Systems and methods for autonomous delivery management are disclosed. In various embodiments, the system includes one or more processors and a memory storing instructions which, when executed by the processor(s), cause the autonomous delivery management system to provide a user interface for a customer to enter subscription information, receive subscription information from the user interface where the subscription information includes an item and a time interval for regularly delivering the item to the customer, store the subscription information, determine a handling itinerary for the item that includes delivery of the item in compliance with the time interval, and communicate instructions to an autonomous vehicle based on the handling itinerary.

A system and method for implementing a one-stop advertising campaign through a non-digital advertising medium provides a single platform for an advertiser to implement an advertisement on a non-digital advertising medium. The advertiser, through a one-click functionality on the platform, selects the advertising medium, the advertising-related workers to implement the advertisement, the advertising costs, and the timeline for advertising on the advertising medium. One or more advertising-related workers upload skill sets and fees for the advertiser to review before selecting. The system generates recommendations of appropriate workers to implement the advertisement campaign based on needs of the advertiser. The system also integrates sensors and/or positioning systems into the advertising media to detect the numbers, physical features, relative position, and movement pattern of consumers in proximity to the advertising medium. This allows a processor and algorithms to generate consumer data useful to the advertiser for marketing and setting advertising costs.

Methods for in-vehicle contextual promotions are described herein. In a first method a driver receives an in-vehicle promotion (for either food or fuel) based on a time of day, their location, route, favorite items, favorite vendors, and nearby vendors. The driver taps the promotion and receives a list of favorite items. The driver makes a selection of the favorite items, makes a payment for the selected product using an e-wallet, and picks up the selected product. In a second method, the driver may receive an in-vehicle promotion, including a “remind me later” link. When the user taps on the link, they may then access the promotion at a later time on their mobile phone app outside of the vehicle. The user taps on the saved link and is redirected to a vendor's website. The user may make a purchase for a product at the vendor's website at this later time.

The vehicle control system/method for adapting a control function based on a user profile may comprise: a gesture recognition module; a user profile module; a function control module; a processor; a non-transitory storage element coupled to the processor; encoded instructions stored in the non-transitory storage element, wherein the encoded instructions when implemented by the processor, configure the system to: identify a user; retrieve a user profile for the identified user; receive at a gesture recognition module, an input indicating a gesture from the user; identify a control function request corresponding to the gesture input; send a verification of the control function request; and receive at a function control module characteristics parsed from the user profile that effect the control function request by the user profile module to adapt a control function command for an adapted control function output by the function control module.

This disclosure is generally directed to systems and methods for displaying targeted advertisements on a vehicle. In an example method in accordance with the disclosure, a camera that is mounted on the vehicle captures an image of an individual who may have a view of an exterior portion of the vehicle (such as a side portion, a front-facing portion, or a rear-facing portion). The image is evaluated by a controller based on various classification criteria such as, for example, an ethnicity, an age bracket, and/or a gender of the individual. The controller may further evaluate an audio clip of the individual captured by a microphone mounted on the vehicle. A targeted advertisement that specifically targets the individual is selected based on the evaluation of the image and/or the audio clip. The targeted advertisement is displayed on the exterior portion of the vehicle that is viewable by the individual.

An information processing apparatus includes a control unit configured to execute the processing of obtaining location information of an advertisement displaying vehicle capable of displaying advertising information on a display apparatus arranged to face outside, finding a plurality of advertisement target vehicles present in the vicinity of the advertisement displaying vehicle based on the location information, obtaining attribute information indicating attributes of occupants of the plurality of advertisement target vehicles, selecting advertising information to be displayed by the display apparatus on the basis of the attribute information, and causing the display apparatus to display the selected advertising information.

The disclosure provides systems and methods for ordering goods and services using a vehicle and for delivering the goods and services to the vehicle.

Technologies are generally described for context sensitive display of final delivery information on a consumable delivery vehicle with enroute preparation. A controller may manage fulfillment of orders while the vehicle is enroute by controlling an operation of one or more on-board preparation equipment. The controller may also receive order status information and travel information associated with final delivery destinations. Once the vehicle is at its destination to be used as a hub for final deliveries, one or more displays on the vehicle may display final delivery information to final delivery people based on the status information and the travel information.

A control device as an advertisement display device that is mountable on a vehicle includes a calculation unit configured to calculate a time for which an occupant of another vehicle is able to visually recognize a video displayed on a display attached to a host vehicle based on a driving state of the host vehicle, and a display controller configured to display an advertisement edited such that a video time corresponds to the visually recognizable time calculated by the calculation unit on the display.

An information displaying apparatus includes an information display disposed on a vehicle and oriented so content displayed on the information display is visible outside of the vehicle; and circuitry configured to control the content displayed on the information display, wherein in a first mode the content includes distribution information provided from a content server and in a second mode the content includes captured image information captured by a camera disposed on the vehicle.
