Methods and systems for recommending to a first user media assets for inclusion in a playlist for a second user based on the second user's viewing activity
Systems and methods for providing a first user with recommendations of media assets for inclusion in a playlist for a second user based on the second user's viewing activity. These systems and methods receive, from the second user, an expression of disinterest in a media asset included in the playlist for the second user, update a user profile associated with the second user based on the expression of disinterest, and determine a recommendation for another media asset based on the updated user profile associated with the second user. The systems and methods provide the recommendation to the first user. By recommending media assets that the second user is least likely to object to, these systems and methods reduce the frequency of disruptive requests for media assets from the second user.
PARAMETRIC TRACKING AND TRIGGERING OF ADVERTISING EVENTS IN ONLINE MULTIMEDIA ENVIRONMENTS
A method for providing, to a consumer in a mobile device, a digital content to be displayed on the mobile device, is disclosed. The method includes requesting non-personally identifiable information from a consumer in a pixel script of the advertisement payload, tracking an event trigger in the pixel script, the event trigger configured to fire upon completion of a selected portion of the advertising payload, and modifying a consumer account based on the event trigger and the non-personally identifiable information. The method also includes providing an updated feature of the consumer account to a retail store when a configured rule in the pixel script is satisfied. A system including a memory storing instructions to cause the system to execute the above method is also provided.
USER CONTROL OF ANONYMIZED PROFILING DATA USING PUBLIC AND PRIVATE BLOCKCHAINS IN AN ELECTRONIC AD MARKETPLACE
The disclosure relates to securing and enabling user control of profiling data, blockchain-driven matching of users and advertiser-identified anonymous profiling data records of interest, and smart contracts encoded by blockchain for executing transactions. The system may include an anonymized database of profiling data, which is unlinked to any user. The system may implement a private blockchain to store user-defined settings that provide user control over whether and how the profiling data may be used. If a grant to use the data is received, a link is stored that allows the system to identify a user associated with the anonymous profiling data records. If the grant is revoked, the link may be removed. The system may also implement public blockchain technology to record a public information relating to grants, online marketing transactions, making them verifiable, immutable, and transparent for various stakeholders including advertisers, publishers, and users.

A system includes a first computing device client associated with a first user in a community of users operable to send content to publish to a data aggregation server. The data aggregation server is operable to receive the content to publish from the first computing device client, host a first user profile associated with the first user of the first computing device client, the first user profile identifying a targeted recipient in the community of users, and disseminate automatically the content received from the first computing device client to a second computing device client associated with the targeted recipient, without receiving input from the first computing device client explicitly specifying the targeted recipient to whom the content is disseminated.
Systems and Methods for Delivery of Advertisements Related to Public Announcements Onboard Mobile Vehicles
Technology is described for providing electronic advertisements on an aircraft. A server onboard the aircraft may receive a notification that a public announcement is occurring on the aircraft. The server may identify an announcement tag associated with the public announcement. The server may select an electronic advertisement based in part on the announcement tag associated with the public announcement. The electronic advertisement may be selected from a data store of electronic advertisements. The server may send the electronic advertisement to a client device to be displayed via a graphical user interface on the client device after the public announcement is finished.
