Systems and Methods for Identifying Potential Advertising Opportunities for Events Based on Aggregate Consumer Profiles
Systems and methods are provided for identifying advertising opportunities for subsequent events, based on event data and transaction data for similar prior events. One exemplary method includes accessing event data associated with a prior event where the event data includes tags associated with the prior event, and accessing transaction data for consumers based on transactions by the consumers involving merchants associated with the prior event. The method also includes compiling an aggregate consumer profile for the consumers based on the accessed transaction data, where the profile includes categories of transactions included in the transaction data. The method further includes causing an insight interface to be delivered to a user associated with a subsequent event based on the aggregate consumer profile and the event data, whereby the user is able to identify potential advertising opportunities for the subsequent event via the insight interface for the prior event.
Systems and Methods for Detection of Navigation to Physical Venue and Suggestion of Alternative Actions
The techniques, methods, systems, and other mechanisms described herein include processes for determining if customized content should be generated, what information to include in the customized content, and when to provide the customized content. In general, a computing system determines that a user intends to travel to a physical venue. The computing system can determine if an entity associated with the physical venue has a web page. The computing system can determine various aspects of a predicted route of travel from the user's present location to the physical venue. The computing system can use location information indicating the user's current location and determine one or more routes of travel to the physical venue. The computing system can compare one or more determined aspects of the predicted route to threshold values to determine if customized content should be generated and presented to the user.
Adjusting the display of social media updates to varying degrees of richness based on environmental conditions and importance of the update
A method, system and computer program product for adjusting a display of social media updates to varying degrees of richness. A level of importance for each social media update is identified and assigned to the update. The importance of the social media update can be defined by various aspects, such as topics or people of interest to the user. Furthermore, a current condition of a user's environment (e.g., current workload of the user) is determined. The social media updates are then displayed in a social networking feed with a particular degree of richness at a particular location based on the level of importance of the social media updates, the current condition of the user's environment, and/or the user's interactions with existing updates currently displayed. In this manner, the amount of time required by the user to determine which updates are important to the user is reduced.
ROUTINE SUGGESTION SYSTEM
Systems and methods for providing routine suggestions include determining that a user is in a current location that is over a predetermined distance from a home location that is associated with the user in a non-transitory memory. A current time is then determined that corresponds to a time period associated with a routine purchase type that is associated with the home location in the non-transitory memory. At least one merchant is then retrieved over a network that is associated with the current location and that provides the routine purchase type. The at least one merchant is then displayed on a display device. The systems and methods operate to learn routine purchases made by the user in a home location, and then provide suggested merchants at which those routine purchases can be made when the user is in a location different from the home location.
Device for recommending location in building by using fingerprint of access point, and method using same
Disclosed are a device for recommending locations in a building using fingerprints of access points and a method using the device. The locations of access points are detected by collecting fingerprints for the access points from terminals of multiple users, the locations of stores in the building are detected by using the fingerprints and payment histories of the multiple users, and locations may be recommended to a recommendation target user based on a meta-path, using a metamap generated by integrating the locations of the access points and stores with the indoor plan of the building. Indoor positioning is enabled by detecting the locations of access points using the information obtained from the terminals of multiple users, whereby constructing infrastructure information for the access points in the building in advance may not be required.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PRESENTING TARGETED IN STORE COUPON AND ADVERTISEMENT TO CUSTOMER BASED ON THEIR TRANSACTION HISTORY
Method for presenting targeted messages can include initiating a transaction with a cardholder to purchase an item. The merchant can receive a selection from the cardholder to obtain the item at a merchant location. The merchant can also receive information identifying a customer who will obtain the item at the merchant location. At the merchant location, the merchant can verify an identity of the customer based at least in part on the information identifying the customer, and the merchant can provide the item to the customer. The merchant can also present a targeted message to the customer at the merchant location based on a customer profile corresponding to the customer. Systems, networks, and media are also disclosed.
BILLING ENGINE AND METHOD OF USE
A wireless communication device associated with a mobile operator network transmits an authentication request for network access via a wireless access point (AP) using a transceiver other than the cellular network transceiver. Device authentication can occur directly with the mobile operator network or via a proxy server. Upon authentication, the requesting device may access a wide area network in a data off-load operational mode and the data flow to and from the device via the AP is monitored and reported to mobile operator network associated with the requesting device. The wireless communication device can communicate with any of a plurality of APs distributed in a venue during the data off-load operational mode.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PERSONALIZED ADVERTISING
Advertisements may be delivered through a digital display device within a defined commercial location connected to a server. A disclosed method may include the server receiving a user identifier that is within the defined commercial location, correlating the user identifier to a user profile including user preferences and a user specific visual enhancement. The server may receive a first interaction indication including a first location indication to correlate a first location of the user within the defined commercial location and a first time indication to correlate the first location indication to a first date and time. The server may store in a memory a database record including the user identifier and the first interaction indication. The server may deliver a visual digital advertisement, to the digital display device within the defined commercial location based on the database record, the user preferences and the user specific visual enhancement.
MIXED REALITY SYSTEM FOR IDENTIFICATION OF A COMMERCIAL OFFERING
A response to an advertisement driven stimulus is effected by locating a portable Mixed Reality (MR) device at a terrestrial position at a point in time; identifying a fixed point advertisement in proximity to the portable MR device based upon the device's terrestrial position; and providing a response specific to the fixed point advertisement. The point in time is determined by a signal from the portable MR device with respect to an advertisement, whereafter the MR device is located by receiving a navigational signal. Communication is automatically established with a central data server where the fixed point advertisement is identified by comparing the terrestrial position of the portable MR device with a plurality of tabulated positions of fixed point advertisements. A unique identifier associated with the portable MR device and position of the device are utilized by the data server to tailor a specific response to the advertisement based stimulus.
DERIVING AUDIENCES THROUGH FILTER ACTIVITY
Systems and methods are described for an audience derivation system to build user profiles based on user interactions with distributed media content, such as filters. The audience derivation system may be or include any instrumentality or aggregate of instrumentalities operable to compute, process, store, display, generate, communicate, or apply various forms of data for user profile building, audience derivation, control, or other purposes.
