CONSTRAINT-BASED OPTIMIZATION
Systems and methods for constraint-based optimization, comprising: an AI demand forecasting engine, an optimization engine, a user-defined objective, and a user-defined set of constraints. Using historical sales data, the AI demand forecasting engine generates a plurality of entities, each entity defined by a placement of an item in a promotion platform; and forecasts the objective associated with each entity. The optimization engine generates a plurality of plans, each plan consisting of a unique subset of entities. Plans that violate at least one constraint are eliminated by the optimization engine, leaving a set of candidate solutions. An optimum plan is selected from the set of candidate solutions based on maximization of the objective.
Systems and methods for inferring matches and logging-in of online users across devices
Systems and methods are disclosed for associating a plurality of Internet-enabled devices with a common user profile for targeting Internet content or advertising. One method includes: receiving, from a plurality of Internet-enabled devices, a plurality of requests for electronic content or advertising; extracting, from each of the plurality of requests, a source IP address and a unique identifier associated with the respective Internet-enabled device; identifying each possible pair of devices from which requests were received; calculating for each possible pair of devices a probability that the pair of devices are owned or operated by a common user; and prompting a user to either confirm a characteristic of a prior browsing session or to log-in to an account associated with the common user based on a comparison of the calculated probability to one or more thresholds.
Systems and methods for providing offers using a mobile device
A wireless device is enabled to provide offers. The wireless device receives card data for a financial account card and stores the card data in a memory associated with the wireless device. Responsive to using the card data in a transaction at a first merchant location, the wireless device receives transaction line-item data from a computing system associated with the first merchant location. The wireless device determines merchant information for a second merchant location and determines an offer associated with the second merchant location based on the line-item data and the merchant information for the second merchant. The wireless device presents the offer when the wireless device is near the second merchant location.
COGNITIVE AND AFFECTIVE HUMAN MACHINE INTERFACE
Cognitive, emotional and/or affective state information may be used for adaptive gaming, advertisement insertion delivery timing, driver or pilot assistance, education, advertisement selection, product and/or content suggestions, and/or video chat applications. A human machine interface (HMI) may be generated. A content placement in the HMI may be managed. Sensor data from one or more sensors may be received. A timing for delivery of content may be determined. The timing for delivery of the content may be determined based on at least one of the determined cognitive state of the user or the determined affective state of the user. The content may be selected for delivery to the user based on at least one of the cognitive state of the user or the affective state of the user. The content may include an advertisement.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PERSONALIZED TIMING FOR ADVERTISEMENTS
Systems and methods are provided herein for determining personalized timing for generating for display advertisements to users. Rather than an expert determining time segments of a media asset most suitable for presenting advertisements to users, the most suitable time segments in a media asset for presenting advertisements to users may be customized based on a user's profile information and/or the user's level of engagement in a media asset. The media guidance application may parse a media asset into multiple time segments and determine one or more time segments associated with metadata that matches content characteristics preferred by the user. One or more advertisements may be presented to the user in these time segments determined by the media guidance application instead of the time segments determined by the expert.
CHANNEL SCHEDULING WITH CONTENT PLACEMENT OPPORTUNITIES AND A BIDDING-BASED EXCHANGE SYSTEM
A media content packaging and distribution system that handles the distribution of one or more channels, receives a programming schedule of a channel of the one or more channels which includes one or more content placement opportunities (CPOs). At least a CPO from the one or more CPOs, associated metadata, and one or more channel parameters of the channel is communicated to an exchange system to facilitate a bidding procedure to populate the CPO with a media item related to a winning bid in the bidding procedure. The media item related to the winning bid is dynamically inserted at a specified position in a media feed associated with the CPO. A resultant media feed that includes the media item is distributed over a distribution network to be viewed on one or more consumer devices. The media item inserted in the resultant media feed is selected by a bidder associated with the winning bid based on an outcome of the bidding procedure in the exchange system.
CAMPAIGN DELIVERY SYSTEM
Systems, methods and tools for targeting campaign notifications during specific times that a user performs related activities or events. The targeted delivery system retrieves information describing the user's day to day activities and the timing of the activities from a plurality of data sources such as social media, browser history, downloads, search engine activity, emails, audio data, video data etc. From the collection of activity data, a schedule may be created that may segment each different activity or proclivity into a particular time slot where a pattern of an activity or proclivity generally occurs. The targeted campaign delivery systems identify a user's schedule and lifestyle, breaks down the schedule into a series of time slots and caters the delivery of context specific campaign notifications before, during or closely after the time frames when the relevant activities are typically scheduled to occur.
GEOFENCE SYSTEM
Systems and methods for modifying campaign dependent geofences by creating marketing campaigns and linking the marketing campaign to a specific geofence. Each campaign-linked geofence may be capable of delivering the campaign messages to geofence participants during the duration of a marketing campaign and the geofence system may subsequently deactivate the geofence automatically after the marketing campaign has concluded. The systems and methods may map a geofence with a defined boundary to specified location on the map coinciding with the marketing campaign. As the tracked computer devices impinges on the borders of the market campaign's geofence, select messages may be received by the tracked computer devices, corresponding specifically to the events, promotions and advertisements of the campaign events during the time frame the events are active.
Personal activity tracking system
An activity tracking device is defined to detect and record movement of a person to which the activity tracking device is affixed. A secondary electronic device is defined separate from the activity tracking device. The secondary electronic device is defined to receive data from the activity tracking device regarding the detected and recorded movement of the person. A website is defined to communicate with connected devices including the secondary electronic device. The website is defined to provide a user account for the person. The website is defined to convey information regarding the detected and recorded movement of the person through the user account.
DISTRIBUTION METHOD AND DISTRIBUTION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR PROMOTION POINT HAVING UNIT OF TIME
In one embodiment, a method for controlling a time point distribution management network/system for distributing an electronic sales promotion point in a unit of time is provided. A predetermined elapsed period of time of a user in a member store is measured by a dedicated application while monitoring a radio wave which is transmitted from a location notifying device installed in the member store, by means of a radio wave detector of the client device, and an issuing condition of the member store is a condition that a time point whose issue number is based on the same unit as a unit of the time measured by the dedicated application is issued. Furthermore, a consumption condition of the affiliated store is calculated by a sale price of the affiliated store with respect to the predetermined sales promotion time.
