The advertisement server can communicate with the electronic money card via the browser unit. Thus, the advertisement server reads an electronic money functional unit ID which is ID information of the electronic money card from the electronic money card to store it therein, and further transmits to the user terminal moving image data of the advertisement moving image stored in the advertisement moving image database. While the user terminal is reproducing the advertisement moving image, the advertisement server accesses the electronic money card through the browser unit for every given interval, and confirms that the electronic money card is connected to the reader/writer.

Systems and methods for verifying an advertisement impression in a digital environment are provided. In some aspects, methods of the subject technology include operations for defining a portion of the digital environment as an impression area, wherein the impression area is associated with a tagged advertisement area, providing a stream of an advertisement to the tagged advertisement area, and updating advertising impression information stored in memory regarding the advertisement, wherein an advertising impression is based on the identification of the character within the impression area and the availability of an unobstructed line-of-sight between the character and the tagged advertisement area. A system and method include exposing, via an application programming interface, an advertising identifier to an online advertising network executing by at least one microprocessor of a computing device. The advertising identifier is associated with a user profile and is associated with a set of packaged web applications associated with the user profile. The system automatically restricts the set of packaged web applications from accessing the advertising identifier by sandboxing a process within each of the set of packaged web applications that utilizes the advertising identifier.

Preferably, the advertising database contains information relating to at least one advertisement and the user database is configured to check if the at least one characteristic matches an existing entry for a user, and either associate that impression with a user or create a new entry for the impression.
