SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR DETERMINING LOCATION OF CONSUMER PRODUCT DISPLAYS WITH WIRELESS BEACONS USING KNOWN WIRELESS BEACON LOCATIONS
Systems and methods for using wireless beacons in displays that display consumer products to facilitate the delivery of consumer oriented content to mobile devices is disclosed herein. Wireless beacons may be used to broadcast wireless signals from displays, where the wireless signals include data packets with unique identifiers for the wireless beacons. A first wireless signal from a first display may be received by a mobile device. The mobile device may also receive a second wireless signal from a second display at the same retail location. The mobile device may provide the first and second unique identifiers to a remote server. The remote server may know the location of one of the displays and assess the retail location of the other display based on the receiving both unique identifiers from the same retail location.
IMPLICIT QUERY GENERATION BASED ON PHYSICAL MOVEMENT
Systems and methods, and other embodiments, for processing in-store events regarding the location of a mobile device user are presented. Data regarding a plurality of physical stores is maintained, where the data comprises, for each of the plurality of physical stores, a web site comprising a plurality of web pages, each web page corresponding to a location with the physical store. While a mobile device user is within a physical store, in-store events regarding the mobile device user are repeatedly received. A corresponding implicit request for a web page corresponding to location information of the in-store events is generated and supplemental content from the web page, returned in response to the implicit request, is presented to the mobile device user.
Method, apparatus, and computer program product for searching for promotions
Methods, apparatuses, and computer program products are provided herein for improving consumer interactions with Marketing and Promotion Service systems. In one embodiment, a method for searching for promotions is provided which includes accessing a map to be displayed to a consumer; receiving input comprising a time period; and receiving input comprising a circumscribed region on a map, wherein the circumscribed region provides an indication of an area in which the consumer is planning to travel. The method further includes searching, by a processor, for promotions within the circumscribed region that are redeemable during the time period and generating an impression comprising one or more promotions returned from the searching for promotions, wherein the impression includes at least one promotion related to travel. A corresponding apparatus and computer program product are also provided.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DYNAMICALLY RETRIEVING AND MONITORING GEOFENCE ACTIVITY
Systems, device and techniques are disclosed for dynamically retrieving and monitoring geo-fence activity. A meta geo-fence may be identified based on a user device geolocation. The meta geo-fence having a radius that is dynamically generated to include previously defined geo-fences within or touching the meta geo-fence. User device geolocation may be monitored in relation to the defined geo-fences included in the radius of the meta geo-fence. A communication may be sent to the user device when the user device reports that the user device has entered or exited one of the previously defined geo-fences within or touching the radius of the meta geo-fence.
APPARATUS, METHOD AND ARTICLE FOR PROVIDING VEHICLE DIAGNOSTIC DATA
A network of collection, charging and distribution machines collects, charges and distributes portable electrical energy storage devices (e.g., batteries, supercapacitors or ultracapacitors). Vehicle diagnostic data of a vehicle using the portable electrical energy storage device is stored on a diagnostic data storage system of the portable electrical energy storage device during use of a respective portable electrical energy storage device by a respective vehicle. Once the user places the portable electrical energy storage device in the collection, charging and distribution machine, or comes within wireless communications range of a collection, charging and distribution machine, a connection is established between the collection, charging and distribution machine and the portable electrical energy storage device. The collection, charging and distribution machine then reads vehicle diagnostic data stored on the diagnostic data storage system of the portable electrical energy storage device and provides information regarding the diagnostic data.

Method and system consist of a mobile application installed on a mobile device with internet connection and a geographical positioning device; a remote hosting server configured with software and database; an onsite wireless communication hosting apparatus. The mobile application communicates with the remote hosting server and the onsite wireless communication apparatus. The remote hosting server and onsite wireless communication apparatus communicate and transfer data to one another, the remote hosting server communicates with third party databases via secured access and retrieves location related information requested by onsite users of the mobile device. Web users at anywhere may select a location displayed on a digital map over interface of a web application configured to the remote hosting server; access the same as onsite users; including data entered by location owners, received from third-party databases via secured connection, and uploaded from onsite wireless communication apparatus.

A computer implemented system including a primary user device operable to access and execute computer instruction code that, when executed, causes generation and sending of notifications to one or more secondary user devices, a database of previously collected data in respect of users of the secondary user devices where the one or more secondary user devices operated by users other than users of primary user devices, and a matching engine, wherein generated notifications are matched, by the matching engine, to the user of a secondary user device according to analysis of the previously collected data regarding the user of the secondary user device such that notifications sent to the secondary user device are relevant to the user of the secondary user device.

A system and computer-implemented method for operating a fantasy league including: fantasy player information including performance history of one or more real-world athletes selected as fantasy players is stored. Sponsorship information associated with the fantasy player is stored on at least one of an individual or team basis. An operational request from a fantasy client device is received. An association between the operational request and the fantasy player is determined. An operational result is determined. At least one item of sponsorship information is associated with the operational result. The operational result and the sponsorship information are transmitted. An alert window is displayed at the fantasy client device including the sponsorship information.
Transaction completion based on geolocation arrival
Techniques for providing friction-free transactions using geolocation and user identifiers are described herein. These techniques may ascertain a user's location based on a location of a mobile device. A transaction between the user and a merchant may be completed with zero or minimal input from the user based on the geolocation of the mobile device and the user identifiers. In some implementations, a transaction initiated earlier is completed when the mobile device arrives at the merchant. Additionally, a parent-child or similar relationship may be established between multiple devices. Security on the mobile device based may be provided by biometric identification and calculation of variance from regular movement patterns. Advertisements may be sent to the mobile device based on bids from merchants near to the mobile device. Promotions may be sent to the mobile device when more than a threshold number of mobile devices are located at the same merchant.
