Determining offers for a geofenced geographic area
Provided is a computer-implemented process for determining offers for a geofenced geographic area. After a mobile user device traverses a geofence, merchants associated with a geofence having a geofence identifier are identified. Candidate offers associated with the merchants are identified and ranked according to ranking criteria. The ranked candidate offers are transmitted to a mobile user device. The ranked candidate offers are cached on the mobile user device and presented to the user via an offers notification. The user may view and redeem an offer by selecting the offers notification.
Third-party provider method and system
Methods and systems for processing negotiable economic credits through, or at the request of, a hand held device in association with a third-party provider communicative with the hand held device and/or a point of sale. At least one negotiable economic credit can be transferred from a third-party provider communicative with the hand held device to the hand held device and/or point of sale. The negotiable economic credit can be stored within a memory of the hand held device and/or point of sale for retrieval and processing at a point of sale associated with a retail establishment and/or by a hand held device. The negotiable economic credit can be associated with a security module for protecting the privacy of the negotiable economic credit. A user profile can be compiled for utilization during the retrieval of the negotiable economic credit.
Systems and methods for targeted advertising on food and beverage preparation and dispensing machines
Providing targeted advertising on food/beverage preparation or dispensing machines may include electronically presenting selected targeted media on or in proximity to a food/beverage preparation or dispensing machine. This may involve automatically activating consumable item preparation or dispensing mechanisms of the food/beverage preparation or dispensing machine, or activating an item selection menu, in conjunction with electronically presenting the selected media. The targeted advertising may be based on receiving user input such as information identifying a particular user or consumer or menu selections and then selecting the selected media based on the received user input. User interface elements may also be provided enabling a user to request additional information regarding selected targeted media be electronically sent to them or an order be placed for a related product. Compensation to a user or another entity may be activated each time the selected media is played.
Systems and methods for identifying human emotions and/or mental health states based on analyses of audio inputs and/or behavioral data collected from computing devices
Systems and methods are provided for analyzing voice-based audio inputs. A voice-based audio input associated with a user (e.g., wherein the voice-based audio input is a prompt or a command) is received and measures of one or more features are extracted. One or more parameters are calculated based on the measures of the one or more features. The occurrence of one or more mistriggers is identified by inputting the one or more parameters into a predictive model. Further, systems and methods are provided for identifying human mental health states using mobile device data. Mobile device data (including sensor data) associated with a mobile device corresponding to a user is received. Measurements are derived from the mobile device data and input into a predictive model. The predictive model is executed and outputs probability values of one or more symptoms associated with the user.
Systems and methods for automatically identifying a user preference for a participant from a competition event
Systems and methods are disclosed herein for determining a preference of a user for or against a participant of an event when a media asset relating to the event is being played based on monitoring user reactions to the event. Specifically, the media guidance application may detect a change of at least one of the biometric state (e.g., pulse rate, blood pressure, etc.) and physiological state (e.g., facial expression, gesture, body movement, etc.) with a user. The media guidance application may determine that an event has occurred within the sporting event that triggered the change. The media guidance application may determine that the user favors the first participant over the second participant, if the user reacts positively towards a score for the first participant in the event.
Systems and methods for submitting user selected profile information to an advertiser
Systems and methods are described herein for allowing a user to grant or deny a third party access to different portions of the user's profile characteristics. Control circuitry may calculate an optimal promotion offer from a third party to a user based on a first layer of the user's profile characteristics matching a target-audience profile of the third party. Control circuitry may then generate for display the optimal promotion offer to the user. In response to receiving a selection of the optimal promotion offer from the user, control circuitry may receive further selections, from the user, of a subset of the user's profile characteristics to share with the third party, and then generate for display, to the user, an actual promotion offer based on the selected subset of profile characteristics.
Method and device for recommending video, and computer readable storage medium
The application relates to a video recommendation method and device, and a computer readable storage medium. The video recommendation method comprises: obtaining a user feature of a sample user and a video feature of a sample video; learning a click rate, a like rate, and a follow rate on the basis of a full-connection neural network algorithm to obtain trained user feature and video feature; performing, according to the trained user feature and video feature, combined learning on the click rate, the like rate, and the follow rate on a user side neural network and a video side neural network; and obtaining a video recommendation list according to a network parameter of a neural network algorithm obtained by means of combined learning. According to the video recommendation method, by adding a full-connection neural network algorithm training phase, the trained user feature and video feature are obtained.
RECEIVER AND SYSTEM USING AN ELECTRONIC QUESTIONNAIRE FOR ADVANCED BROADCAST SERVICES
According to one embodiment of the invention, a computer-implemented method for a digital broadcast system is described. The method involves an operation of receiving an electronic questionnaire that includes a plurality of questions registered to avoid duplication of any one of the plurality of questions. The electronic questionnaire, when processed by a receiver of the digital broadcast system, generates for display a plurality of questions. The receiver acquires answers to the electronic questionnaire, where the answers are used in adjusting content subsequently downloaded to the receiver.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DISPLAYING ADVERTISEMENTS ON MOBILE TELEPHONE DEVICES AFTER A CALL
Methods, systems, and devices for displaying advertisements on mobile telephone devices at the end of a call to a pre-designated number are disclosed. In aspect a computerized method comprises determining that a telephone call has been initiated between a mobile telephone device and a second telephone device, determining that the telephone number matches a campaign telephone number stored on the mobile telephone device, determining a media object to display based on the telephone number, downloading the media object on the mobile telephone device, determining that the telephone call has ended, and displaying the media object on the mobile telephone device after the telephone call has ended.
REMOTE MANAGEMENT OF VIRTUAL APP LIFECYCLE BASED ON CONTEXT AND SOCIAL NETWORK ACTIVITIES
Systems and methods for managing app lifecycles on a user device. A device context and a social context are determined. Based on these contexts and a respective set of context related conditions associated each of at least one server based app, a subset of the available server based apps is selected. A respective indicator of a respective user interface element for each server based app within the set of server based apps is sent. User interface inputs for a selected app within the first set of server based apps are received from the user device. The user interface inputs are processed to produce results based on the user interface inputs and the results are sent. The position of user interface elements for the server based apps is also able to be determined and specified in some examples based on the determined context.
