VEHICLE-MOUNTED DYNAMIC CONTENT DELIVERY SYSTEMS

A method is disclosed for displaying dynamic media content on a vehicle-mounted display as the vehicle travels along a route. The dynamic content may be audio or video content, and is selected based in part on sensor data, which may pertain to contextual or environmental factors. The content may be dynamically adjusted during playback, such as by bouncing or sharply changing direction during a sudden change in velocity or acceleration. Aside from motion-related factors, other contextual and environmental factors include weather, visibility, traffic, location, and time of day.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING TARGETED DIGITAL ADVERTISEMENTS TO CUSTOMERS AT A RETAIL STORE
20210233110 · 2021-07-29 ·

Systems and methods are for providing targeted advertisements to customers at a retail store include digital display devices and digital cameras that capture physical characteristics data and behavioral data associated with the in-store customers of the retail store. The system also includes a computing device that obtains, from an electronic advertisement database, a request for the purchase of the targeted advertisements by a client wishing to digitally advertise at the store, and the physical characteristics data, behavioral data, and/or historical sales data. The computing device then correlates the request for the purchase of the targeted advertisements by the client to the physical characteristics data, behavioral data, and/or historical sales data in order to determine a schedule for displaying the targeted advertisements to in-store customers via the digital display devices, and to select one or more of the digital display devices for displaying the targeted advertisements to the in-store customers.

MULTI-DIMENSIONAL PACING FORECAST OF ELECTRONIC DISTRIBUTION OF CONTENT ITEMS

Herein are techniques for content delivery pacing based on multidimensional forecasting. In an embodiment, a computer receives, for a content delivery campaign, targeting criteria and a resource usage limit of a limited resource. Entities that match the targeting criteria are identified for which content of the delivery campaign may have increased relevance. For each matching entity, a forecast of requests that might originate from the entity during each of a series of time intervals is generated to predict opportunities to deliver the content of the campaign. The forecasts of the matching entities can be combined to generate a combined forecast of requests for the targeting criteria. The computer generates, based on the combined forecast and the resource usage limit for the content delivery campaign, and stores for future use a fulfilment schedule that specifies amounts of requests to fulfill during the series of time intervals.

Portable Billboard
20210248647 · 2021-08-12 ·

A portable billboard is presented including a portable media projection subsystem to selectively project media and to supply an enablement signal in response to the media being projected. A location device supplies a geographic location of the media projection subsystem. A verifier receives the enablement signal and the geographic location, and supplies verification information responsive to the media being projected from a stationary location for a predetermined minimum duration of time. A communications subsystem receives verification information and either stores the information for subsequent downloads, or transmits the information to a central controlling server. A targeting subsystem permits an entity to select a target stationary location from a plurality of value weighted target stationary locations. The targeting application typically provides a reward in response to a value of the selected target stationary location.

Systems, Devices, and Methods for Autonomous Communication Generation, Distribution, and Management of Online Communications
20210224858 · 2021-07-22 · ·

This document describes the autonomous collection, generation, distribution, and management of online web content. The devices, systems, and methods described herein can be used to collect and generate online web content and communications in an automatic and autonomous manner. Specifically, the disclosed methods, devices, and systems may be employed to produce one or more communications and/or advertising campaigns, as well as for monitoring, managing, defining the efficiency, effectiveness, and workability of the campaign with respect to generating predicted user engagements, thereby accurately determining the cost benefits of the communication campaign. The system may track, evaluate, and provide analytic results that may then be used to better guide the system parameters for customizing autonomous communications directed one or more characteristics of a defined target audience.

Mobile advertising system

Systems, methods, apparatuses and articles of manufacture for mobile advertisement systems are disclosed. A mobile advertising system in accordance with the present disclosure comprises a device capable of determining a geolocation of the device, at least one sensor, coupled to the device, for determining at least a motion of the device, a display, coupled to the device in which the display faces in a direction; and a camera, coupled to the device, in which the camera captures an scene in the direction, in which the device sends at least one image to the display based at least in part on the geolocation of the device, the determined motion of the device, and the scene in the direction, and the display shows the at least one image in the direction.

MEDIA BREAK MANAGEMENT
20210192567 · 2021-06-24 ·

A method for playing out a media program including primary programming. The method includes forming a first set of content for play-out during a break in the primary programming; storing multiple content items; in advance of the break occurring, signaling duration of the break to a first server and performing, using the first server, a search for a second set of content, which includes a set of stored content items that meet predetermined criteria, which indicates that the combined duration of the set matches the duration of the break, determining whether the search was successful, and; if so, transmitting, by a first mechanism, a base program including the primary programming and subsequently, during the break, the first set of content; and transmitting, by a second mechanism, the primary programming and subsequently, during the break, the second set of content, and otherwise, transmitting during the break by the second mechanism the base program.

METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR RECOMMENDING MEDIA ASSETS BASED ON THE GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION AT WHICH THE MEDIA ASSETS ARE FREQUENTLY CONSUMED

Methods and systems are provided herein for recommending a media asset based on a geographic location at which that media asset was frequently consumed. For example, the system may monitor a location, such as New York City or Times Square, to determine popular media assets watched there, such as “The Avengers,” and when another user visits New York City, the system may then notify the user that the movie, such as “The Avengers,” is associated with New York City. The system stores the geographic locations associated with the media asset in the database based on the consumption of the media asset so that other users may be notified which media assets are associated with each geographic location.

Discount offer with time period defined by user impression
11049146 · 2021-06-29 · ·

An online system receives a discount offer from a merchant and displays the offers to users. Some of the discount offers provide for a discount that becomes valid when the discount offer is displayed to the user and remains valid for an offer duration. To implement these discount offers, a timestamp representing the time at which the discount offer is displayed is recorded and encoded. The encoded timestamp is provided to the merchant system when the user makes a purchase. The merchant extracts the recorded timestamp from the encoded timestamp and compares the recorded timestamp to the time of the purchase. If the time elapsed between the timestamp and the purchase is less than the offer duration, then the merchant system applies the discount to the purchase.

Systems and methods for providing dimensional promotional offers

Systems and related methods of providing promotional offers to consumers are discussed herein. Some embodiments may provide for an apparatus including circuitry configured to provide promotional offers to consumers based on dimensions representing criteria by which promotions may be deemed relevant to a consumer. Some examples of dimensions may include location, time, environment, price, and/or consumer preference. Based on receiving signals from the consumer device, among other sources, indicating associated times, locations, and other characteristics of consumer activity, the apparatus may recognize patterns or trends in consumer behavior, and use such information to predict or influence future consumer behavior.
