SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR DETERMINING LOCATION OF POP DISPLAYS WITH WIRELESS BEACONS USING KNOWN WIRELESS BEACON LOCATIONS
Systems and methods for using wireless beacons in point of purchase (POP) displays to facilitate the delivery of consumer oriented content to mobile devices is disclosed herein. Wireless beacons may be used to broadcast wireless signals from POP displays, where the wireless signals include data packets with unique identifiers for the wireless beacons. A first wireless signal from a first POP display may be received by a mobile device. The mobile device may also receive a second wireless signal from a second POP display at the same retail locatin. The mobile device may provide the first and second unique identifiers to a remote server. The remote server may know the location of one of the POP displays and assess the retail location of the other POP display based on the receiving both unique identifiers from the same retail location.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR POP DISPLAY AND WIRELESS BEACON ENGAGEMENT WITH MOBILE DEVICES
One of the wireless signals may be received by a mobile device. Upon receiving the wireless signal with the unique identifier, the mobile device may inspect its memory cache for content related to the POP displays. If needed, the mobile device may request up-to-date content from a remote server. Up-to-date content may be displayed on a display of the mobile device.
Methods for finding electric vehicle (EV) charge units, status notifications and discounts sponsored by merchants local to charge units
Methods, systems, charge units, computer readable media, and combinations thereof are provided, to enable color coding of charging units (CUs), to provide a visual indication to users of when a CU is available, unavailable, in progress, out of service, etc. The method also include logic for finding charge units and identifying discounts are the identified charge units. The discounts can, in some examples, be provided by merchants that may be proximate or local to a charge unit. The discount can be in the form of a discount for the charge purchased or obtained at the charge unit or discounts for goods or services offered a location of the merchant. The method executed by a processor at a charge unit or by a cloud processing logic, or by a server or servers or over the Internet, or combinations thereof.
LIVE BRANDED DYNAMIC MAPPING
A live dynamic map that provides for increased convenience for a user at a venue is disclosed. The live dynamic map may be branded for a venue, shows points of interest and paths between locations, includes a messaging capability, and allows users to be social with one another as well as venue management. Live branded mapping may allow for similar engagement on a region-by-region, neighborhood-by-neighborhood, or even brand-by-brand basis. By engaging on a hyper-local level, the present mapping platform can better target user and payload delivering and improve upon business to consumer brand engagement.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR POP DISPLAY AND WIRELESS BEACON EXECUTION WITH WIRELESS NETWORK GATEWAYS
A wireless network gateway may receive a wireless signal with a unique identifier. The location of the wireless network gateway may be known to a remote server. The remote server may determine that the location of the POP display and wireless beacon is the same as the wireless network gateway
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR EXTERNAL ENVIRONMENT DETECTION AND OPERATION FOR POP DISPLAYS WITH WIRELESS BEACONS
Systems and methods for using wireless beacons in point of purchase (POP) displays to facilitate the delivery of consumer oriented content to mobile devices is disclosed herein. One or more sensors may be coupled to a POP display to assess external conditions in a selected area around the POP display. Operation of a wireless beacon on the POP display may be controlled in response to the assessed external conditions.
Providing commercial enterprise data with map data
Disclosed are methods and systems for downloading map data. A database of layers of map data is maintained. The map data may be representative of at least one map image of a geographic area. Each layer may provide progressively more detailed display information. Map data is downloaded to a client computer, and the may data may be sufficient to allow a user to navigate within a geographic area without requiring new map data to be downloaded.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING RECOMMENDATIONS WITH A LOCATION-BASED SERVICE
A mobile application is provided that provides intelligent recommendations based on the knowledge of where the user has been, and what venues the user would like to visit. Further, such an application may be capable of determining where people in a user's social network have been and what venue locations these related users would like to visit. Also, in another implementation, the application may be capable of determining where people with similar taste have been, and where they would like to go. Some or all of this information may be used by a mobile application that provides recommendations to a user. For instance, in one implementation, a user having a mobile device such as a cell phone wishes to locate a venue based on one or more parameters, and some or all of this information may be used to order to rank recommendations with the interface.
Management of annotated location aware assets
A method may include storing a plurality of floor maps, each floor map indicating a structural layout of a respective physical location, storing a plurality of point-of-interest (POI) data structures, each POI data structure including a physical location of an associated POI that is associated with the respective POI data structure, receiving a floor map request, the floor map request including a requested location, based upon the location included by the floor map request, selecting a floor map and a subset of the plurality of POI data structures, for each of the subset of the plurality of POI data structures, receiving metadata from the associated POI, the metadata indicating a status of the associated POI, and transmitting, to the client computing device and in response to the floor map request, the selected floor map and the selected POI data structures.
Programmatic merchandising system and method for increasing in-store transaction conversions via heuristic advertising
An automated advertising scheduling and distribution process reacts to the effectiveness of sales data. A hosted platform creates location-specific playlists based on key consumer variables that impact buying behavior, and dynamically performs data analytics. Utilizing a programmatic system and machine learning algorithmic methodology, the platform gathers data from the retailer's data warehouse and automatically pulls location-by-location sales data while simultaneously collecting playback data. If sales are not being affected on the particular item that is being promoted, then the platform may be configured to replace that message with a promotional message for another product with a higher likelihood of engagement and conversion. This virtual feedback loop ensures that the platform is optimizing the most effective series of promotional messages for any given location. The content management administrator accordingly delivers relevant advertising/messages to various display screens integrated into fuel pumps, through the store, and to retailer loyalty program applications.
