Point of sale system with customer-facing device and product-sensing devices
In one implementation, a checkout lane includes a point-of-sale terminal configured to complete a transaction, a payment terminal configured to receive payment information and securely transmit payment information, and a customer-facing device configured to add a product to the transaction.
Targeted content delivery, playback, and tracking
A presence of a consumer transacting at a transaction terminal is detected. Content for the transaction terminal is played as media on the transaction terminal. When an identity of the consumer is resolved, the content is switched to new content that is targeted/customized to the consumer and is played as new media on the transaction terminal. When a transaction concludes, the media play is stopped. Statistics for the transaction and media play are retained for tracking and reporting.
Cognitive retail facing
In an approach to cognitive retail facing, one or more computer processors receive data associated with a shelf facing of one or more products on display. Based, at least in part, on the received shelf facing data, the one or more computer processors determine whether the shelf facing matches a predetermined pattern. In response to determining the shelf facing does not match a predetermined pattern, the one or more computer processors generate one or more instructions to adjust the one or more products to match the predetermined pattern. The one or more computer processors transmit the generated one or more instructions to one or more autonomous robots.
Secure electronic transaction authorization on tokenized identifiers and location data
Systems and methods for applying a promotion to a payment transaction originating at a point of sale system of a merchant are described. Transactional information is provided to an acquirer computing system of the merchant. Based on identifying indicia associated with the transactional information, the acquirer computing system determines whether to modify the payment transaction messaging before communicating it along to an issuer computing system.
TOUCHLESS AND DATA MANAGEMENT DRINK DISPENSING DEVICE
A drink dispensing device including one or more processors, a drink dispensing item located above a drink container positioning area, and a first sensor to determine when a drink container is located in the drink container positioning area, where the one or more processors initiate a drink container filling operation based on a first signal from the first sensor that the drink container is located in the drink container positioning area.
TRANSACTION MODIFICATION BASED ON MODELED PROFILES
Transaction modification based on modeled profiles is described. In an example, transaction data can be received from merchant computing devices associated with merchants associated with a payment processing system. A model can be trained to generate profiles using, as training data, one or more of merchant data, buyer data, or the transaction data. Upon receiving an indication of a particular transaction between a buyer and a merchant, it can be determined that a characteristic of the transaction corresponds to a profile of the generated profiles. Based on the determination that the characteristic corresponds to the profile and the transaction data, a recommendation can be generated for a modification of the transaction to add an item or replace an item.
OPTIMIZING REAL-TIME BIDDING USING CONVERSION TRACKING TO PROVIDE DYNAMIC ADVERTISEMENT PAYLOADS
A method including receiving data including an impression value and an attribution value for a list item in an advertising campaign is provided. The method includes correlating the data with multiple advertising attributes of the advertising campaign to identify a salient attribute for an expected result of the advertising campaign. The method also includes modifying the salient attribute in an advertisement payload for the list item and providing the advertisement payload including the salient attribute to a server in a network for distribution among users communicatively coupled to the network. A system and a non-transitory, computer-readable medium storing instructions to cause the system to perform the above method are also provided.
ESTIMATING TIME FOR IMPLEMENTING CHANGES TO DISPLAY FIXTURES
Systems and methods relating to estimating a time required to implement changes to a display fixture. A user enters an identification of a display fixture and a display element to be changed on the display fixture. The system retrieves change data relating to display element locations affected by the change and determines how much time, based on historical change data, the change should take.
Offline shopping guide method and apparatus
Embodiments of the specification provide offline shopping guide methods and apparatuses. One method includes: obtaining a user identifier (ID) of a user and a scene ID of a shopping venue; obtaining historical offline shopping data and historical online shopping data of the user according to the user ID, and obtaining commodity information of the shopping venue according to the scene ID; obtaining a commodity to be recommended to the user according to the historical offline shopping data, the historical online shopping data, and the commodity information; and sending augmented reality (AR) display information of the recommended commodity to a smart terminal of the user, so that the smart terminal displays the recommended commodity to the user in an AR mode.
BLAZE DIGITAL STORE TRANSACTION SERVER
A method and system for conducting an online payment transaction through a point of sale device. The method includes receiving input from a user selecting an item for purchase through the point of sale device; calculating a total purchase amount for the item in response to a request from the user to purchase the item; and sending payment authorization for the total purchase amount from the point of sale device to a payment entity, in which the payment authorization is sent to the payment entity via a mobile communication device of the user. The method further includes receiving a result of the payment authorization from the payment entity through the mobile communication device; and completing the payment transaction based on the result of the payment authorization.
