The system operates by providing a control system server containing message programming and a relational database. The system receives trigger data at the relational database as well recipient data. A recipient data source provides recipient data to the message programming. A messaging purchase interface is also provided, and is configured to provide the control system server with an ordered messaging program including business rules and message content. The system determines that a first trigger data item meets the business rules of the ordered message program and uses the business rules to identify a first subset of recipients to receive the ordered message content. The system then reviews and transmits that content to at least one digital device of at least one healthcare provider.

Product details received from a vendor API may be sent to a client device to be displayed in a graphical user interface of an inflight entertainment system, allowing a passenger on the aircraft to view the product details with a plurality of product details for a plurality of products and purchase the product through the inflight entertainment system.
