A recommendation method includes retrieving content consumption data including content consumed and content not consumed. Based on the content consumption data, identifying a first piece of content not consumed. A first feature of the first piece of content related to negative consumption of the first piece of content is determined. A first system is used to revise the first feature to a second feature. A second piece of content including the second feature is provided to an electronic device. The second piece of content is a revised instance of the first piece of content.
Advertisements responsive to coupon states
Various embodiments provide advertising that is aware of coupon states and user states. An advertisement to be presented to a user is determined. One of multiple versions of the advertisement is generated based at least in part on a state associated with the user and/or a state associated with a digital coupon for an item. One or more of the versions present the digital coupon. Data encoding the generated version of the advertisement is sent to a client associated with the user.
Programmatic advertising server
Systems, methods, and computer program products are provided for auctioning advertising inventory for various applications, including for mobile applications. In various embodiments, a request for an advertisement is received at a first server from a client device. The request is sent, from the first server, to two or more remote servers. A bid value and an asset to be presented at the client device is received from each of the two or more remote servers. A highest bid is determined from the received bid values. Whether the asset associated with the highest bid is compliant based on the request is determined. When the asset is determined to be compliant, the asset is sent to the client device.
Server-based product substantiation with local filtering system and method
A system and method is presented for product substantiation and promotion redemption. A purchased product list is transmitted from a retail store system to a promotion analysis server along with a user identifier. The promotion analysis server identifies promotions available to the user, and then considers whether the benefits under the promotions are still available to the user. Discounts for available promotions related to the purchased product list are calculated and transmitted to the retail store system for deduction from the transactions. An approved product list can be provided that filters the purchased product list before transmittal. The approved product list can include promotions from a plurality of programs.
System and method for digital advertising campaign optimization
A technique for dynamically adjusting a digital advertising campaign during an active campaign flight is discussed. Using feedback from a digital survey over an exposed audience of user populations, brand lift may be calculated on a per ad creative and/or per site basis. User characteristics derived from content consumption patterns may be used to optimize ongoing campaigns and formulate target audiences and target creative formats for new campaigns.
Brand personality inference and recommendation system
Mechanisms are provided to implement a brand personality inference engine. The mechanisms receive crowdsource information and extract features associated with a brand from the crowdsource information. The crowdsource information comprises natural language content submitted by a plurality of providers to a crowdsource information source. The mechanisms analyze features associated with the brand in accordance with a brand personality model configured to predict a brand personality for the brand based on the features associated with the brand. The mechanisms generate an inferred brand personality data structure, representing a perceived brand personality of providers providing the crowdsource information, and output an output indicating aspects of the perceived brand personality based on the inferred brand personality data structure.

An action of computing the score representing similarity between at least one pair of computerized devices respectively providing the first and the second data items. And an action of determining that the pair of computerized devices are operated by a same user if the score reaches a predetermined value.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ATTRIBUTING MULTI-CHANNEL CONVERSION EVENTS AND SUBSEQUENT ACTIVITY TO MULTI-CHANNEL MEDIA SOURCES
This paper presents a practical method for measuring the impact of multiple marketing events on sales, including marketing events that are not traditionally trackable. The technique infers which of several competing media events are likely to have caused a given conversion. The method is tested using hold-out sets, and also a live media experiment for determining whether the method can accurately predict television-generated web conversions.
