SYSTEMS AND METHODS TO CONNECT PEOPLE IN A MARKETPLACE ENVIRONMENT
Systems and methods to provide telephonic connections. In one embodiment, a method includes: providing a listing on a marketplace, the listing including an assigned reference to be used to initiate a real time communication connection; and billing for a real time communication lead generated from presenting the listing in response to a real time communication initiated via the reference. In one embodiment, a method includes: conducting online auction of telephonic leads; determining a way to present listings based at least partially on received price bids on the telephonic leads (e.g., the order of placement, the selection for placement, etc); and providing the listings with information to initiate a telephonic connection in a way trackable to measure a number of telephonic calls generated from presenting the listings.
COMMERCIALS ON MOBILE DEVICES
Among other things, videos and commercials are downloaded to a mobile device for storage on the mobile device and later playout on the mobile device. The downloading includes downloading of metadata associated with the commercials and based on which the mobile device can select commercials for insertion into videos being played back to the user of the mobile device. The commercials to be downloaded are selected based on one or a combination of any two or more of the location of the user, the type of mobile device, and personally-identifiable information about a user of the mobile device.
Providing Advertisements based on Contextual Data
An advertisement (ad) server that receives ad campaigns from advertiser computers. An ad campaign includes conditions that trigger the ad. The ad server stores the ad campaigns in ad records of an ad data store. The ad server receives an ad request from a mobile computing device. The ad request includes contextual data that indicates a context of the mobile computing device. The ad server provides an ad to the mobile computing device, if the ad server determines that the conditions associated with the ad are satisfied based on the contextual data included in the ad request.
DELIVERY SYSTEM OF EVENT INFORMATION OF STORE/BUSINESS OPENING DAY, ANNIVERSARY DAY AND STORE/BUSINESS CLOSING DAY
The present invention provides a delivery system for easily collecting/notifying a store/business opening day, anniversary day, or store/business closing day of a company, store and other organizations. In the delivery system, a server accepts, from a sponsor-side communication device, date information regarding any of the store/business opening day and the anniversary day, and an event information of the memorial day. The server calculates the information of the anniversary day for the next and subsequent years based on the date of the store/business opening day. For the store opening day registered in the server by a person opening a new store, the anniversary day is registered by the server, and the registered day is updated for the next and subsequent years when the anniversary day of an existing store is registered. The server accepts the transmission of a keyword from a user-side communication device and searches for a sponsor. The server responds to the user-side communication device with a website for delivering a store-closing information or a website for delivering information about an anniversary or a store-opening day in accordance with the updating status of the event information of the anniversary day.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR POWER EFFICIENT DISCOVERY OF INFRASTRUCTURE SERVICES ON A NETWORK
Systems, methods, and devices for power-efficient discovery of infrastructure services on a network are disclosed. In one aspect, a method for using advertising windows to transmit service information on a network is disclosed. The method includes transmitting timing information regarding an advertising window during which information on services offered by one or more nodes on the network will be advertised. The method further includes during the advertising window, transmitting information on services offered by one or more nodes on the network.
AUTOMATED, CONDITIONAL EVENT TICKETING, RESERVATION, AND PROMOTION TECHNIQUES IMPLEMENTED OVER COMPUTER NETWORKS
Various techniques are described herein for providing ticketing reservation and purchasing functionality for enabling and/or facilitating users in performing activities/operations relating to group ticket reservations and/or automated conditional ticket purchases for various types of events which are scheduled to occur at one or more different venues.
Methods and systems for measuring brand uplift for search campaigns
Systems and methods for measuring brand uplift in a computer networked environment is provided. A data processing system can assign a first set of device identifiers to an experimental arm and a second set of device identifiers to a control arm. Computing devices associated with the experimental arm receive third-party content items promoting a brand for which a brand uplift experiment is performed, while computing devices associated with the control arm do not receive third-party content items promoting the brand. At the end of the experiment, a brand uplift metric value is computed by analyzing search query logs of the computing devices. The brand uplift metric value is then provided to an advertiser for display.
ONBOARDING FEATURE CUES
One or more client devices, systems, and/or methods for onboarding feature cues for a product are provided. A feature cue and an existing feature cue, comprising eligible feature cues (e.g., feature cues that a user has not viewed, are relevant to the user, etc.), are provided to a dispatching component (e.g., configured to provide feature cues to users). A presentation hierarchy, of the feature cue and the existing feature cue, is determined based upon feature cue rules and user parameters. The feature cue, having a first hierarchical position in the presentation hierarchy, is presented to the user, through a client device hosting the product, at a first time. The existing feature cue, having a second hierarchical position in the presentation hierarchy, is presented to the user, through the client device, at a second time, where the first time and the second time are determined by the feature cue rules.
Audio-out-of-home streaming at a retail location
Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to segmenting the overall audio content streaming baseline into music content item segments and advertisement segment based on advertisement streaming parameters. Each music content item is dynamically determined to be streamed based on music content item parameters associated with the music content item segment. The music content item parameters are dynamically adjusted as each music content item is streamed during each music content item segment based on a duration of time remaining in the music content item segment. Each advertisement to stream is determined based on advertisement parameters. The advertisement parameters are dynamically adjusted as each advertisement is streamed during each advertisement segment based on a remaining quantity of advertisements remaining to be streamed. Each music content item is streamed as dynamically determined during each music content item segment and each advertisement is dynamically streamed during each advertisement segment.
Nested Media Container, Panel and Organizer
A method for the organizing, managing, mapping, distributing, transportation and displaying of multi-layered content and/or data in a tactile volumetric (three-dimensional), flat (two-dimensional) and/or multi-dimensional container and/or panel which functions as a macro controller through tactile, sensatory, audible and/or other forms of user control. This includes the means to manipulate content and/or data through a visual and/or multi-sensatory interface that stores content and media in a nested and sub-nested hierarchical container and sub-container array which can give real-time feedback to any involved party. These containers and/or panels provide a means to permanently move and validate content between servers, devices and/or users, while giving a real-time visual and/or multi-sensatory response and representation to that user. This system also provides a means to ingest and convert legacy media formats.
