Method for Vehicle Users to Generate Advertising Revenue and Display Notices of Missing Children & Emergency Alerts
A method of creating fees or other revenue for vehicle display users who own or lease display and portable transmitting/receiving equipment. A party running an advertising server transmits and receives communications from the portable transmitter/receiver. The transmitter/receiver functions both to select and display advertisements and offers but also to display emergency and missing children alerts that are received through the emergency broadcast system. Vehicle display users may also generate their own local ads and offers. Responders to the advertisements and offers participate by downloading an app from their cell phone app store that allows them to receive messages when the potential responder are in the vicinity of the vehicle user advertising display. The advertising server records activity generated by vehicle user displays and collects revenue from advertising sources and distributes revenue to the vehicle display user.
Vehicle crate for blade processors
Methods, systems, and a computer readable medium are provided for a vehicle containing multiple blade processors for performing vehicle and/or infotainment tasks, functions, and operations. The blade processors can be included in a crate having a first communication zone defining a trusted network within the vehicle to connect with trusted computational devices and/or modules provided or certified by the vehicle manufacturer but not untrusted computational devices and/or modules provided by vehicle occupants, a second communication zone defining an untrusted network to connect with the untrusted computational devices and/or modules, and a third communication zone providing power and data transmission to the blade processors. Windows including sunroofs of a car may be enabled to display cinematic video, still pictures, opaque content, or picturesque content such as the countryside to simulate various environments while driving. For example, a computer-implemented method includes obtaining data associated with a vehicle service instance. The method includes determining, based on the data associated with the vehicle service instance, a first advertisement content item for a display device positioned on an exterior of a vehicle assigned to the vehicle service instance and a second advertisement content item for a user device associated with the vehicle service instance. The method includes communicating data that initiates the display of the first advertisement content item for the display device positioned on the exterior of the vehicle and data that initiates the display of the second advertisement content item for the user device.
Systems and methods for providing updatable roadway codes
Systems and methods for providing updatable roadway codes are described. One embodiment of a method includes locating a roadway code along a roadway and determining stored data provided by the roadway code. Some embodiments include providing at least a portion of the stored data to the user and capturing environmental data along the roadway, where the environmental data corresponds with the stored data. Still some embodiments include comparing the stored data with the environmental data to determine whether the stored data is accurate and in response to determining that the stored data is not accurate, providing a communication to update the stored data.

Described herein are various systems and processes for vehicles for delivery of real-time, on-demand orders for perishable goods, and operations thereof. The automated delivery vehicle may include a food transport container and various sensors configured to determine the location and/or surroundings of the vehicle. The automated delivery vehicle may further include a display and/or other output source configured to provide outputs to persons surrounding the automated delivery vehicle. Such outputs may include, for example, an information graphical representation (e.g., provided on a display), an audio output, and/or data communicated to a wireless device.

Transaction and communication systems and methods are disclosed for vendors and promoters. Some embodiments disclosed herein provide a deal manager system comprising transaction data associated with the promotional activities of one or more promoters, such as promoters registered with the deal manager system. The deal manager system can process the transaction data and provide compensation to promoters for their promotional activities based at least partly thereon. In certain embodiments, at least a portion of the transaction data can be provided to one or more vendors. A vendor may direct that benefits or promotional material be provided to a subset of promoters based at least in part on the received transaction data. The deal manager system may include promoter contact information, and materials provided by the vendor may be conveyed by the deal manager system to certain promoters based on the same.
