A method includes causing a computer of a communication terminal to perform a process including acquiring, in response to receipt of a beacon signal from a vending machine, identification information, type information of a plurality of drinks, and stock information of the plurality of drinks from the vending machine by using short-range wireless communication; transmitting a user ID of a user of the communication terminal to a personal information server; acquiring biological information that includes a body temperature or a body water percentage of the user corresponding to the user ID from the personal information server; generating, based on the identification information, the type information, the stock information, and the biological information, a push notification screen that recommends at least one drink suitable for hydrating the user to prevent heatstroke; and displaying the push notification screen on a display of the communication terminal.

A method includes causing a computer of a communication terminal to perform a process including acquiring, in response to receipt of a beacon signal from a vending machine, identification information of the vending machine and type information of drinks in the vending machine from the vending machine; transmitting a user ID of a user of the communication terminal to a first server that securely manages personal information including preference information on drinks of the user; acquiring from the first server, the preference information of the user corresponding to the user ID; acquiring weather information of a current location of the communication terminal; generating, based on the acquired pieces of information, a push notification screen that recommends at least one drink that matches a preference of the user indicated by the preference information in relation to weather indicated by the weather information; and displaying the push notification screen.

Embodiments are provided that facilitate launching of particular application program(s) determined as associated with an installed state on a mobile computing device without causing execution of such application program(s) or otherwise negatively impacting the performance of such application program(s). Example embodiments of the present disclosure are configured to, via a promotion application executed on a mobile computing device: receive user input selecting a first impression associated with a separate application program comprising a first additional application program separate from the promotion application program; programmatically initiate detection of an installation state associated with the separate application program; determine the installation state indicates the separate application program is installed; and in response to determining the installation state indicates the separate application program is installed, automatically initiate launch of the separate application program on the mobile computing device to cause rendering of determined information corresponding to the first impression.

A method for processing a mobile advertisement, a proxy server, and a terminal are provided. The method includes receiving, by a proxy server, an advertisement request from a proxy software development kit (SDK) embedded into an application. The advertisement request information carries an identifier of the application. The method further includes obtaining identifiers of corresponding advertisement networks and traffic allocation of the advertisement networks according to the identifier of the application. The method further includes selecting an identifier of an advertisement network according to the traffic allocation, and sending an advertisement information request to the corresponding advertisement network according to the selected identifier of the advertisement network. The method further includes receiving advertisement information from the corresponding advertisement network according to the advertisement information request, and sending the advertisement information to the proxy SDK such that the proxy SDK displays the advertisement information in an advertisement position of the application.

Embodiments provide a computer-executed method, a computer system and computer program product for initiating a command. The method includes causing a consumer input definition interface to be displayed on a visual display of a computing device associated with a consumer, wherein the consumer input definition interface includes an indication of a command. The method also includes, while the consumer input definition interface is displayed, receiving input definition data defining a consumer interaction by the consumer. The method also includes generating a compound consumer input based on the input definition data, and associating the compound consumer input with the command and the consumer. The method further includes storing the association between the compound consumer input and the command on a non-transitory storage device so that receipt of the compound consumer input from the consumer automatically initiates the command.

Techniques and system configurations for providing content to a mobile device based on activity in a physical commercial environment such as a retail store are described herein. Mobile devices that are operated by an associated customer may be tracked with the use of beacons to determine customer activities in the retail store, including particular areas visited in the store, activities conducted by the customer in the store, and like tracking information. The customer activity and data for the activities and locations in the physical environment may be correlated to an identifier, profile, or other tracking information. This tracking information may be subsequently used by the mobile device to identify the user to an advertising network, or other information service, and obtain customized media content and information.

Probing data comprising terminal identifier data is received by a broadcast device, the terminal identifier data identifying terminals that are located within a predetermined distance of the broadcast device. The probing data is uploaded by the broadcast device to a server. An information pushing condition is matched by the server based on the terminal identifier data. Information corresponding to an information pushing condition matching the terminal identifier data is pushed by the server to the broadcast device. The received corresponding information is broadcast by the broadcast device.

A method of displaying media content on a display screen of a communication device. The method includes receiving an indication of a state transition of a first Activity of an application program being executed on a processor of the communication device. The processor, in response to the indication, executes program code in order to monitor a memory state of the operating system so as to determine a user interface state associated with the first Activity. The processor further determines whether the first Activity is finishing based at least in part on the user interface state. Upon determining the first Activity is finishing, the processor causes the media content to be displayed upon further determining that a predetermined condition associated with the communication device exists.

An apparatus that receives service provider location data of one or more service provider mobile devices comprising first global positioning system (GPS) data from the one or more service provider mobile devices, and retrieves, from a wireless carrier system, consumer location data based at least in part on second GPS data associated with a plurality of consumer mobile devices, wherein the one or more geographic regions are associated with the plurality of consumer mobile devices that are located at a same given location or within a threshold distance of the same given location. The apparatus further transmits push notifications alerting at least a subset of the plurality of consumer mobile devices based on at least in part on the determination that the service provider location data is within the one or more geographic regions.
