Advertisement Generating System
An advertisement generating system comprises a database of advertisement templates and a controller operable to: a. access the database to correlate product related data with the advertisement template to selectively retrieve one or more advertisement templates associated with the product, b. output at least partially completed advertisement. The advertisement generating system may comprise a client device such as a point of sale or a service point device, e.g. a weighing scale.
Vending devices having ad-watching as consideration
Systems and methods for vending devices having ad-watching as consideration are described. In some implementations, a vending apparatus includes a dispensing portion operable to dispense a product (e.g. electricity) to a user; a communication portion operable to provide a communicable content (e.g. an advertisement) to the user; and a control system operatively coupled to the dispensing portion and the communication portion. The control system receives a signal indicative of a consent by the user to receive or review the communicable content at least partially in exchange for the product, and after receipt of the signal, causes the communication portion to provide the communicable content to the user and causes the dispensing portion to dispense the product to the user. In further implementations, the apparatus may include a monitoring system operable to determine whether the user is receiving or reviewing the communicable content.
Systems and methods regarding point-of-recognition optimization of onsite user purchases at a physical location
Systems and methods are described for a point-of-recognition optimizer system configured to optimize onsite user purchases at a physical location. In various aspects, a purchasable-unit identifier (ID) may be received via a computer transmission, where the purchasable-unit ID, as identified by an optimizer device, is associated with a recognized purchasable-unit located onsite with the optimizer device. Based on the purchasable-unit ID, a plurality of competing purchasable-units may be identified, which may be either onsite or offsite purchasable-units. An offer is transmitted via a second computer transmission for an offered purchasable-unit to the optimizer device where the offer originates from an outbidding purchasable-unit distributor, and where the outbidding purchasable-unit distributor outbid other competing purchasable-unit distributors, each distributor corresponding to the plurality of competing purchasable-units, for an opportunity for the optimizer device to receive the offer.
Point-of-sale method, terminal, and computer-readable medium
There is disclosed a method, a point-of-sale terminal, and a computer-readable storage medium. The point-of-sale terminal may generate transaction information for a commercial transaction, the transaction information including customer information and purchase information. The point-of-sale terminal may generate nutritional information based on the purchase information. The point-of-sale terminal may send the customer information, the purchase information, and location information identifying a location of the POS terminal to an advertising server, and may receive responsive advertising content from the advertising server. The point-of-sale terminal may print a receipt including the transaction information, the nutritional information, and the advertising content.
Coupon processing system including instant redeemable coupon redemption based upon short message service short code and related methods
A coupon processing system may include a promotions server and a mobile wireless communications device associated with a purchaser and having a device identification (ID) associated therewith. The mobile device may acquire a product identifier image for a given product having an incentive associated therewith and communicate the product identifier image to the promotions server using a short message service short code. The mobile device may also communicate a geographic location and the device ID to the promotions server. The promotions server may assign the incentive to a digital wallet for the purchaser based upon the product identifier image and redeem the incentive based upon the geographic location of the mobile device.
SALES PROMOTION IN ACCORDANCE WITH ELECTRONIC RECEIPT ISSUANCE
A point-of-sale terminal includes a code reader, a communication interface, a memory device, a control panel, and a processor. The processor is configured to control the communication interface to transmit a customer code read by the code reader to an electronic receipt server, store in the memory device, a number of times electronic receipts have been issued in association with the customer code, the number of times being provided by the electronic receipt server to the communication interface, store in the memory device, transaction details based on one or more product codes read by the code reader, determine whether or not a sales promotion is to be offered based on the number of times, in response to a user input to complete the transaction on the control panel, and generate receipt information based on the transaction detail stored in the memory device and the offered sales promotion, if any.
Digital Signage Control Device, Digital Signage Control Program, And Digital Signage System
A digital signage control device according to the present invention is a digital signage control apparatus for distributing information to be displayed on a digital signage via a network, which digital signage control apparatus includes a storage part configured to store advertisement contents of a store; a detection part configured to detect a vacant number of store facilities to be provided to a user; and a distribution part configured to distribute information corresponding to the vacant number of the store facilities to the digital signage, wherein the distribution part distributes the information on the number of vacant store facilities when the vacant number of the store facilities is larger than a predetermined remaining number, and advertisement content information of the store, in place of the information on the number of vacant store facilities, when the vacant number of the store facilities is smaller than the predetermined remaining number.
EVALUATION DEVICE, EVALUATION SYSTEM, AND EVALUATION PROGRAM
An evaluation device includes a salesperson evaluation unit 22 evaluating each salesperson from a status relevant to the sales of a product subjected to a sales promotion by each of the salespersons, on the basis of an association between sales status information of the product on an EC site and salesperson information, and a store evaluation unit 23 evaluating a store from the overall status relevant to the sales of the product subjected to the sales promotion by each of the salespersons, on the basis of an association between the sales status information, the salesperson information, and store information indicating the store to which the salesperson belongs, in which when the salesperson performs the sales promotion on the EC site, by not only evaluating the salesperson oneself, on the basis of the status relevant to the sales of the product, but also evaluating the store to which the salesperson belongs, on the basis of the overall status relevant to the sales of the product subjected to the sales promotion by each of the salespersons belonging to the store, it is possible to inhibit a store manager from suppressing the implementation of a digital customer service by the salesperson, and improve a sales performance of the product by increasing the motivation of the salesperson.
Determining pricing information from merchant data
A service provider may receive item price information and/or point of sale (POS) transaction information from a plurality of merchant devices associated with a plurality of merchants. The service provider may categorize the plurality of merchants according to the types of items offered by the respective merchants, and may further categorize the merchants according to the locations at which they conduct business. The service provider may subsequently determine a price recommendation or other pricing information for a particular item offered by a particular merchant. A merchant device of the particular merchant may present the pricing information in a user interface that enables the merchant to view projected sales at various different price points. Further, the merchant may be able to specify one or more factors used for determining the recommend price, such as a desired business model, a desired clientele, a desired profit margin, or the like.
