Displaying advertisements with location information
Advertisement content associated with an entity having a physical location is selected for display to a user by a client device. A proximity of the client device to the physical location is determined. In response to determining the proximity between the client device and the physical location, an advertisement is generated that includes the advertisement content and an indicator of the physical location. The generated advertisement is sent to the client device for display to the user.

The preference of the user for the location is determined based on a plurality of users and a plurality of locations. The method includes determining a user-location relation based on a plurality of relations of the users with the locations, determining a plurality of POItags indicative of one or more properties of the plurality of locations, and determining a user-POItag relation based on the plurality of users and the plurality of POItags. The method also includes determining a location-POItag relation based on the plurality of locations and the plurality of POItags, and determining the preference of the user for the location based on at least one of the user-location relation, the user-POItag relation, and the location-POItag relation. The system includes a controller configured to perform the method. A vehicle including the system is also provided.

The present disclosure relates to a system and method for determining advertising conversion metrics. In some implementations, a method includes receiving spatial information associated with a user in connection with an advertisement presented through a wireless device 102. The advertisement is associated with an offline 110 store having a geographic location. A likelihood of conversion is determined based, at least in part, on the spatial information and the geographic location of the offline store 110.
Dynamic generation and organization of digital circulars
A dynamic digital advertising content system having a front end system and a back end system, and used to present product content to a user's computing device in the form of a digital circular. The back end system provides retailers and third party access to upload, and update, product content information for the digital circular, including videos and animations. The dynamic digital advertising content system can include integrations for third-parties such as digital coupon providers and loyalty program providers. The system permits users the ability to share with other users merchandise displayed in the digital circular and/or selected for a shopping list. Such shared content can be dynamically arranged for subsequent presentation on a computing device of the recipient. The digital circular is further customizable for individual retailers or retailer locations, as well as customizable based on detected histories and/or characteristics of the user receiving the digital circular.

Systems and Methods for Statistical Dynamic Geofencing
Systems and methods for statistical dynamic geofencing are discussed. For example, a method for statistical dynamic geofencing can include operations such as receiving a location-based campaign request, analyzing demographic data, determining a geofence parameter, generating a geofence, and distributing location-aware advertisements. The location-based campaign request can include a list of points of interest (POIs) and a target demographic parameter. The demographic data can include data from geographic areas surrounding at least a portion of the POIs as well as data related to the target demographic parameter. The geofence can be generated based at least in part on the geofence parameter, where the geofence parameter directly affects either the size or shape of the geofence. The location-aware advertisements are distributed to a plurality of mobile devices determined to be within the geofence.
Apparatus, method and article for collection, charging and distributing power storage devices, such as batteries
A collection, charging and distribution machine collects, charges and distributes portable electrical energy storage devices (e.g., batteries, super- or ultracapacitors). To charge, the machine employs electrical current from an external source, such as the electrical grid or an electrical service of an installation location. The machine determines a first number of devices to be rapidly charged, employing charge from a second number of devices identified to sacrifice charge. Thus, some devices may be concurrently charged via current from the electrical service and current from other devices, to achieve rapid charging of some subset of devices. The devices that sacrifice charge may later be charged. Such may ensure availability of devices for end users.
PROVIDING AN IMAGE OF AN ITEM TO ADVERTISE THE ITEM
A first device captures an image of an item and provides the image depicting the item and a textual descriptor to a host machine. The host machine receives the image of the item and provides the image and textual descriptor to a second device. The second device initially presents the image as a listing of the item. The second device presents the textual descriptor and an option to initiate a communication to a first user associated with the first device upon request by a second user of the second client device.
