TRADING GOODS BASED ON IMAGE PROCESSING FOR INTEREST, EMOTION AND AFFINITY DETECTION

A system for trading goods over a computer network based on image processing includes an image processor that analyzes a picture received from a user to build a description of entities in the picture and correlations among the entities, a description interpreter that analyzes the description to determine an underlying message in the picture and detect information regarding the user's interests, emotions and affinities to goods and services, wherein the information is stored with the user's profile, the user's list of items to trade, and the user's past transaction history, and a trade matching component that uses the user's profile and produces a ranked list of other users with items to trade, or intermediary trade steps, when another user initiates a new trading transaction.

Personalized Channel

In certain embodiments, a decision system may allow a user to define a personalized channel based on the user's interests and including associated information. The decision system may subsequently use the personalized channel to determine and present options to the user. In certain embodiments, the decision system may allow the user to share his or her personalized channel with other users and may reward the user when his or her personalized channel is used. Further, the decision system may recommend options for addition to the user's channel.

Dynamic Search in Search

In certain embodiments, a purchase option system may include an interface configured to couple to a network, a processor coupled to the interface, and a memory coupled to the processor. The memory may be configured to store instructions that, when executed, cause the processor to provide a graphical interface to a destination device via the interface. The graphical interface can include at least one purchase option of a plurality of purchase options and can include a plurality of selectable options corresponding to each adjustable variable within the plurality of purchase options. The memory may further include instructions that, when executed, cause the processor to receive data corresponding to selection of one of the plurality of selectable options and provide an update to the graphical interface to include at least one different purchase option determined from the plurality of purchase options based on the received data.

Mobile Communication Device Awareness and Guidance for Customer Assistance Applications
20170091819 · 2017-03-30 ·

A method and system for assisting customers in determining a best retail store location, reaching the location and obtaining assistance from a retail store associate at the location is disclosed. The method employs mobile communication device hardware, software and communication network infrastructure as well as near-field transmitters and receivers to achieve beacon orientation and location functionality.

Identity verification and authentication

In one embodiment, receiving, at a first computing device associated with a social-networking system and from a second computing device, a first request to verify an identity of a user of the social-networking system; sending, by the first computing device and to a mobile device associated with the user, a second request for information about the user; receiving, at the first computing device and from the mobile device, the information about the user; determining, by the first computing device, a confidence score indicating a probability that the identity of the user is true based on the information about the user received from the mobile device and information available to the social-networking system; and sending, by the first computing device and to the second computing device, the confidence score.

Non-fungible token transaction management systems and methods for digital health data

A health data management method using non-fungible tokens may include receiving, via one processor, digital health data and encrypting or obscuring personal identifying information of the digital health data. The method may then involve using the digital health data with encrypted or obscured personal identifying information to generate a non-fungible token and providing the non-fungible tokens in a marketplace. The method may also involve accepting an offer from a purchaser for the non-fungible token via the marketplace and providing unobscured digital health data or an encryption key to the purchaser of the non-fungible token.

MANAGING TRANSACTION STATE DATA

A device may receive, from a user device, user response data associated with a partially completed application, the user response data including application state data indicating a state of the partially completed application. The device may identify information associated with the user device and determine, based at least in part on the information, that a triggering event has occurred. Upon determining that the triggering event has occurred, the device may perform an action based on the user response data and a mobile application associated with the user device. The device may store the application state data and user response data. The triggering event may include a time-based, geographic location-based, behavioral-based, or device state-based triggering event. Actions could include generating a notification, updating a user interface, or issuing a follow-up action based on a predefined schedule associated with the user device.

Electronic layaway

A computing system includes a database and at least one processor. The at least one processor is configured to: receive, from an entity computing system, a request related to a layaway transaction of a user; and, in response to receiving the request, automatically facilitate initiation of a layaway deposit account by associating the layaway deposit account with a user profile stored in the database, generating a link between the layaway deposit account and a physical card number, generating a rule that governs the physical card number, and associating the rule with the physical card number. The at least one processor is further configured to receive, from an automated teller machine (ATM), a transaction request that complies with the rule associated with the physical card number.
