METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLE (EV) CHARGE UNITS AND SYSTEMS FOR PROCESSING CONNECTIONS TO CHARGE UNITS
A method is provided, which includes receiving, at a server, a request from a device to find one or more charge units for charging an electric vehicle at a geographic location. The method includes accessing, by the server, a first database to identify charge units that are associated with the geographic location. The method includes accessing, by the server, a second database to identify discounts available at the charge units identified to be associated with the geographic location. One of the identified discounts on one of the charge units is provided by a first merchant having a business location proximate to the one of the charge units. The method includes sending, by the server, data to the device that identifies one or more of the charge units that are associated with the geographic location, the data further including information regarding one or more discounts identified to be available at one or more of the identified charge units.
Method and apparatus for providing indoor travel path based on beacon
A method and apparatus provide an indoor travel path based on a beacon. In an embodiment, the apparatus extracts, as a target beacon, at least one beacon device corresponding to at least one destination and also extracts, as an intermediate beacon, one or more beacon devices intervening between the target beacon and a user's terminal device. Then the apparatus establishes a link connecting the target beacon and the intermediate beacon and, based on the established link, calculates one or more paths configured to start from a current location of the terminal device, to pass through the intermediate beacon, and to arrive at the target beacon. Further, the apparatus selects a travel path having the minimum number of link hops from among the calculated paths and offers it to the terminal device.
METHOD FOR DISCOVERING SALES EVENTS
A method for discovering sales events, comprising receiving an event from a seller, receiving a first set of information from the seller, storing the first set of information in a database, placing a limit on the event, receiving an activation request from the seller, and activating the event. The method may further include receiving a request from a buyer, receiving a second set of information from the buyer, generating a list of one or more events based on the second set of information, receiving a selection from a buyer, wherein the selection includes at least one of the one or more events, and generating an optimized route to each of the at least one of the one or more events.
ELECTRIC VEHICLE (EV) CHARGE UNIT RESERVATIONS
A computer implemented method for managing charge availability of a charge unit (CU) to obtain charge for a battery of an electric vehicle (EV) is provided. The CU includes a computer for processing at least part of the method and for communicating with a server over a network. The method includes receiving, by the server, status information from the computer of the CU. The method includes sending to the computer of the CU instructions to make a reservation for the CU. The reservation is for a user account that has requested a desire to charge the battery of the electric vehicle of the user at the CU or another CU. The method includes sending, by the server, a confirmation for the reservation to the user account. The confirmation is viewable via a device having access to the server via the user account. The method includes sending, by the server, a data regarding a time of availability of the CU to the user account for the reservation. The computer of the CU is configured to display a visual indicator regarding the reservation of the CU.
Method for updating map displays
A method for updating a computer generated may including providing tools for a user to draw building outlines on the map, and move icons that are associated with the building to points near on inside the new outline. Thereafter, the update map and icon location are distributed for display on a plurality of computer displays.
Dynamic generation and organization of digital circulars
A dynamic digital advertising content system having a front end system and a back end system, and used to present product content to a user's computing device in the form of a digital circular. The back end system provides retailers and third party access to upload, and update, product content information for the digital circular, including videos and animations. The dynamic digital advertising content system can include integrations for third-parties such as digital coupon providers and loyalty program providers. The system permits users the ability to share with other users merchandise displayed in the digital circular and/or selected for a shopping list. Such shared content can be dynamically arranged for subsequent presentation on a computing device of the recipient. The digital circular is further customizable for individual retailers or retailer locations, as well as customizable based on detected histories and/or characteristics of the user receiving the digital circular.
INFORMATION PRESENTATION DEVICE, VEHICLE CONTROL DEVICE, INFORMATION PRESENTATION TERMINAL, INFORMATION PRESENTATION SYSTEM, AND INFORMATION PRESENTATION METHOD
An information presentation device is provided with a receiving unit, a transmitting unit and an incentive issuing unit. The receiving unit receives vehicle location data indicating a vehicle location of a vehicle and facility usage data indicating that the vehicle has used a vehicle service facility. The transmitting unit transmits service facility data including location information of a vehicle service facility in a vicinity of the vehicle location or in a vicinity of a travel route of the vehicle, and commercial facility data including location information of a commercial facility associated with the vehicle service facility. The incentive issuing unit issues an incentive to a user or a vehicle to use the commercial facility.
Method and digital signage server for managing placement of a digital signage content based on metric thresholds
Method and server for managing placement of a digital signage content based on metric thresholds. The server stores parameters associated to a plurality of locations. The parameters for each location comprise at least one metric and a corresponding threshold for each metric. The server determines a plurality of candidate locations among the plurality of locations for displaying the content. For each candidate location, the server processes the at least one metric and corresponding threshold of the candidate location to determine if each metric among the at least one metric is within the corresponding threshold. The server identifies one or more target location among the plurality of candidate locations for displaying the content. Each metric among the at least one metric of the one or more target location is within the corresponding threshold. The locations may include digital signage players, geographical areas, displays controlled by a player.
Methods and systems for pedestal projecting in a retail environment
Examples described herein generally relate to a system and method for projecting content in a retail environment. The system and method may include an image projector for projecting content on a surface of the retail environment. The system and method may also include a security pedestal comprising the image projector. The system and method may also include receiving at the image projector a first signal indicating a first content to be projected. The system and method may also include receiving at the image projector a second signal indicating a second content to be projected after the first content.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR MANAGING TRAFFIC LIGHTS
A technique is directed to methods and systems for managing multiple traffic light devices. In some implementations, the method includes (1) receiving a request for route planning for a vehicle; (2) determining a location of the vehicle; (3) planning a route for the vehicle at least based on the request and a set of rules; and (4) implementing the route for the vehicle by communicating with one or more of multiple traffic light devices along the route. In some implementations, the set of rules includes a subscription plan associated with the vehicle, and the subscription plan is indicative of an assigned priority of the vehicle.
