Method and system for a styling platform
Embodiments of the invention include methods and systems for a styling platform. In one embodiment, a method is implemented in a beauty application of a mobile device. The method includes applying a styling feature to a facial image through the beauty application, the method further includes transmitting a message from a first user to a second user through the beauty application, the message containing a hyperlink to the facial image with the styling feature applied. The method further includes establishing a communication session within the beauty application between the first and second users responsive to receiving a reply from the second user, and exchanging information regarding the styling feature within the beauty application between the first and second users using the communication session.
Content management apparatus, content display system, and content reservation method
A content management apparatus manages a content display schedule specifying a time frame for displaying content on a display device. The content management apparatus can reserve to-be-displayed content in an available time frame of the content display schedule. At this time, it is determined whether an attribute of the to-be-reserved content overlaps an attribute of other content in a time frame before or after the time frame where the content is reserved. When the two attributes do not overlap each other, reservation of the content is acceptable.
Optimizing audience engagement with digital content shared on a social networking system
This disclosure generally covers systems and methods that schedule posts of one or more images, videos, or other digital content items through an account of a social networking system in a way that optimizes user engagement. In particular, certain embodiments of the disclosed systems and methods determine when to post digital content items by calculating data-driven user engagement scores and updating those scores with data tracked by the social networking system.
Platform for location and time based advertising
Disclosed is a method and system (collectively platform) of geolocation and time based advertising. The platform may include receiving, using a communication interface, a first geolocation from a client device. Further, the platform may include, receiving, using the communication interface, an advertisement content from the client device. Additionally, the platform may include creating, using the processor, an association between the first geolocation and the advertisement content. Further, the platform may include storing, using a storage device, each of the first geolocation, the advertisement content and the association. Furthermore, the platform may include receiving, using the communication interface, a second geolocation from a client device. Additionally, the platform may include comparing, using the processor, the second geolocation with the first geolocation. Further, the platform may include transmitting, using the communication interface, the advertisement content to the client device based on the comparison.
Targeted Re-Processing of Digital Content
A system includes a computing platform having processing hardware, and a memory storing software code. The software code is executed to receive digital content indexed to a timeline, receive insertion data identifying a timecode of the timeline, and encode the digital content using the insertion data to provide segmented content having a segment boundary at the timecode, and first and second segments adjoining the segment boundary, wherein the first segment precedes, and the second segment succeeds, the segment boundary. The software code also re-processes the first and second segments to apply a fade-out within or to the first segment and a fade-in within or to the second segment, wherein re-processing the first and second segments provides encoded segments having the segment boundary configured as an insertion point for supplemental content.
Systems and methods for pulsing content
Systems and methods for pulsing and controlling quality of content are provided. An automated QC system that automatically monitors (e.g., pulses) content for any changes by third-party servers and subsequently deactivates problematic content may improve user experience in relation to viewing content and enhance revenue gains for the content provider. For example, a confidence tool may identify problematic changes to the content via a pulsing mechanism, in which content is identified for deactivation until changes to the content meet the specification of the content presentation services. Active (e.g., live) or in-flight (e.g., scheduled to be live) content may continue being pulsed for any modifications unless it has been deactivated
Personalized information from venues of interest
Personalized information from venues of interest to a user is provided to the user. The information may comprise messages, notifications, or other information determined to be relevant to the user, and may be timely provided to the user in an appropriate format such that the user is better able to respond to the information. A set of venues that are relevant to the user and corresponding information sources associated with the venue are determined. Information published by these sources may be analyzed for relevance to the user, and the relevant information items may be provided to the user via notifications or applications and services. Further, the notifications may be scheduled for presentation to the user at appropriate times, such as prior to a predicted visit of the venue. One embodiment includes a venue-information clearinghouse for receiving information from venues and making it available for user applications or services.
System and method for selling items via a wireless mobile telecommunications system
Items are sold via a wireless mobile telecommunications network in which multimedia presentations describing items offered for sale are broadcast for reception by wireless mobile devices. Users of the devices can transmit responses indicating requests to buy the items or bid for them in auctions.
INFORMATION PRESENTATION DEVICE, VEHICLE CONTROL DEVICE, INFORMATION PRESENTATION TERMINAL, INFORMATION PRESENTATION SYSTEM, AND INFORMATION PRESENTATION METHOD
An information presentation device is provided with a receiving unit, a transmitting unit and an incentive issuing unit. The receiving unit receives vehicle location data indicating a vehicle location of a vehicle and facility usage data indicating that the vehicle has used a vehicle service facility. The transmitting unit transmits service facility data including location information of a vehicle service facility in a vicinity of the vehicle location or in a vicinity of a travel route of the vehicle, and commercial facility data including location information of a commercial facility associated with the vehicle service facility. The incentive issuing unit issues an incentive to a user or a vehicle to use the commercial facility.
Methods, systems, and media for setting and using an advertisement frequency cap based on causal conversions
In accordance with some embodiments of the disclosed subject matter, methods, systems, and media for setting and using an advertisement frequency cap based on causal conversions or impact of advertisements are provided.
