The computer system facilitates transmission of a digital message, the content of which may be determined in response to the instance of the one particular state identified. The content of some digital messages may include experiments performed by the computer system on the person, to test the validity of the state-identification-process. The state-identification-process can then be updated with the observed responses of the person to the experiments, and with the results of the experiments. These experiments and the updating of the state-identification-process might be performed by the computer system to autonomously refine the state-identification-process.

Systems and methods are disclosed for determining segments of online users from a correlated dataset. One method includes receiving, over a network, a plurality of datasets including user-related data of a plurality of users, each dataset being transmitted from a data owner; correlating, by at least one processor, the plurality of datasets into a correlated dataset; receiving a segmentation request for determining a plurality of users that qualify for a segment, the segmentation request including a set of segment rules to apply to the correlated dataset; determining, by accessing the correlated dataset, whether each user of the plurality of users qualifies for the segment based on the segment rule; and storing an indication of the segment in the correlated dataset for each user determined to qualify for the segment.

The method may include a step of receiving a user identifier associated with the user from a requesting entity, such as a server computer. Further, the method may include a step of identifying an anonymous identifier corresponding to the user identifier. Furthermore, the method may include a step of transmitting the anonymous user behavior data to the requesting entity. In some embodiments, a cardholder initiates a first user-initiated interaction between a bank card and a bank card machine, which generates a first purchase authorization request. One or more processors of a first bank then determine an optimal rewards program for the purchase, and then decline the first purchase authorization request. The cardholder may then initiate a second user-initiated interaction between the bank card and the bank card machine, which generates a second purchase authorization request. One or more processors of a second bank (e.g., a bank of the rewards program) may then authorize the second purchase authorization request. Alternatively, some embodiments complete a purchase according to a determined optimal rewards program with only one user-initiated interaction.

In one embodiment, a method includes receiving information associated with a project for creation of digital content and generating an object including the received information, where the object is stored by a social-networking system. The method also includes causing a data item associated with a blockchain network to be generated and deployed to the blockchain network, where the data item is generated based on the information associated with the project that is included in the object, is associated with a type of token recorded in a blockchain associated with the blockchain network, and includes instructions executable according to a protocol associated with the blockchain network. The method further includes collecting information associated with the data item from the blockchain and updating the object based on the collected information.
