Systems and methods for using wireless beacons in point of purchase (POP) displays to facilitate the delivery of consumer oriented content to mobile devices is disclosed herein. A processor coupled to a wireless beacon may record information obtained from sensors coupled to a POP display. The sensors may assess environmental activity and/or user activity around the POP display. A mobile device may record information about interactions between the mobile device and the wireless beacon and store the information in a memory cache on the mobile device. The information from the processor and the mobile device may be transmitted to a remote server via wireless communication from both the processor and the mobile device at selected times.

Systems and methods for using wireless beacons in point of purchase (POP) displays to facilitate the delivery of consumer oriented content to mobile devices is disclosed herein. Wireless beacons may be used to broadcast wireless signals from POP displays, where the wireless signals include data packets with unique identifiers for the wireless beacons. A wireless signal from a POP display may be received by a mobile device. The mobile device may provide the unique identifier in the wireless signal and a geographic location of the mobile device to a remote server. The remote server may assess the location of the POP display based on the unique identifier for the wireless beacon and the provided geographic location of the mobile device.

Facilitating consumer payments and redemptions of deal offers

Provided herein are systems, methods and computer readable storage media for facilitating payments for consumer transactions and redemption of deal offerings. In various embodiments, the present invention is directed to a computer-implemented method for a track data point-of-sale platform. The computer-implemented method comprises receiving a transaction request by a processor configured to process point-of sale transactions. The transaction request comprises at least one parameter associated with a payment instrument configured for use in the point-of-sale transaction. The computer-implemented method further comprises identifying, by the processor, a transaction request type characterized by an identifier in at least one parameter associated with the payment instrument. The computer-implemented method further comprises processing, by the processor, the transaction request, according to the transaction request type. The computer-implemented method further comprises generating, by the processor, a response to the transaction request.

DETERMINING ITEM RECOMMENDATIONS FROM MERCHANT DATA

Buyer profile management is described herein. In an example, a payment processing service can store, in a database, buyer profiles associated with buyers involved in point-of-sale (POS) transactions with one or more merchants of the payment processing service. The payment processing service can receive transaction data associated with a new POS transaction between a buyer and a merchant and can determine whether the transaction data corresponds to any of the buyer profiles. Based at least in part on determining whether the transaction data corresponds to any of the buyer profiles, the payment processing service can update the database storing the buyer profiles, wherein updating the database comprises (i) associating the transaction data with an existing buyer profile, (ii) merging two or more buyer profiles, or (iii) adding a new buyer profile.

System and method for contextual services experience

A contextual services delivery system may comprise a services repository containing services instructions and a contextual services delivery module. The contextual services delivery module may deliver different contextual services to a smartphone and/or a POS terminal in response to a context environment, in order to provide a user with a customized contextual services experience.

A wireless device is enabled to provide offers. The wireless device receives card data for a financial account card and stores the card data in a memory associated with the wireless device. Responsive to using the card data in a transaction at a first merchant location, the wireless device receives transaction line-item data from a computing system associated with the first merchant location. The wireless device determines merchant information for a second merchant location and determines an offer associated with the second merchant location based on the line-item data and the merchant information for the second merchant. The wireless device presents the offer when the wireless device is near the second merchant location.
