In some embodiments, apparatuses and methods are provided herein useful to mapping a space. In some embodiments, a system for mapping a space comprises a communication device configured to receive location data from a portable user device in a user space, a device location database configured to store location data, and a control circuit. The control circuit being configured to aggregate, over time, the location data in the user space from the portable user device and store the location data in the device location database, the location data comprising coordinates and timestamps associated with a plurality of locations, determine a plurality of dwell locations in the user space corresponding to locations where the portable user device rests based on the timestamps of the location data, and identify one or more objects in the user space based at least on the coordinates of the plurality of dwell locations.
COMPUTERIZED SYSTEM FOR FACILITATING SALE OF VENUE EVENT TICKETS
A system for facilitating sale of venue event tickets involves: a venue interface; a venue offering database containing records of: currently available tickets, past event ticket acceptances, and acceptance history data; a subscriber database containing, for individual subscribers, at least an identification, interests, and contact information; a pricing module which will identify at least one subscriber to whom ticket(s) should be offered, on an urgent basis, at a reduced price determined using an algorithm taking into account at least: subscriber location, time until start for the event, estimated travel time between subscriber location and venue, and content of the acceptance history data; a communications module which will proactively communicate urgent offers to specific subscribers identified by the pricing module; and an evaluation and learning module which employs unsupervised machine learning to analyze acceptance history data and modify the algorithm used by the pricing module.
COMPUTERIZED SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY CREATING AND COMMUNICATING MEDIA STREAMS OF DIGITAL CONTENT
Disclosed are systems and methods for improving interactions with and between computers in content generating, searching, hosting and/or providing systems supported by or configured with personal computing devices, servers and/or platforms. The systems interact to identify and retrieve data within or across platforms, which can be used to improve the quality of data used in processing interactions between or among processors in such systems. The disclosed systems and methods automatically identify and communicate media content to users as the media content is uploaded to the internet. The disclosed systems and methods leverage an internet hosted data firehose in order to build and communicate streams of content that are relevant to users' determined interests. Real-time analysis of the continuous stream of content results in curated media streams being created and communicated to users thereby stimulating social interactivity between users and automating the discovery of other users on a network.
SYSTEM FOR SHARING MUSICAL PREFERENCES
Systems and methods for facilitating user interaction based on musical preferences are described. In an embodiment, users are matched based on indication of the enjoyment of one another's musical playlists. In the embodiment, user's may only access the profile of another user if both users have indicated they have similar music preferences. In an embodiment, users are provided only with playlists from other users within a specified location range.
Analysis of controlled and automatic attention for introduction of stimulus material
An example system disclosed herein includes an analyzer to determine a first priming characteristic of media at a first location based on first neuro-response data and determine a second priming characteristic of the media at the second location based on second neuro-response data. The example system includes a selector to select a third location in the media after the first location or a fourth location in the media after the second location as a candidate location for introduction of advertising material based on the first priming characteristic and the second priming characteristic. The selector is to select the third location when the first priming characteristic indicates increased receptivity to the advertising material at the first location relative to the second priming characteristic and select the fourth location when the second priming characteristic indicates increased receptivity to the advertising material at the second location relative to the first priming characteristic.

Methods and systems for an aware sign are provided. According to one aspect, an aware sign comprises a visual display unit for displaying information to customers at a store, a processor, and a memory storing instructions executable by the one or more processors. The aware sign is operable to receive information (e.g., via a sensor input or a communication interface), determine, based on the received information, that the information being displayed by the visual display unit should change, and, upon a determination that the information being displayed should change, changing the information being displayed to customers, including an indication that the store is open or closed and/or an indication of the store's business operating hours. The aware sign provides a platform for a variety of features that are attractive for small business owners.
Computer-aided methods and apparatus to access materials in a network environment
A computer-aided learning method and apparatus for a learning user to learn materials inexpensively. Not only does the apparatus provide the user the freedom as to where and when to learn, and the guidance as to what to learn, the apparatus also reduces a significant hurdle to learning—money. The apparatus retrieves a user identifier entered by the user, and determines whether the user is a learning user or an institute user. If the user is a learning user, the apparatus allows the user to access information regarding learning materials. If the user is an institute user, the apparatus permits the user to access information regarding at least one learning user. The institute user might be interested to use the apparatus to recruit employees to fill job openings. A learning user pays significantly less than an institute user to access information, so as to encourage the learning user to work on learning materials. The apparatus can also track and update information regarding the users.
Methods and apparatus for providing information of interest to one or more users
Methods and system for providing information selected from a large set of digital content to at least one user. One such method comprises receiving user context information associated with the at least one user and identifying or generating, using at least one processor executing stored program instructions, a first concept in a semantic network, the first concept representing at least a portion of the user context information. The method further comprises obtaining at least one concept, including a second concept, semantically relevant to the first concept at least in part, by synthesizing the second concept based on the first concept and at least one other concept in the semantic network; and providing information to the at least one user, wherein the information is selected by using the first concept and the at least one obtained concept semantically relevant to the first concept, wherein the first concept in a semantic network is represented by a data structure storing any data associated with a node in the semantic network.

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide methods, systems, and computer-readable media for: tracking a location of a mobile asset configured to propagate through space, and associated with content to be transmitted to a device within a region defined by the location of the mobile asset as the mobile asset propagates through the space; defining the region surrounding the mobile asset that follows the mobile asset it propagates through the space; receiving an indication that the device is within the region defined by the location of the mobile asset; transmitting the content associated with the mobile asset to the device, wherein transmitting the content comprises confirming at least one of: a first condition defining an environment around the device, a second condition defining a path from the mobile asset to a destination; and a third condition identifying a plurality of brand assets within the region of the mobile asset.
Method, apparatus and system for facilitating targeted content delivery
A method is described of facilitating targeted content delivery in a network comprising at least one service provider network (SPN) and a user profile data database located externally to the SPN. A network device located externally to the SPN performs the method, which comprises accessing user profile data from the user profile database and receiving, from a demand side platform via the network, segment definition data comprising a list of user attributes and attribute values associated with a given targeted content delivery process. The method further comprises determining, for each identified user identified, to include the user in a list of candidate users to be targeted if user attribute values of the user match user attribute values from the received list. User identifiers for each entry in the list of candidate users are communicated to an entity in a first SPN responsible for facilitating the delivery of targeted content.
