Example instructions cause a machine to at least, based on impression requests from a plurality of client devices via a network, log a plurality of impressions corresponding to media accessed at the client devices; obtain a count of demographic impressions logged by a database proprietor; obtain a count of registered users of the database proprietor exposed to the media; and execute a process to determine a unique audience size by multiplying a count of the plurality of impressions by a square of the count of the registered users to generate a product; dividing the product by the count of the demographic impressions to generate a quotient; and determining the unique audience size based on a square root of the quotient.

A telephony interface module receives an alert enrollment request from a client device. The alert enrollment request is received through a first type of communication channel. A data database management module links the communication endpoint identifier to an opt-in record. A text message interface module communicates, based on the client device identifier being linked to the opt-in record, an alert to the client device through a second type of communication channel. The alert is addressed to the client device based on the communication endpoint identifier linked to the opt-in record.

A system for providing mobile advertisement actions may include a memory to store a request, mobile carrier data, mobile advertisement data, and mobile advertisement action data. The system may include an interface operatively connected to the memory to communicate with a mobile device. The system may include a processor operatively connected to the memory and the interface. The processor may receive information and a request from the mobile device via the interface and may determine the mobile carrier data relating to a mobile carrier associated with the mobile device. The processor may identify the mobile advertisement data and the mobile advertisement action targeted to the request and the mobile carrier data. The processor may append the mobile advertisement action data to the mobile advertisement data. The processor may provide the mobile advertisement data with the appended mobile advertisement action data to the mobile device via the interface.

A social networking system provides a user with a feed of content items associated with other users connected to the user via the social networking system. Additionally, the social networking system identifies additional content items having various characteristics to the user. If the user selects an additional content item, further content items having one or more characteristics matching the selected additional content item are identified and presented to the user along with the additional content item. For example, a size of the selected additional content item is increased and the further content items are presented in a smaller size proximate to the selected additional content item.

A dimensional translator may automatically translate a dimension from an entity to a different dimension of another entity. The dimensional translator may do so by comparing attributes of the input dimension (the dimension to be translated) to attributes of a target data structure. An attribute may include, for example, hierarchy of a data structure, relationships of a data structure, a keyword associated with a data structure, and a data value associated with the data structure. The dimensional translator may automatically determine how a target entity would categorize the item. In particular, a Universal Product Code dimension of an item provided by an entity may be translated into a data structure of a target entity such as a retailer in order to determine how an item identified by the UPC will be categorized by the retailer.

The method also includes receiving proximity information from the shopper mobile computing device indicating a proximity of the shopper mobile computing device in relation to the activated proximity detection device. The method also includes generating the campaign notification message based on the received condition set and the received proximity information and transmitting the campaign notification message to the mobile computing device.
