TRANSACTION AND COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR VENDORS AND PROMOTERS
Transaction and communication systems and methods are disclosed for vendors and promoters. Some embodiments disclosed herein provide a deal manager system comprising transaction data associated with the promotional activities of one or more promoters, such as promoters registered with the deal manager system. The deal manager system can process the transaction data and provide compensation to promoters for their promotional activities based at least partly thereon. In certain embodiments, at least a portion of the transaction data can be provided to one or more vendors. A vendor may direct that benefits or promotional material be provided to a subset of promoters based at least in part on the received transaction data. The deal manager system may include promoter contact information, and materials provided by the vendor may be conveyed by the deal manager system to certain promoters based on the same.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR VISUAL SEARCH AND AUTONOMOUS DELIVERY
A delivery control system includes a communication device configured to receive an image of a product from a computing device of a customer, at least one processor, and a memory storing instructions which, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the delivery control system to perform an image recognition process on the image to identify at least one product based on the image, transmit the identified at least one product to the computing device via the communication device, receive from the computing device a product selected by the customer from among the identified at least one product, and instruct an robot vehicle to deliver the selected product to the customer.
CART FOR USE IN PROVIDING SERVICE TO PASSENGERS IN A VEHICLE
A cart for providing service to passengers in a vehicle. The cart includes a housing having a storage volume with one or more openings to the storage volume, opposite housing sidewalls, and wheels connected to the bottom of the housing. The cart also includes a wireless communication module supported by the housing, with the wireless communication module configured to establish a data communications link in accordance with at least one wireless communication protocol. A data processor is supported by the housing and connected in communication with the wireless communication module with the data processor executing a control system, and the control system receiving information via the data communications link. Sidewalls of the housing support an electronic display connected in communication to the control system and displaying information in accordance with commands received from the control system.
Providing recommended items
Techniques for providing a number of items may be described. For example, a request for a delivery of an item within a time frame may be received. An additional item may be determined based at least in part on the item and the time frame. Both items may be scheduled for delivery based at least in part on the time frame. Information associated with the items and including an option to accept a delivery of the additional item may be provided. If the option may have been selected, a delivery of the additional item may be caused.
ELECTRONIC DISPLAY SYSTEMS CONNECTED TO VEHICLES AND VEHICLE-BASED SYSTEMS
Electronic digital display systems, including roadside display devices, vehicle-based devices, personal mobile devices, intermediary servers, advertising servers, and/or additional external data sources may operate individually or in combination to identify one or more vehicle locations, driving routes, driver and passenger characteristics, and the like. Vehicle and individual characteristics may be determined based on data received from traffic cameras, vehicle-based devices, personal mobile devices, and/or other data sources. Based on the vehicle characteristics, individual characteristics, driving data and driving patterns, and the like, digital content may be determined for electronic roadside displays to be viewable by the approaching vehicles, and/or other digital display devices to be viewable by associated individuals via other display devices and at other times. Various techniques may be used to determine customized digital content. Additionally, certain systems may be interactive to allow user responses and follow-up content via on-board vehicle devices or other user devices.
METHODS FOR INTERACTING WITH AUTONOMOUS OR SEMI-AUTONOMOUS VEHICLE
Provided herein is a system for precise delivery of an item to a consumer by an autonomous or semi-autonomous vehicle. The system performs image recognition algorithms to detect a primary entrance, navigate from a street address to the primary entrance, and to validate the customer upon delivery.
