The point-of-sale terminal may generate nutritional information based on the purchase information. The point-of-sale terminal may send the customer information, the purchase information, and location information identifying a location of the POS terminal to an advertising server, and may receive responsive advertising content from the advertising server. The point-of-sale terminal may print a receipt including the transaction information, the nutritional information, and the advertising content.
SYSTEM AND APPARATUS FOR DISPLAYING CONTENT BASED ON LOCATION
There is provided a method of creating a virtual bazaar comprising: receiving at a bazaar generation engine information packages each corresponding to one of a plurality of physical shops dispersed within a given geographical area; communicating the information packages from the engine to a shop information database and storing the information packages therein; receiving at the engine a selection of a location, and in response at the engine: retrieving from the database the information packages corresponding to a selection of the physical shops located within a target area related to the location selection, the target area within the given geographical area; generating for each physical shop in the selection a respective virtual representation based on the corresponding information package; and arranging the virtual representations to generate the bazaar so that the virtual representations of the physical shops providing each given offering are grouped in a respective portion of the bazaar.
System and Method for Presenting Information on a Mobile Device
A system for presenting a merchant page on a mobile device comprises a server, a database accessible by the server, and a mobile device. The database comprises a plurality of merchant pages associated with merchant information. The mobile device is configured to scan a machine-readable code encoding the merchant information. The mobile device is further configured to transmit to the server a signal responsive to the machine-readable code being scanned by the mobile device. The server, in response to receiving the signal from the mobile device, is configured to transmit the relevant merchant page associated with the merchant information to the mobile device. A method for presenting a merchant page on a mobile device is also provided.
DIGITAL SIGNAGE FOR IMMERSIVE VIEWS
Techniques for generating and superimposing digital signage onto an immersive view. In an exemplary embodiment, certain entities are occluded or otherwise unviewable in an immersive view of an environment. For such entities, digital signage may be generated and superimposed in a suitable area of the immersive view, and further indicating, e.g., directions to such entities from a viewing location, as well as other metadata, such as business name, website, etc. To determine whether a nearby entity is displayed in the immersive view, a planar layout storing geometrical data associated with entities in the vicinity may be loaded and processed.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR LOCALIZING ADVERTISEMENTS AND AUTOMATED DECISIONS
Disclosed is an approach for localizing advertisements and advertising decisions based on dynamic and static variables tied to location data. The system includes a computing device in operable connection with a network and an application server in operable communication with the user network to host an application program for providing a system localizing advertisements and automated decisions. The application program includes a user interface module for providing access to the application program through the user computing device. A first computer program receives at least one of the following: static variables, dynamic variables, and client specific variables. An advertisement localization system includes a computer program to interact with a dynamic campaign leveraging ad customization data feed and a static campaign generated from the static information. A decision automation system includes a computer program to receive one or more human defined decisions and one or more AI learned decisions.
DISPLAY CONTROL SYSTEM IN ACCORDANCE WITH POSITION INFORMATION, DISPLAY CONTROL METHOD IN ACCORDANCE WITH POSITION INFORMATION, AND INFORMATION STORAGE MEDIUM
Provided is a display control system in accordance with position information, the display control system including at least one processor configured to: acquire position information on a position of a first store at which payment based on a user terminal of a user has been executed; acquire advertisement information on an advertisement for one of a second article or a second service dealt in at a second store based on the position information; and display on the user terminal a payment completion screen that relates to completion of the payment and includes the advertisement indicated by the advertisement information.
Seamless promotion redemption
Systems and related methods of providing seamless transactions, including payments and promotion redemptions, are discussed herein. Some embodiments may provide for a system including a communication beacon and one or more servers. The communication beacon may be configured to communicate with consumer devices via a direct wireless connection when the consumer devices are within a wireless direct communicable range of the communication beacon. The one or more servers may be configured to associate the communication with a merchant and receive consumer presence data from the communication beacon such that consumer presence at the merchant may be determined. In response, the one or more servers may be configured to perform a seamless transaction on behalf the consumer that allows the consumer to provide payments or redeem promotions, among other things, simply by self-identifying with the merchant while carrying the consumer device.
Digital signage and gaming services to comply with federal and state alcohol and beverage laws and regulations
Methods and systems providing digital signage and interactive gaming services in compliance with federal and state laws and regulations are described. A service fee is collected from a retailer, and a service fee may or may not be collected from a retailer (e.g., a bar). An advertising fee is collected from a first advertising provider. The first advertising provider is involved in alcohol distribution/wholesaling or manufacturing. A second advertising fee from a second advertising provider is collected. The second advertising provider is involved in a non-alcohol related industry. A portion of a subscription fee is collected based on a separate source of fees (e.g., text message or jukebox fee) received from a patron. The message may contain information indicating that the patron wishes to pay a service fee. Revenue sharing is implemented by distributing a portion of the service fee to the retailer and distributing a portion of the advertising fee from the second advertising provider to the retailer in compliance with federal and state laws.
Data communication using millimeter wave technology and storage thereof
A user device of a user is detected to be within a first predefined range of a first wireless apparatus. The first wireless apparatus may be a wireless device operating in a frequency spectrum in a gigahertz range and/or based on a millimeter wave technology. One or more electronic messages are received from at least the first wireless apparatus or a second wireless apparatus that is located outside of the first predefined range of the first wireless apparatus. The second wireless apparatus is communicatively coupled to the first wireless apparatus. The second wireless apparatus may be another wireless device operating in the frequency spectrum in the gigahertz range and/or based on the millimeter wave technology. At least a subset of the one or more electronic messages is presented to the user via the user device. A user interaction is determined with the presented one or more electronic messages.
