Systems and Methods for Processing Buyer-Initiated Offer Requests in Near Real-Time
A system and methods to coordinate in near real-time buyer-initiated personalized offer requests for products and services. When a buyer is interested in buying a particular product or service and possibly through a specific seller, buyer specifies to the system desired details of such product, service and seller, and optional personal message. The system presents to buyer a list of available sellers who can respond to offer request. Buyer initiates a request to the system for offer from seller of interest. The system sends selected seller offer request by appending additional appropriate details that can help the seller in making a more informed decision. The seller then analyzes the offer request and related data, and taking into consideration present business and market conditions responds with an appropriate offer in near real-time. The system presents offers from sellers so that the buyer may choose one from the presented offers.
Determining a matching score between users of wearable camera systems
A server and method are provided for determining a matching score related to users of wearable camera systems. In one implementation, a server determines a matching score related to users of wearable camera systems. Each wearable camera system is configured to capture images from an environment of a corresponding user and produce image data from the captured images. At least one processing device associated with the server may be programmed to receive image data from the wearable camera systems. The processing device may further determine a value of a matching score related to at least two users of the wearable camera systems. The value of the matching score may be based on the image data received from the wearable camera systems. The value of the matching score may indicate a level of exposure of the two users to similar visual details in their environments.
Wearable apparatus with wide viewing angle image sensor
A wearable apparatus and method are provided for capturing image data. In one implementation, a wearable apparatus for capturing image data is provided. The wearable apparatus includes at least one image sensor for capturing image data of an environment of a user, wherein a field of view of the image sensor includes a chin of the user. The wearable apparatus includes two or more microphones, and an attachment mechanism configured to enable the image sensor and microphones to be worn by the user. The wearable apparatus includes a processing device programmed to capture at least one image, identify the chin of the user to obtain a location of the chin, select a microphone from the two or more microphones based on the location, process input from the selected microphone using a first processing scheme, and process input from a microphone that is not selected using a second processing scheme.
Transmitting valid coupon offers to an email recipient
An email server sends an email message to a user with an empty container. When the user uses an email client to open the email message, the email client transmits pulls data to be loaded into the empty container from a dynamic content provider. The dynamic content provider determines in real time a set of valid coupon offers for the user and transmits the set to the user in real-time for insertion into the empty container. The dynamic content provider may determine a rank for each of the set of the valid coupon offers, such that the rank is observed when the set of the coupon offers is inserted into the empty container.
Ad payment for physical presence
A computer-implemented method of determining reaction to promotional items includes providing to a mobile device a promotional item associated with a geographic location, determining whether the mobile device is proximate to the geographic location, and charging an advertising account if the mobile device is proximate to the geographic location.
Real-time patron-activity information system
An activity-information system is provided. The system comprises an activity-information server and a plurality of activity-information devices. Activity-information devices may be proprietor devices (e.g., for bar owners/staff), affiliate devices (e.g., for club promoters or taxi drivers), or end-user devices (e.g., for patrons). The activity-information devices provide activity information (such as, a user's location or presence at a venue or within a district) to the activity-information server, which stores the activity information in an activity-information repository. The activity-information server then determines activity levels for venues and districts, which may be transmitted to devices. The activity-information device then may display activity level in an activity-information interface. The activity-information interface may comprise a map with highlighting and icons indicative of activity levels for districts and venues, respectively. In addition, activity-information interface may comprise a display area for display marketing information (such as promotions and coupons) related to venues.
INFORMATION INTERACTION METHOD, SERVER, CLIENT, AND STORAGE MEDIUM AND DEVICE
An information interaction method, a server, and a client are provided. The method includes: receiving speech search information and a history search result sent by a client; in response to determining based on the history search result that the client is loaded with speech interaction data, determining feedback information corresponding to the speech search information based on the loaded speech interaction data; and sending the feedback information to the client, such that the client loads the feedback information.
Wearable apparatus and method for capturing image data using multiple image sensors
A wearable apparatus and method are provided for capturing image data. In one implementation, a wearable apparatus for capturing image data is provided. The wearable apparatus includes a plurality of image sensors for capturing image data of an environment of a user. Each of the image sensors is associated with a different field of view. The wearable apparatus also includes a processing device programmed to process image data captured by at least two of the image sensors to identify an object in the environment. The processing device is also programmed to identify a first image sensor, which has a first optical axis closer to the object than a second optical axis of a second image sensor. After identifying the first image sensor, the processing device is also programmed to process image data from the first image sensor using a first processing scheme, and process image data from the second image sensor using a second processing scheme.
Filtered peer-to-peer business communication in a distributed computer environment
A method for filtered peer-to-peer business communication in a distributed computer environment includes accessing offers associated with one or more offerors and requests associated with one or more requestors, each offer and each request including a set of filter components. Filter components of offers are compared with corresponding filter components of requests to determine whether one or more offers match one or more requests. A match is determined between an offer and a request if the filter components of the offer match the corresponding filter components of the request. In response, at least a matching portion of the offer and request is replicated and communicated to both the offeror associated with the offer and the requestor associated with the request to provide filtered peer-to-peer communication between the offeror and requestor.
Cross-device geolocation sensing to geotarget offers
Provided is a process of distributing offers to non-location-sensing devices based on a geolocation sensed by another device, the process comprising: obtaining a geolocation of a user from a mobile device of the user; associating the geolocation of the user with an identifier of the user in an offers engine; receiving a request for an offer from another computing device of the user, the request including or prompting obtaining data from the other computing device sufficient to identify the user; retrieving the geolocation of the user obtained from the mobile device by identifying the user with the data from the other computing device sufficient to identify the user account; selecting, with the offers engine, a responsive offer based on the geolocation of the user obtained from the mobile device; and sending the responsive offer to the other computing device of the user.
