A computer-implemented method for generating a suggestion list for a user for product identifications for products stored in a product database. The suggestion list is generated for a certain point in time, i.e. not only relates to the user, but also to the particular moment. Whether a product is included in this suggestion list is determined by the method by analysing the times and time intervals of past purchases of this user for this product and, if applicable, products related to this product; and also, if applicable, by corresponding times and time intervals of other purchasers. The invention also relates to a system for generating an order list and for filling a shopping basket, which system uses a device designed to carry out the method.

In accordance with some embodiments, methods for presenting advertisements during video presentation are provided, the methods comprising: receiving a media content item to be presented, wherein the media content item comprises video content that includes audio data to be presented during presentation of the video data; determining that a video presentation application is in a presentation mode that inhibits video data; receiving an advertisement to be presented during presentation of the media content item; causing the media content item to be presented in the presentation mode; causing the advertisement to be presented during presentation of the media content; detecting a user action indicative of user attention to at least a portion of the presented advertisement; and performing a further action in response to detecting the user action, which causes information other than the advertisement to be presented by the user interface.

A media content processing method comprises submission of a broadcast to the computer or server of a receiving entity, which is coded in a neutral manner such that the creator and related identifying information is not identifiable for several purposes. The material is reviewed based on qualitative evaluation thereof by a plurality of independent reviewers who do not have access to the identifying information, and some of the material is selected based on the qualitative evaluation of the reviewers. The selected material is broadcast according to a predetermined schedule, and may also be placed in a content library for viewer access. Advertising is associated with the material selected during the broadcast thereof to generate revenue. The creator of the work is paid based on the revenues generated by the advertising associated with the material.

A content scheduling method is provided. The content scheduling method, which is performed by a content scheduling apparatus, comprises acquiring a total play count of target content, determining a plurality of weight values of the target content with respect to a plurality of time slots, each weight value of the plurality of weight values indicating a first preference for the target content with respect to each time slot of the plurality of time slots, generating a linear programming model using the acquired total play count and the plurality of weight values and determining, via a processor, a play count of the target content in the each time slot of the plurality of time slots based on the linear programming model.
