Cross-device geolocation sensing to geotarget offers
Provided is a process of distributing offers to non-location-sensing devices based on a geolocation sensed by another device, the process comprising: obtaining a geolocation of a user from a mobile device of the user; associating the geolocation of the user with an identifier of the user in an offers engine; receiving a request for an offer from another computing device of the user, the request including or prompting obtaining data from the other computing device sufficient to identify the user; retrieving the geolocation of the user obtained from the mobile device by identifying the user with the data from the other computing device sufficient to identify the user account; selecting, with the offers engine, a responsive offer based on the geolocation of the user obtained from the mobile device; and sending the responsive offer to the other computing device of the user.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR REAL-TIME CURATED CATEGORY AND SOCIAL MEDIA ADVERTISING
A system and method for real-time curated category and social media advertising is presented. A system can include a modulator module, a syncer module, a ranking module, a database interface, and a sharing module. The syncer is configured to monitor the modulator module to ensure that new custom-curated shelves or collections are accounted for. The ranking module is configured to track the ranking of each product in a shelf such that the products are listed according to rankings. The database interface allows the system to display relevant information regarding each item in a shelf. The sharing module is configured to interface with social media services to promote shelves. Other embodiments are also disclosed herein.
INTERACTIVE VIRTUAL THEMATIC ENVIRONMENT
The present invention is directed to a method of integrating information, including real-time information, into a virtual thematic environment using a computer system, including accessing the stored information from a database or downloading the real-time information from a source external to the thematic environment; inserting the real-time information into the thematic environment; and displaying the information to a user within the thematic environment. In one embodiment, the computer system is connected to a holographic projection system such that the images from the thematic environment can be projected as holographic projections. The computer system includes an interactive software application platform having at least one thematic/publishing logic module which contains thematic environment rules; at least one digital content library module which provides content management on the thematic environment; and at least one quantum imaging environment (QIE) module which interprets content such that the content is manipulated and accessed by any device.
INTELLIGENT TEMPERATURE MANAGEMENT BASED ON ENERGY USAGE PROFILES AND OUTSIDE WEATHER CONDITIONS
Accessing an energy management policy for a plurality of devices is described, wherein the devices are coupled with a first structure. The energy usage of the devices is monitored. An energy usage rule and energy usage is then compared. The energy management policy and energy usage is also compared. Based on the comparing, an instruction is generated to modify an energy usage profile of said device to correlate with the energy usage rule associated with the devices and the energy management policy, thereby enabling efficient energy management.

Method and system for delivering managed messages
Techniques related to data communication between a server device and a client device are described. In one aspect of the present invention, a server is operated by an a publisher in connection with a plurality of message distributors, and the client device is a computing device associated with a consumer or an end user. Depending on what information submitted from the client device, a message distributor determines most relevant information for the user and compensates the end user for viewing or listening to the information. According to one aspect of the present invention, the server device executes a server module invented, uniquely designed, implemented or configured to cause the server device to determine what is the most relevant information a subscriber is interested in viewing or listening to at a cost most effective to the publisher/advertiser of the information and a payment most appealing to the user.
Method and system for managed promotional advertising
Techniques related to data communication between a server device and a client device are described. In one aspect of the present invention, a server device is operated by an advertiser or an ad publisher in connection with a plurality of advertisers, and the client device is a computing device associated with a consumer or an end user. Depending on what information submitted from the client device, the ad publisher determines most relevant advertisements to the end user and compensates the end user for one or more of the advertisements. According to one aspect of the present invention, the server device executes a server module created, uniquely designed, implemented or configured to cause the server device to determine what are the most relevant advertisements a subscriber is interested in viewing at a cost most effective to the publisher/advertisers of the advertisements and a payment most appealing to the user.
Bookmarking Social Networking System Content
A social networking system allows users to bookmark content within the social networking system to view at a later time and/or to share with other users. The content that may be bookmarked may include advertisements, user posted content, user comments on posted content, or any other content viewable within the social networking system, as well as links to content outside of the social networking system. A user may save the content by selecting a bookmark link corresponding to the content. The bookmarked content may be viewed later, such as in a bookmarked content dashboard, and it may also be used to provide additional content to the user that is related to the bookmarked content. Additionally, the user's bookmarking activity may be published to the user's connections in the social networking system to enable others to find and view the content that the user deems worthy of bookmarking.
FOCAL-POINT BASED RECOMMENDATION METHOD AND SYSTEM
The present invention provides a focal-point based recommendation method and system. The method includes collecting textual information displayed on a screen of the mobile terminal; identifying one or more focal points on the screen from a user; collecting contextual information of the mobile terminal; and suggesting one or more point-of-interests (POIs) to the user based on the textual information, the focal points and the contextual information. Further, when the user selects one or more POIs, based on the selected POIs, one or more contents are recommended to the user. The contents include at least one of an app content and an app function.
