Systems and methods for POP display and wireless beacon engagement with mobile devices
Systems and methods for using wireless beacons in point of purchase (“POP”) displays to facilitate the delivery of consumer oriented content to mobile devices is disclosed herein. Wireless beacons may be used to broadcast wireless signals from POP displays, where the wireless signals include data packets with unique identifiers for the wireless beacons. One of the wireless signals may be received by a mobile device. Upon receiving the wireless signal with the unique identifier, the mobile device may inspect its memory cache for content related to the POP displays. If needed, the mobile device may request up-to-date content from a remote server. Up-to-date content may be displayed on a display of the mobile device.
INTERACTIVE AROMA DISPENSING SYSTEM
An aroma dispensing system is provided. The aroma dispensing system includes an aroma blending device adapted to deliver at least one aroma substance to the nasal cavities of a consumer; a user interface configured for inputting and displaying information regarding the at least one aroma substance, and a memory component that stores a computer algorithm, the computer algorithm causing the system to analyze the input information in real-time in order to classify aroma preferences of the consumer, including recommending one or more in-store consumer products suitable to the consumer's aroma preferences.
Early activation of mobile device to enable use at service terminal
A communication system (100) comprises a service terminal (ST) and a first transmitter function (TX1) in or at the service terminal (ST). The first transmitter function (TX1) is configured for sending a first short-range wireless communication signal (S1) to cause a first reaction (R1) when received by a mobile device (MD) being located within a first distance (D1) or distance range (DR1) from the service terminal (ST). The communication system (100) also comprises a second transmitter function (TX2) in or at the service terminal (ST). The second transmitter function (TX2) is configured for sending a second short-range wireless communication signal (S2) to cause a second reaction (R2) when received by the mobile device (MD) being located within a second distance (D2) or distance range (DR2) from the service terminal (ST), the second distance (D2) or distance range (DR2) being closer to the service terminal (ST) than the first distance (D1) or distance range (DR1).
Method and System for Monitoring the Presence of A Point-Of-Sale Display in A Shop, at the Sight of Consumers
Method for monitoring the presence of a point-of-sale display in a shop, at the sight of consumers, the method comprising: acquiring signals from mobile devices by at least one signal sensor, sending one output from the signal sensor to an analyzing device, wherein the analyzing device: calculates an audience rate of the point-of-sale display on the basis of the output, and determines, on the basis of the audience rate, if the point-of-sale display is in the shop at the sight of consumers or not.
Portable interactive product displays with region-specific products
Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are disclosed for systems and methods for portable interactive product displays with region-specific products. Example methods may include determining a set of product identifiers of products to be positioned at an interactive display, the set of product identifiers including a first product identifier for a first product, determining a user identifier associated with a user device positioned within a distance of the interactive display, and determining a user interaction with the first product by a user of the user device. Certain methods may include determining a user interaction history for the user using the user identifier, and determining that an indication of the user interaction is to be added to the user interaction hi story.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TRIGGERING AN EVENT IN RESPONSE TO A POINT-OF-SALE TRANSACTION
A method of triggering an event based on occurrence of a POS transaction is provided in which an event processing server receives from a first user device associated with a first account, a first event triggering request. The request includes identification of a desired event to be triggered and first triggering criteria. The desired event is to be initiated by the event processing server upon occurrence of one or more POS transactions collectively meeting the first triggering criteria. The event processing server receives, from a transaction processing server, notification of an occurrence of a merchant POS transaction associated with the first account. The event processing server determines whether the occurrence of the merchant POS transaction results in the first triggering criteria having been met, and, if so initiates the desired event.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ADVERTISING BY MEANS OF BACK OF CASH REGISTER PAPER
Disclosed are a system and a method for advertising by means of back of a cash register paper, the system includes a cloud advertisement server, at least one advertisement releasing terminal, and a plurality of duplex printers, the cloud advertisement server is wirelessly connected to the advertisement releasing terminal and the duplex printers respectively; the advertisement releasing terminal is configured for receiving advertisement contents input by a user, generating advertisement information, and sending advertisement information to the cloud advertisement server; the cloud advertisement server is configured for receiving the advertisement information sent by the advertisement releasing terminal, generating corresponding advertisement pushing information, and sending the advertisement pushing information to the duplex printers; and each of the duplex printers is configured for receiving the advertisement pushing information and printing corresponding advertisement information on back of a cash register paper while printing cash register information.
