A computer-based system, and a computer-implemented method, mentors students, particularly women and ethnic and racial minorities, intending to enter healthcare professions. The system uses a gamified mobile-enabled web application (App) that serves as a visual and interactive dashboard populated with checklists, career support resources, strategies, tips, and a mentoring platform to educate, encourage, empower, and facilitate the entry of students into the healthcare professions.

Provided are a method and a system for generating a career plan for achieving a career goal. The method may commence with receiving user parameters and the career goal including a career title and a term for achieving the career goal by a user. The method may include identifying persons having the career title and establishing career patterns based on parameters of the persons. Each of the career patterns may include actions taken by the persons that resulted in achieving the career title by the persons. The method may include matching the user parameters with the actions and determining actions to be performed by the user to achieve the career goal and a timeline for performing the actions. The method may continue with comparing the timeline to the term for achieving the career goal and creating the career plan that may include the actions to be performed by the user.
Remote device content and learning management system and method
A system and method of providing centrally updatable digital content on local electronic devices via a remote device content and learning management system is provided. At least one media server is provided having central high bandwidth content resident thereon, at least intermittently communicatable with at least one local electronic device. The local device is populatable with the central high bandwidth content as an instance of local high bandwidth content. The local high bandwidth content is compared to the central high bandwidth content, and the currentness of the local high bandwidth content is determined with respect to the central high bandwidth content. The local high bandwidth content is updated if it is determined to be not current with respect to the central high bandwidth content via downloading newer content from the media server to the local electronic device. The system is preferably app-based.
MENTOR-PROTÉGÉ MATCHING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A novel mentor-mentee matching system that uses statistics on collaborative involvement to identify suitable mentor-mentee pairing is disclosed. The mentor-mentee matching system receives collaboration data about one or more prospective mentors over one or more subject areas. The system computes a survival quotient for a prospective mentor in a particular subject area by aggregating data relating to longevity of involvement by the prospective mentor in the particular subject area. The system predicts a probability of mentoring relationship survival for a future time interval for the prospective mentor over the particular subject area based on the received collaboration data and the computed survival quotient.
Apparatus and method for generating a coaching development within a coaching process
An apparatus for generating a personalized development program, the apparatus comprises a data collection unit configured to collect user data and a computing device connected to the data collection unit configured to receive user data, process the user metadata using an objective classifier, wherein the objective classifier is configured to transform user metadata into user objective datums, obtain user data associated with user objective datums containing historical progress data, generate a coaching development program using a development program machine-learning model, wherein the development program machine-learning model is configured to determine a plurality of resources and strategies for goals achievement as a function of user objective datums and the historical progress data, maintain a user progress tracking and adapt development path within the personalized development program by executing modifications on the program based on secondary user input data, and display the coaching development program using a visual interface.

The method further includes determining from the profile for the user and the skills associated with various positions in an organization, one or more acquirable skills that would enable the user to achieve the target position from the current position, determining one or more professional development activities that correspond to the acquirable skills, and presenting the acquirable skills and the professional development activities to the user. A computer system and computer product corresponding to the above method are also disclosed herein.

A method, executed by a computer, includes determining, via machine learning, skills associated with various positions in an organization, receiving a profile for a user including a current position for the user, and receiving a target position for the user. The method further includes determining from the profile for the user and the skills associated with various positions in an organization, one or more acquirable skills that would enable the user to achieve the target position from the current position, determining one or more professional development activities that correspond to the acquirable skills, and presenting the acquirable skills and the professional development activities to the user. INTERNET OF THINGS (IOT) ENHANCED TOOL SAFETY
Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, system and computer program product for Internet of things (IoT) enhanced tool safety. In an embodiment of the invention, a method for IoT enhanced tool safety includes establishing by an IoT server over a computer communications network a communicative coupling to a mobile device associated with an end user, receiving in the IoT server from the mobile device from over the communicative coupling an identifier of a tool in wireless communication with the mobile device, determining in the IoT server based upon the identifier if the end user associated with the mobile device has completed requisite training for using the tool and directing by the IoT server a prompting of the user in the mobile device to complete the requisite training prior to using the tool in response to a determination that the end user has not completed the requisite training.
REPORTING TAXONOMY
A method, computer system, and computer program product are provided for managing reports. A subset of data fields is identified for inclusion in a new report. An intent of the new report is determined based on the subset of data fields. The intent is determined using a set of machine learning models trained from a set of existing reports and a taxonomy of human capital management (HCM) information. Based on the intent determined by the artificial intelligence system, a set of additional fields is predicted for the new report. The set of the additional fields is displayed in a graphical user interface on a display system.
Skill platform system, skill modeling device, and skill dissemination method
According to one embodiment, a skill platform system includes a data acquisition unit, a model creation unit and a skill provision unit. The data acquisition unit is configured to acquire data on work of a skilled worker at a first site. The model creation unit is configured to perform modeling a skill of the skilled worker using the data acquired by the data acquisition unit. The skill provision unit is configured to provide the skill of the skilled worker to a second site by using the model created by the model creation unit.
