METHODS OF CAPTURING IMAGES AND MAKING GARMENTS
This disclosure relates to better methods for making garments, for example by capturing images of a subject and making garments for that subject without requiring the subject to visit a tailor for conventional measurement with a tape measure. The disclosed methods provide a faster, easier, and more convenient way to acquire measurements. The disclosed methods also provide better fitting garments and higher customer satisfaction.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONSUMER CHOICE MODELING
A method is provided, comprising steps (a) providing a search query to a user, wherein the user enters an item into the search query; (b) presenting the user with a consumer choice model, wherein the consumer choice model is a three choice model comprising a first container block having first item, a second item, and a third item; (c) navigating through a plurality of three choice models via a plurality of commands; and (d) selecting an item.
System and Method for Part Identification Using 3D Imaging
The system and method deal with three-dimensional (3D) scanning technology which produces object representations which permit rapid, highly-accurate part identification which is not afforded by traditional two-dimensional (2D) camera imaging. The system and method are applicable to any field wherein repair/replacement parts are needed, such as the plumbing, automotive, fastener, marine, window, door, etc. fields
System and method for recommending home appliances to a consumer
A system functions to recommend equipment expansions, additions and/or substitutions; interconnections; supplemental capabilities; features; etc. based upon a knowledge of a consumer's existing audio and/or visual system configuration.

A rental self-service (“RSS”) computer system, including a processor and a memory, is provided. The processor is programmed to: (i) verify that a policyholder is eligible to receive a replacement rental; (ii) transmit a customized link to the eligible policyholder; (iii) receive an access request for access of a rental self-service portal, (iv) retrieve policyholder data using information extracted from the customized link; (v) pre-populate a portion of a searchable interface of the rental self-service portal using the retrieved policyholder data; (vi) cause rental vehicle data to be displayed to enable the policyholder to view available rental options and select a vehicle class; (vii) calculate a policyholder cost for renting a selected vehicle class; and (viii) cause to be displayed on the user device (a) the calculated policyholder cost and (b) an option to confirm the rental reservation.
INTEREST INFORMATION ANALYSIS METHOD USING SCROLL PATTERN AND APPARATUS USING THE SAME
Disclosed herein are an interest information analysis method and an apparatus using the same. The method and apparatus are configured to extract a target screen from a user terminal in consideration of scrolling speed, calculate a degree of interest in content information included in the target screen in consideration of multiple split screens corresponding to the target screen and a user touch area, and analyze information about interest of the user by arranging multiple pieces of content information acquired from the user terminal based on the degree of interest. Accordingly, information about interest of the user or a field of interest to the user may be analyzed without referring to a definite intention expressed by the user.
Guided real estate search using contextual refinement
A guided search system for suggesting and arranging filter criteria within a user interface for presentation to a user to help guide the user's search for listings is disclosed. The system builds one or more filter criteria frequency data structures indicative of the number of times each filter criterion has been used to filter search results and how often different filter criteria are used together. The system uses the frequency data structures to predict which filter criteria a user will likely employ to narrow their search given the filter criteria the user has already used. The system provides techniques for arranging or rearranging filter criteria within a user interface, by moving, placing, or ordering suggested filter criteria within the user interface, where a user is likely to be able to recognize and interact with the placed filter criteria, based on the determined amounts of use.
Retail Space Management
In some embodiments, systems, apparatuses, and methods are provided herein useful to manage a retail space. In some embodiments, cubic product representations within the retail location are provided herein which represent the actual space and location of products within the store. Data for the retail space, such as blueprint, floorplan, and item modular data, can be merged and transformed into a central database to create the cubic product representations. Further, the cubic product representations within the retail location can be provided to users through a user interface, such as a web viewer.
NEURAL CONTEXTUAL BANDIT BASED COMPUTATIONAL RECOMMENDATION METHOD AND APPARATUS
Disclosed are systems and methods utilizing neural contextual bandit for improving interactions with and between computers in content generating, searching, hosting and/or providing systems supported by or configured with personal computing devices, servers and/or platforms. The systems interact to make item recommendations using latent relations and latent representations, which can improve the quality of data used in processing interactions between or among processors in such systems. The disclosed systems and methods use neural network modeling in automatic selection of a number of items for recommendation to a user and using feedback in connection with the recommendation for further training of the model(s).
CONVERSATIONAL MAPPING OF WEB ITEMS FOR MEDIATED GROUP DECISIONS
A method and apparatus for conversational mapping of web items for mediated group decisions is disclosed. In one embodiment of the method, a web server delivers a web page that comprises a hyperlink and identities of one or more products that were selected at an E-commerce website by an online shopper via a web browser. In response to activation of the hyperlink by the online shopper via the web browser, product information for the one or more products is transferred in a transaction message to a decision-support system via a network. The decision-support system sends some or all of the product information to one or more user devices. The decision-support system subsequently receives review information related to the one or more products from the one or more user devices via a messaging service. The decision-support system processes the product review information to generate a result, and the decision-support system sends the result to another user device for display thereon via the messaging service.
