SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROMOTING USER ENGAGEMENT
Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media for promoting user engagement with a software application. The system identifies users sharing a common characteristic (such as location, knowledge of a sporting event, etc.) and groups the users together. The system then prompts the users with suggestions, informing the users of specials, events, historic locations, or other relevant information regarding their shared experience. In some cases, the users can play a game, using their smart phones or other devices, where the users can be ranked against one another. These rankings can be used to determine future groups, as well as rewards or other offers.
Extraction device, extraction method, and non-transitory computer readable storage medium
The extraction device according to the present application includes an acquisition unit and an extraction unit. The acquisition unit acquires behavior histories of users being candidates to whom content is to be distributed. The extraction unit extracts target users expected to perform specified behavior, based on a behavior history designated by a content provider, of the behavior histories acquired by the acquisition unit. For example, the extraction unit uses a model for determining the degree of similarity between a user performing the specified behavior and a target user expected to perform specified behavior based on the behavior history designated by the content provider in order to extract the target users.
USING THE UTILITY OF CONFIGURATIONS IN AD SERVING DECISIONS
Instead of accepting competing ads and using an arbitration function (e.g., an auction) to choose winning ads to be served with a document, sets of ads (perhaps having different characteristics) can be generated, and an arbitration function can be used to select the winning set of ads. Such arbitrations on sets of ads can consider how ads, search results, colors, positions, fonts, etc., all interact with each other and affect the usefulness of the sets of ads to advertisers, end users, document publishers, and/or an ad serving entity.
System and method for distributing messages to an electronic device based on correlation of data relating to a user of the device
The present disclosure described herein relates to a system and method for distributing messages to an electronic device. The method comprises: analyzing data relating to the device to determine a correlation of data relating to a user of the device; selecting an advertisement from a set of advertisements based on the correlation of data; and transmitting the advertisement to the device. The correlation of data may be determined from analyzing movement data and at least one status indicator relating to the device.
SYSTEM AND METHOD TO PROVIDE LOCATION-BASED DIGITAL SIGNAGE SERVICES
Embodiments for providing intelligent location-based signage services are generally described herein. An intelligent signage device may include a proximity module arranged to receive a notification that a personal device is within an area of the intelligent signage device. The signage may also include a transceiver arranged to establish a connection from the intelligent signage device to the personal device and receive user data from the personal device via the connection. An offer-customization module of the digital signal may be arranged to determine a set of display options based on the user data, a member of the set of display options corresponding to an offer for a product and a presentation module of the digital signage may be arranged to display the member of the set of display options on the intelligent signage device.
DISPLAY OF OVERLAYS AND EVENTS IN AUGMENTED REALITY USING GRAPH TRAVERSAL
Examples of techniques to display overlays and events in augmented reality using graph traversal techniques are disclosed. In one example implementation according to aspects of the present disclosure, an event is associated with each of a plurality of augmented reality overlays. The plurality of augmented reality overlays and associated events is then displayed, using graph traversal techniques, as a graphical representation.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CREATING ARRANGEMENTS OF SPACES FOR VIRTUAL REALITY
Recommendations for media assets are presented in the form of spaces (400). The spaces are selected in accordance with recommendations that are generated in accordance with a user profile. The spaces are then configured into an arrangement which a user can navigate through using virtual reality technology.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR DYNAMIC PRICING
Systems and methods are presented for conducting consumer transactions using dynamic pricing. In some embodiments, a computer-implemented method is presented. The method may include accessing, at a mobile device of a user, at least one spending constraint of the user, with the spending constraint representing a spending limit to purchase one or more items. The method may also include transmitting the at least one spending constraint to a receiver of a merchant and accessing a modified offer to purchase one or more items from the merchant, with the modified offer for the one or more items being modified from an original offer for the one or more items based on the at least one spending constraint transmitted to the merchant.
Providing content in response to user actions
Methods, systems and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium for selecting keywords for resources are disclosed. In one aspect, a search query is received associated with a first user. A determination is made that the first user is a follower of an entity feed that is provided by a first entity and that is provided through a social network. A content item is selected having distribution parameters specifying that the content item is to be provided to users that are followers of the entity feed and that submit the search query. The selected content item is provided for the first user.
ADAPTIVE VIDEO ADVERTISING USING EAS PEDESTALS OR SIMILAR STRUCTURE
Adaptive system for communicating with a customer in a retail store environment includes a sensor disposed at a sensor location in a retail environment. The sensor location is selected so that the sensor captures information that facilitates identification of at least one trait associated with a customer located proximate to the sensor location. A processing system is configured to use the information to determine the at least one trait. Thereafter, in response to such determination, the processing system selectively determines a message or content selection to be displayed to the customer based at least in part on the at least one trait that has been identified.
