Content Distribution System
A content distribution system which utilizes a generated code to distribute related content to a user device. The content distribution system generally includes a user device and a central server which are communicatively interconnected via a communication network. The central server generates a code comprising at least one element in a particular visual arrangement. The generated code is related to content which may be stored on the central server, or may be stored on a content server to which the user device may connect. The user device will transmit a code to the central server. The central server identifies the code as relating to the content and either transmits the content directly to the user device, directs the user device to connect to the content server to retrieve the content, or directs the content server to transmit the content to the user device.
Automatically presenting different user experiences, such as customized voices in automated communication systems
An automated communication system with an associated method for presenting customized voices is disclosed. The system which performs a predetermined task accepts information regarding an intended user indicating the intended user's identity, preferences, etc. Next, the system customizes one or more voices for the intended user based on the accepted information. The system then presents to the intended user one or more audible communications converted from text associated with a predetermined task performed by the system using the one or more customized voices.
Provision of anonymous context information and generation of targeted content
Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed towards selective disclosure of user or computing environment attributes to facilitate generation and/or provision of targeted content. In various embodiments, a likelihood that disclosure of an attribute of a user or of a computing environment associated with the user will enable identification of the user may be determined based on an associated population count of users or computing environments sharing the same attribute. In various embodiments, the attribute may be selectively disclosed to a content provider configured to provide targeted content, or a recommendation may be selectively provided to the user as to whether the user should disclose the attribute to the content provider, based on the determination and a risk tolerance associated with the user. In various embodiments, a dimension authority may track and make available population counts of users or computing environments having various attributes.
PRODUCT PACKAGE AND ASSOCIATED SYSTEM FOR IMPROVING USER-PRODUCT ENGAGEMENT
A system for promoting user-product engagement including a plurality of token readers and a messaging system server is disclosed. Each of the plurality of token readers comprises one or more sensors configured to detect a code from a token associated with a packaged product when the token is in a range of the sensor, and also detect a user identifier from a proximate mobile electronic device, and a transmitter. The messaging system server is configured to receive a signal emitted by any of the plurality of transmitters associated with each of the plurality of token readers, retrieve, from a data store, profile information for a user who is associated with the user identifier, update the profile information with product information corresponding to the detected code and location information corresponding to the token reader ID, and save the updated profile information to the data store.
REMINDING USERS OF OFFERS
Provided is a computer implemented process for reminding users of offers that were discovered by the user at one location when, at a later time, the user is at another location, the process including: displaying, with a mobile device, an offer and a reminder interface to indicate that the user requests themselves or another reminder recipient to be reminded of the offer when near another computing device of the reminder recipient; receiving an interaction with the reminder interface by the user and, in response, storing a reminder request in memory, the reminder request identifying the offer; obtaining data identifying the other computing device, a geographic area of the other computing device, or a wireless environment of the other computing device; detecting, with a processor of the mobile device, that the reminder recipient has interacted with the other computing device, entered the geographic area, or entered the wireless environment; and in response to the detection, presenting a notification reminding the reminder recipient of the offer.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING INTEGRATED MEDIA
Methods and system deliver media to users of media presentation systems. In accordance with one embodiment of the invention, a media server communicates with a media presentation system, such as a media player for streaming video and audio, to present subscription and non-subscription media to the user of the media presentation system. Subscription media may include multi-tiered media packages and individual media offerings as selected by the user. The media may be presented in various formats, including video, a graphical display, an audio presentation, a graphical and audio presentation, URL links, and interactive windows. Information about the user, the user's subscription status, the user's media presentation system and information about the media providers and the media offered by the media providers are maintained by the media server. The media server updates the foregoing information in accordance with the interaction between the media server, the users of media presentation systems, and the media providers.
