DETERMINING GENERIC ITEMS FOR ORDERS ON AN ONLINE CONCIERGE SYSTEM
An online system provides options for selection by a user. The online system receives a query entered on a client device. The online system queries an item database to retrieve a set of items related to the query and assigns each item to a product category in a predefined taxonomy that maps items to product categories. The online system inputs each item into a prediction model trained to predict a probability that an item is available at a warehouse location. The online system determines that a first product category has low availability based on predicted probabilities for items in the first product category. Responsive to determining that a first product category has low availability, the online system generates a generic item for the first product category and sends a list of items including the generic item to the client device for display responsive to the query.
REPLENISHMENT RECEPTACLE (CONNECTED CONSUMER PACKAGED GOODS) FOR A CONSUMPTION AND REPLENISHMENT SYSTEM AND PROCESS
A replenishment receptacle comprised of a volumetric region for storing a consumable good during shipping to a consumer location, a processor, a transceiver, programmatic instructions stored in a non-transitory storage medium, an a sensor for determining a quantity of the consumable good in the volumetric region. The sensor periodically detects and reports changes in the quantity of the consumable good present the volumetric region. When the quantity is low (below an established threshold), the consumer good is automatically reordered from a vender, purchased, and shipped to a consumer location. In embodiments, a rate of consumption of the consumable good affects when automatic reordering occurs to ensure the consumable good does not run-out before a new quantity arrives at the consumer location. The replenishment receptacle is able to be discarded in embodiments, where in others it is reusable and/or partially recyclable.
Methods and systems for processing products listed in a landscaping project
A computer implemented method for processing products listed in a landscaping project, includes the steps of: collecting and capturing open format raw data of a material list; translating the captured data into text format data; mapping the text format data to generate a matched material list with associated procurement information; generating a smart spreadsheet including an array of smart cells; wherein at least one smart cell corresponds to a particular itemized plant name or landscaping supply to display a content match indicator. When the content match indicator is less than a target value, search for a substitute; forwarding to the client device, the smart spreadsheet for user's selections or modifications to the contents according to user's preference; in response to a user's modifying the content of the smart cell, updating the smart spreadsheet; and displaying a total cost estimate for bidding or for procurement for the landscaping project.
Multi-account frictionless shopping
A method for automatically updating a plurality of virtual shopping carts, includes receiving image data captured in a retail store, wherein a first shopping receptacle and a second shopping receptacle are represented in the received image data, determining that the first shopping receptacle is associated with a first virtual shopping cart and that the second shopping receptacle is associated with a second virtual shopping cart different from the first virtual shopping cart, analyzing the received image data to detect a shopper placing a first product in the first shopping receptacle and to detect the shopper placing a second product in the second shopping receptacle, automatically updating the first virtual shopping cart to include information associated with the first product, and automatically updating the second virtual shopping cart to include information associated with the second product.
Intelligent store system and intelligent store method
An intelligent store system and an intelligent store method are provided. The method includes: sensing, by a proximity sensor, whether there is a first customer approaching the proximity sensor; sensing, by an image sensor, a movement trajectory of the first customer; and determining whether the first customer is entering or leaving a store in response to the first customer approaching the proximity sensor sensed by the proximity sensor. If the first customer is entering the store, a first virtual identity and a first virtual shopping cart corresponding to the first virtual identity are generated for the first customer, and a first product list of the first virtual shopping cart is updated according to the movement trajectory. If the first customer is leaving the store, a first operation of the first customer is received by a human machine interface, and the first product list according to the first operation is updated.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING A USER INTERFACE FOR AN ELECTRONIC TRANSACTIONS PLATFORM
A computer-implemented method for providing a user interface to a user includes receiving wearable article data describing wearable articles for physical shipment to users via electronic interactions; generating a user interface for an electronic transactions platform based at least on the received wearable article data; causing display of the user interface depicting one or more of the wearable articles; receiving a selection of a wearable article of the displayed one or more wearable articles via the user interface; determining a condition of the selected wearable article at least based on the received wearable article data in response to the selection; reserving the selected wearable article for a predetermined period of time in response to the selection; updating and causing display of the user interface depicting the selected wearable article and the determined condition; and determining whether the selected wearable article is purchased or borrowed during the predetermined period of time.
Purchase of digital products at a remote management server using a non-browser based application
A method and system for receiving digital artifacts from a management server. The method includes sending a request for a digital artifact from a mobile application to the management server for display within a specific mobile application generated screen, receiving the digital artifact from the management server, and displaying the digital artifact with the specific mobile application generated screen.
TECHNIQUES FOR FILLING ORDERS
A system includes N location indicators and a mobile scanning device. The N location indicators are configured to be arranged throughout a store that includes a plurality of stocked items for picking according to one or more electronic customer orders. Each of the N location indicators is configured to transmit a different location signal. The mobile scanning device includes a display. The mobile scanning device is configured to wirelessly receive an electronic customer order comprising a plurality of ordered items indicating which of the stocked items are to be picked, detect at least one of the N location signals, and arrange at least some of the plurality of ordered items on the display based on which of the at least one of the N location signals is detected.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR FACILITATING PURCHASES AT A GAS STATION
A computing system for remotely activating a transaction device including at least one memory having instructions stored thereon that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to receive, from a mobile device, a transaction device identifier, receive, from the transaction device, an authorization request associated with a payment account for a transaction at the transaction device, receive location information from the mobile device and location information from the transaction device in response to receiving the authorization request, compare the location information to determine whether the mobile device is in proximity to the transaction device, and upon determining that the mobile device is in proximity to the transaction device, determine an authorization status of the authorization request, and transmit a signal to activate the transaction device to complete the transaction, wherein the signal is transmitted based on the transaction device identifier.
Systems to fulfill a picked sales order and related methods therefor
A number of embodiments can include a system. The system can include one or more processors and one or more non-transitory computer-readable storage devices storing computing instructions. The computing instructions can be configured to run on the one or more processors and perform: receiving a request for a picked order that can comprise: a conveyance type; and one or more goods; estimating a fulfillment time interval to make ready the one or more goods of the picked order by: evaluating whether the picked order is able to be batched in a picked order batch; and when the picked order is able to be batched, evaluating the conveyance type to determine a conveyance type average fulfilment time interval; determining, using the fulfillment time interval, as estimated, and the conveyance type average fulfilment time interval, a receivable clock time at which to promise the one or more goods for receipt by a receiver; and communicating the receivable clock time to an electronic device of the receiver. Other embodiments are also disclosed herein.
