RECOMMENDATION DEVICE, RECOMMENDATION SYSTEM, RECOMMENDATION METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIUM STORING RECOMMENDATION PROGRAM
A recommendation device (100) includes: a biometric information acquisition unit (112) that acquires biometric information included in a captured image captured by a predetermined imaging device; an authentication request unit (114) that causes an authentication device (200) that stores biometric information of a plurality of users to perform personal authentication for the acquired biometric information; a purchase history acquisition unit (115) that acquires, in a case where the personal authentication has succeeded, a purchase history of a user who has succeeded in the personal authentication at a predetermined shop; an estimation unit (116) that estimates a purchase tendency based on the purchase history; a selection unit (117) that selects recommendation information based on the purchase tendency; and an output unit (118) that outputs the selected recommendation information to a predetermined display terminal.
In-vehicle drowsiness analysis using blink rate
Disclosed techniques include in-vehicle drowsiness analysis using blink-rate. Video of an individual is obtained within a vehicle using an image capture device. The video is analyzed using one or more processors to detect a blink event based on a classifier for a blink that was determined. Using temporal analysis, the blink event is determined by identifying that eyes of the individual are closed for a frame in the video. Using the blink event and one or more other blink events, blink-rate information is determined using the one or more processors. Based on the blink-rate information, a drowsiness metric is calculated using the one or more processors. The vehicle is manipulated based on the drowsiness metric. A blink duration of the individual for the blink event is evaluated. The blink-rate information is compensated. The compensating is based on demographic information for the individual.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ACCESSING FIRST PARTY COOKIES
Systems and methods are disclosed for accessing first party Internet cookies. One method includes receiving, over an electronic network, a request for an electronic advertisement or an Internet cookie, wherein the request is received in response to a user requesting content from a subdomain of an advertising entity domain; and sending, to a device associated with the user, an Internet cookie having the subdomain of the advertising entity domain. The method further includes receiving, from the device associated with the user, a request for content from the subdomain of the advertising entity domain, wherein the request is received in response to the user requesting content from a domain of an online publisher; and accessing data stored in the Internet cookie sent to the device associated with the user.
DYNAMIC DETERMINATION OF LOCALIZATION SOURCE FOR WEB SITE CONTENT
Method and system for localizing an element present in a piece of content having a plurality of elements. A cost of localizing an element with respect to each of one or more localization sources is first computed. At least one criterion based on which a localization source for localizing the element is to be determined is obtained. A localization source for to the element is then selected based on an assessment with respect to the at least one criterion. The element of the content is then localized using the selected localization source.
TARGETED MARKETING BASED ON SOCIAL MEDIA INTERACTION
A system and method for providing targeted marketing to a user based on the user's social media interaction. The system includes one or more computing platforms providing computer-automated functionality performing method steps for accepting a digital media and digital media related data from a publisher, generating associated information unique identifiers, monitoring social media networks for member-user rankings of the digital media after it is posted, and communicating to a member-user targeted marketing information based on the user rankings A data storage device persists the digital media, digital media related data, and information unique identifier, which may include a linking hash character, a unique identifier, an account identifier, and/or social media network system-defined elements. The publisher selects digital media and information representing digital media elements, and posts the digital media on the social media network website. Edits, if applied to the selected digital media, are persisted in the data storage.
In-Vehicle Advertisement Systems And Methods
The disclosure is generally directed to in-vehicle advertisement systems and methods. An example method executed by processor of a vehicle may include determining an attention availability index of a driver of a vehicle and determining a first presentation duration of a first advertisement based on the attention availability index. In one scenario, the attention availability index of the driver may be determined by applying an inverse relationship to a concentration index associated with driving the vehicle. The first advertisement is presented over the first presentation duration, via an advertisement presentation device in the vehicle. In another scenario, the attention availability index of the driver may be compared to a threshold value. Based on the comparison, a second presentation duration for a second advertisement may be determined and the second advertisement presented via the advertisement presentation device in the vehicle.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ORCHESTRATING AUTOMATED CONTENT DISTRIBUTION TO ENCOURAGE DIGITAL ADOPTION
The disclosed technology relates to improved content deployment and orchestration to more effectively convert customers or users to paperless communication channels and facilitate increased digital engagement. An exemplary system may obtain user context data associated with a user following a trigger event. The system may then apply a trained machine learning model to the user context data to generate a likelihood score. The likelihood score may be indicative of a likelihood the user will enroll in a particular delivery option (e.g., paperless delivery) following the trigger event. Responsive to determining the likelihood score exceeds a threshold, the system may output content to the second user that may be identified based on a type of the trigger event and may be targeted to encourage enrollment in the delivery option. In addition to outputting the content, the system may be configured to establish orchestration for subsequent automated content delivery for the user.
SYSTEM FOR THE MERCHANDISING AND DELIVERY OF CUSTOMIZED INFORMATION RELATED TO A SPECIFIC PRODUCT OF INTEREST TO A CONSUMER
A system and method is provided for delivering customized information related to a specific product of interest to consumer. In practice, the consumer uses a suitably enabled portable, mobile and/or wireless device (e.g., such as a mobile camera phone) to scan or otherwise read a marker associated with a product, retail item or other article of interest. From the marker, a unique ID is obtained (i.e., the marker ID). The marker ID is then used to cross-reference a URL or other like address in a database that relates marker IDs to corresponding URLs. The target URL is returned to the consumer's device and an http session is established with a content management server at the target URL. In one suitable embodiment, the content management server obtains a SKU and/or template web page ID that are associated with the marker ID in a database. Suitably, the SKU relates to the specific product with which the marker was associated. Having in this way determined the actual specific product of interest to the consumer, customized information related thereto can be delivered to the consumer's device, e.g., via a web page optimized for the identified device. Optionally, the web page content and/or template is obtained from a database that associates the same with the template web page ID received by the content management server.
Node association payment transactions using elements of a wireless node network
Improved methods and systems are described that improve and enhance payment transaction technologies using node association in a wireless node network. In general, a master node related to a payment receiver may detect a signal from an ID node related to a payment provider as the ID node approaches the master node. The master node may then determine if the ID node desires to associate with the master node for a payment transaction based upon a first part of information within the detected signal, such as an identified item being purchased in the transaction. If desired, the master node and the ID node associate for the payment transaction, and the master node then submits payment transaction data to a server. Such payment transaction data is based upon a second part of information within the detected signal, such as an identified payment source for the transaction.
Systems and methods for personalized timing for advertisements
Systems and methods are provided herein for determining personalized timing for generating for display advertisements to users. Rather than an expert determining time segments of a media asset most suitable for presenting advertisements to users, the most suitable time segments in a media asset for presenting advertisements to users may be customized based on a user's profile information and/or the user's level of engagement in a media asset. The media guidance application may parse a media asset into multiple time segments and determine one or more time segments associated with metadata that matches content characteristics preferred by the user. One or more advertisements may be presented to the user in these time segments determined by the media guidance application instead of the time segments determined by the expert.
