cause the eventing system to switch from the second mode to the first mode. After receiving the signal, a second item can be entered into the information memory. The processor can cause a second communication, to the user device, of the second item.

Sensory-based delivery of content
Various embodiments of systems and methods allow, in connection with a customized web landing page, a shake to reveal content functionality, wherein an end-user customer provides input, via an electronic device, with respect to predefined categories, and content responsive to the input is determined. The content may include a product or service recommendation and will have one or more sensory aspects pertaining thereto. Upon performance of a triggering action on the end-user device, the device is provided with aural, visual, haptic, or other feedback conveying the sensory aspects. Further, the content is displayed on the device. Varying forms of end-user triggering actions may be performed, and embodiments may use a neural network trained on a data set to generate the recommendations and select content for the end-user.

Method and system consist of a mobile application installed on a mobile device with internet connection and a geographical positioning device; a remote hosting server configured with software and database; an onsite wireless communication hosting apparatus. The mobile application communicates with the remote hosting server and the onsite wireless communication apparatus. The remote hosting server and onsite wireless communication apparatus communicate and transfer data to one another, the remote hosting server communicates with third party databases via secured access and retrieves location related information requested by onsite users of the mobile device. System and method for using social media to target individuals that may be receptive to at least one advertisement
A system and method is provided that allows a first user to identify an advertiser that is of interest to the first user and to communicate this information back to a host device. This information can then be used to target individuals on the network that are in communication with the first user (e.g., their friends) by providing those individuals with advertisements from the identified advertiser. Not only does this get a relevant advertisement before the first user, but it also gets a similar (or same) advertisement before the second user, who may have similar interests. However, in order for the first user to be able to acquire additional information on the advertiser and (separately) express an interest in the advertiser, the advertiser (or related advertisement) must be multi-interactable, or have at least two features that can be interacted with (e.g., clicked on) to trigger a response.
Delivering content
The invention relates to a user device comprising: an output component for outputting media content to a user; computer storage holding a user model of a user, the user model comprising personal information of the user; an input component configured to receive a content identification document identifying pieces of content to be output to the user by the output component: a content modifier configured to modify the document received by the input component based on the user model of the user, the content modifier operable to filter out at least one piece of content identified by the content document to generate a modified identification document, wherein the output component is configured to interpret each piece of content identified in the modified identification document for outputting to the user, wherein the filtered out piece(s) of content is not provided to the user.
